I work in a candle shop. The wax sinks down when your wax is too hot. Do not pour them untill the wax cools to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. I love the teacup candles. Great ideas.
Yes! I am tired of seeing everyone doing the same flips or flips that look like a child's art project. These flips were fantastic !! I loved them. I look forward to seeing what you are going to do each week and this week was impressive. Thank You.
As many have said, the reading cat shadow box was absolutely adorable! And the teacup tree and saucer candle holders were gorgeous! Far from being the same old DIY projects over and over again!! ❤
Do you know what I love most about your videos? It's a lovely mix of simple and more complex projects so that the crafter can pick and choose which projects to do. I love the simplicity of the oil can, the large frame and the framed canvas. Your idea to use the brass table leg and silver tray to hold several candles is impressive. I loved how you displayed the tea cups in the votive candle stand and then using the teacup saucers to hold candles. Well, that's just genius! However, I think one of my favorite projects is the cat nestled inside that shadow box. Your creativity is endless.
Sherry, you must treat us to this type of unexpected delightful decor anytime the mood strikes. OMGoodness the cat reading a book, the repurposed purse and the teacup candles were truly a surprise. I love Monday, mid-afternoons, so very much. Are you sure you wouldn't like to unexpectedly awe us with a 2nd round some weeks or mid-month? It is a pleasure being invited to your corner of the decor world. Until next time, Be Blessed and Safe. Karen in NC
Oh, Karen, you are so kind! I do wish I had time to make more than one video each week. Unfortunately, I do everything slowly. I keep hoping that I will get more efficient with my time.
Well, Sherry, I loved each and every one of these projects. I’m not a cat person but the black cat in glasses and reading was absolutely adorable. The trays used to make a table was pure genius. Actually, all the projects were wonderful! Keep up the terrific videos! You rock! Thanks once again for great inspiration!
Oh that metal candle holder was GORGEOUS! It’s amazing how you can visualize an end product from scraps and create a one of a kind beautiful and unique craft. I loved that!! You give me so many ideas to push myself to create the unusual instead of always playing it safe. I have to say, it’s really fun! Sometimes I amaze myself!! You’re a great influencer!
Thank you so much! This might be my all time favorite comment! I always hope that viewers will try new things and realize that they are more creative than they realize. (I don’t think that I am super creative; I am just willing to experiment and try things.)
I love the "Shh, I'm reading" cat shadow box -- adorable! I love what you did with the purse. I've always had a thing about purses, even since early childhood. Strange, huh? And the pedestal with trays transformed into a candle stand with array of candles is beautiful. I like it in your bathroom, particularly. I really like the oil can with flower arrangement. I agree that there is something really charming about it. The TJ Maxx frame with IOD transfer is just amazing. Honestly, Sherri, I love everything you create. Thanks for another terrific video! 💜
Oh, thank you, Elizabeth! You are so sweet! I am so glad you enjoyed this video! (And, I don’t think it’s strange that you love purses. I love vintage purses, too!)
I really liked the shade box with the cat reading. I enjoyed stretching my imagination with you, looking for those unexpected treasures. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us.
My favourite upcycles today were the reading cat and the little oil can. I don't know how you come up with these original ideas, but I'm envious 😊 I love your tenacity!
I am always just blown away with your creativity! You create such unique items. It gives me the inspiration to go out and try to find very similar items, but I usually don't find them. I couldn't come up with these in my own, but once I see them done I can recreate it. I'm just not that artistic. Thank you Sherry for these great projects.
Ohhhh, Sherry, The Queen of Decordom and The Ladyship of Cleverness amazes your followers and you are so very admired by this old lady from Ga. Thank you for the time and effort that you put into these projects. ♥️ I think the teacup tree and saucer candle sticks are a new standard that all will have use for and enjoy but I also loved all of today’s projects.
Such wonderful upcycles! Loved all of them. I have a small teddy bear reading a book and sitting on a pile of books. And I know I have a box full of shadow boxes. Have got to mimic your reading cat shadow box because it was just so precious! Thanks so much for the idea. I just love it when I get a notification for one of your videos! 😊
That tea cup tower would be so cute for a tea party or high tea afternoons as a beautiful centerpiece. I also loved the tiles you made from the torn poster. It shows a person with imagination can remake almost everything.
I LOVE the saucer candle 🕯holders! Oh my gosh❣ how cute is the cat reading shadow box.i love the large candle stand but...I'd use battery operated instead. Lastly your IOD Lover of flowers is gorgeous...now you have me rethinking them on my next trip. TY🎉
Thank you, Cheryl! I’m so glad you enjoyed these projects. I need to think of some more uses for old saucers because I have several extra saucers with no teacups!😜
Ok Sherry, dear lady, you never ever do ordinary flips on anything!😅. Everything thing you flip, redo or whatever you call it, is always extraordinary. I love these ideas. That cat 🐈⬛ is so stinking adorable, teacup candles very pretty, big frame really brought the card to everyone’s attention and the green frame was prefect for the rose transfer. You keep doing what you do best, fantabulous flips.😊❤
Sherry, I’m not finished with the video but had to drop a comment midway about the Edgar Allen Poe shadow box of the cat. I LOVE it! This is so creative with the story and cat figurine. As an avid reader I’m always saying shh I’m reading lol. ❤ (Edit) I’m back… the purse flip is a fantastic idea for sweet old purses. And the last one, paint a frame and existing print all one color - who knew. 😊 I have a frame to replicate this. This video has inspired me; I appreciate your creativity on how else you can repurpose otherwise old items. Wonderful content. Thank you.
You knocked it out of the park this week, lady. Of course, you always do. I'm amazed at how you keep coming up with all your unique ideas. You have a lot of fans. I'm one.😊

Thank you so much, Connie! I’m so glad you enjoyed this week’s video. I am doing a bedroom makeover for my son next week. The landlord said no wallpaper, so I am going to try something kind of crazy. I hope it works. 🤞

The reading cat in the shadow box is such a wonderful piece. The humor in the words you added were the frosting on the cake.
