My First Impression of Pakistan

I'm Oskar, a 28-year-old Swede.
I've always had a certain love for film, and good stories in general. However, it wasn't until recently that I decided I wanted to start creating them myself. So even though I'm a complete beginner with no clue what I'm doing, I'm very passionate about improving, learning the craft of filmmaking and storytelling. I want to experience as much as possible and live a life that's actually worth documenting. My hope is that this channel will eventually produce films that other people can extract some value from, even if it's just entertainment. I also hope it will work as a sort of archive, a collection of memories, a way for me to look back on my life.
I don't know the direction the channel will take. It's not just about travel, even though I tend to do a lot of it. It's about stories, experiences, life, or whatever else I find interesting in life. The content will probably be all over the place and change over time, just like me.

I am very happy that you expressed such a good opinion for Pakistan. I am running a small tour company in Pakistan and have toured Rakaposhi base camp 2 times in the month of July.

For the mountains
Such an amazing trek!! I’d done that in June 2014 carrying a 25-kg backpack up to Hapakun, and then put it on a donkey up to Taghafari. I stayed there for three days and even trekked to Diran base camp across the treacherous Minapin Glacier. You guys reminded me so much of my trek. I feel nostalgic now.
I would like to recommend you to visit deosai (the land of giants ) it probably would be closed because of snow and temperature but consider it once it once in your life , it feels like you are on different planet,it is completely unbelievable there like wild horses brown bear and this much altitude with that beautiful lake is completely unbelievable,by the way thanks for the video it shows the true image of Pakistan, lots of love❤❤

Its unfortunate that foreigners can't travel to Kashmir side in Pakistan. there are some very beautiful hikes. "Chitta katha lake track" and "Ratti gali lake too besal" etc. well anyways, take any route in any valley between those mountains and you'll find something beautiful for sure.
Hi dear,, Pakistan has the second biggest deposits of ice after Antarctica , consisting of over 7000 glaciers. Wish you good trip.

Oskar. Welcome to the country of my birth. I have not been there in a long while and live in Florida but you are likely to meet the most hospitable and helpful people there and once you make a friend there, they will be your friends for life no matter how far you are or how long you stay away. Once you see them again, it will be like you were friends just yesterday. These are things you will find harder to come by in the west. Enjoy, be nice and respectful and you should have no problems there at all.

@@OskarViking Yup. I grew up there in Sindh till I was 19 and then moved to the US in 1989. There are good and bad things about both. Of course, I call US home now. My wife and son are both Americans and never seen Pakistan yet. I speak 4 languages and they speak uno. It's kind of good when we have arguments :).

Swat . but weather will be too cold nowadays
Please do portray modern Pakistan as well , not only the slums or streets. Better visit old Lahore for historical fascination .
@@OskarVikingCheck if Swat (the switizerland of Pakistan) is safe to visit. If yes, definitely yes. Kashmir, Naran, chitral are some other recommendations.

Do Visit Chitral. Visit Kailash Valley, Garam Chashma also visit the border near Afghanistan through Garam Chashma, I have not seen any vlog on that route,
