The fly reminds me of a young hybrid white bass, the dark feather mimics the single dark line on its body. I am going to try this one for Large and Smallmouth bass here.
Fantastic video. What type of rabbit hair did you use? Any synthetic alternatives that have worked well? Last, how long is the overall fly in 3/0 hook? Beautifully done.
Klasse Streamer!
Was hältst du davon?
Hi Don, the vice is very nice for travel, etc... Does it s job... I use it mainly for the videos and stationary, I have a Dynaking Barracuda... what you want to use the tying vice for? Will add a material list to the video description within tve next days... Always tight lines and stay safe and healthy!!!!
@@ramilangustotv1436 You know what I found worked best for skip jack, the regular clouser. Sometimes tuna want you to strip fast, lightning fast. The weighted fly keeps it moving in between strips when it sinks, always in motion. I've had plenty of tuna turn away from a fly that momentarily pauses in between strips. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for your comment Thomas…. While I am not native speaker and want to understand, what is a hook point‘s bleeding? kind regards and always tight lines!

Tie the pattern with a mix of red and green or yellow hair on the dorsal portion and you have a great steelhead streamer!

That rabbit hair was so long! I guess my white dog's long tail hair could be a good substitute for that! ;)
Very nice idea!!!

I fish freshwater, but this fly has got to be deadly in any water. Very nice
Thanks... and alwas tight lines!
I’m new to tying. What fur are you using? So many types out there. Want to get what you are using. Thanks for the video and great fly.
In this one I am using Nayat…. But as a beginner I would recommend Craft Fur and Polar Fibre….
@@flyfish3687 are these easier to tie? Do they behave differently?
Yes, they do bahave different…. My reco is in my opinion the easiest with good results…
👍
The body is Craft fur ???
No, this one is Nayat…
