I started off with a 2000 Honda accord v6, it had a cracked frame but it still rode like a mf. I learned as long as you take care of yo Honda , it’s gone take care of you like my GPops told me. He loved his Honda… long story short I’m back in the accord fam 2011. Got my baby tinted and all the good maintenance but man I gotta grab a Apple CarPlay asap but love the content G keep putting on for the Honda GANG!!!

Seeing this vid makes me miss my 8th gen. I had a 2011 Accord V6 . I modded it. Aftermarket catback exhaust , LED lights everywhere inside and out, tints, 16-17 Accord Sport rims, trunk spoiler , hot ram intake … I should have gotten an aftermarket display for CarPlay … ya car looks clean tho
My 8th gen, I did an aftermarket sway bar, the turns are WAY better, did a K&N cold air intake, and some aftermarket tail lights. I bought wheels but I leave for basic in 13 days so I haven’t put them on. Don’t when they getting ruined while I’m away.

@@BigBrownPimpsta all the screens work with the navigation just people don’t want to share the information. You can buy that screen and have it work I have navigation as well and the yes the buttons work but you will not need the navigation menu as that screen will be placed behind the android unit hopefully this helps you 🙏🏾
Im 17 and I have an 08 Accord LX. I want to learn more about cars and also fix up my own car while I’m at it. Currently I need new wheels and brakes and that’s my main priority at the moment. But I really do want to mod my car and make it look clean like yours. Keep up the good work man

some modern LED headlights and taillights will make it look like a brand new car, i got u-bar headlights for mine and it just completely changed the age of the car and made it look like it just came out of production. best part is that they are extremely easy to install by yourself without having to pay someone to do it for you. keep the build going tho bro! represent the 8th gen

Just joined the club if you will, bought an 09 coupe 3.5 in it has the automatic transmission, moon roof and after market wheels. It’s been very well maintained and garaged so it’s in really good shape but it has like 237k on it. Paid 4k for it and I’ve gotta say I should’ve gotten one a long time ago. Seems like they’re trying to put 4 cylinder engines in everything, so long and short if it is if I can keep it in at least as good running, I could see replacing the engine in 4-5 years…the way insurance and everything else is going I’ll be money ahead

Loved the video! Quick question though. I’ve been having trouble finding a screen that goes with the Nav version (EX-L), and yours seems to fit. After going to the ebay link i’m seeing that in the photos of that product link it says it doesn’t work with the Nav models. Was there anything you needed to do to work around this? Because when I had purchased a similar screen and tried to get it installed, I was told I got the wrong screen. Please get back to me, thanks! 🙏🏽
Hey brother thank you🙏🏾 the screen will say it doesn’t work with Navi models but it really does. All you have to do is take off the trim around your Navi screen and leave it plugged in behind the Android one

Wassup bro hope you are well, if you want to lower your car then you will need to get coilovers or springs. I recommend coilovers because you get adjustability. Springs cost $150-200 and coils are $500-$1000. The coils I got were 600 and springs I did before were 150. Spring installs cost a lot. you won’t find anyone to do it below 400 and coils are more expensive but are cheaper to install. It replaces the entire shock system. Pros to lowering your car- Looks Handling Adjustability Cons- lowered on coils None🤣 maybe sounds louder on bumps
Wassup bro to swap the knob buy one that says m10x1.5 and then once you get it will go right on where your old one was. If it doesn’t go directly on then you will need to use one of the 3 fittings that will come in the pack with the shifter and it’ll go on clean.

Was the car play headunit easy to install? I have been looking into them and have not purchased them because on the eBay posts it says not compatible with the cars that come with built-in nav, which mine does and I saw that yours did also. Was this any issue?
great video! i just got some nice jewel lights installed on my 11' accord exl. i thought about doing coilovers or lowering springs (what option is better?), tint, carplay, led tail lights and some other mods. i dont feel like its worth doing exhaust or any engine mods on my 4 cylinder.
Id say coils because of the adjustability✊🏾 they ride good and aren’t annoying and the only way I know this is because my mom can still sleep in the car😂 For engine mods I understand you I didn’t want to mod mine until I researched more about the kseries

I’ve put in two separate screen in my 2005 accord and both just died. Idk if they died but the ly both just stay black and don’t come on with the car. Mine looks exactly like the one you have. Idk if I just have a bad one or what
I have an 08 bought new. my right front window not working from tje master control on drivers side. Also tje brake, ABS and VSA lights are on, how could I fix it? thanks
Check whatever fuses control the window and if it still doesn’t work then change the module. And for the abs and everything I would look at your brake fluid if it’s low it can trigger the light and if it is not then a bad battery could be making them come on 🙏🏾

@@connorz6050 as long as they are the 18s they come off any g37 and those run from 08-13. You can find g37S wheels which are 19s but look for the 18s that have the same spoke design as the 19s and you’ll be good
I'm planning on getting a 6th gen accord as my second ever car and I just want to know what's the most important thing to do first on it maintenance wise?
If you get the v6 or 4 cylinder maintaining it is easy. For the v6 (j30) then timing chain will be your only big problem but it is hard for them to go bad. If you have a i4 (f23) then nothing to be honest all you need to do for either motor is change oil every 3k miles, spark plugs when needed, and drive. Best of luck brother welcome to the family
@@maxcastelan3551 1. 17’ Accord reason is because has most tuning capability 2. Acura TL same tuning as the accord but tops out at 120 governor can’t be removed with ktuner 3. 09’ v6 accord reason I have this low is because it gets the j35 that is very restricted and has an eco mode
Should I get an 03 accord or a 2015 sport? 03 got 76k and the 15 got 86, 1k price difference and the 03 is cleaner outside and inside but it’s stock everything. Seems absolutely to sum to get the 2015 sport but it’s tuff for me fr
it really depends on you brother if you like the 7gen look over the 9gen. I like both but if you want to build one for racing go 03 it offers a better motor in the k24 aspect and v6 if you go 15 you can get a good k24 but no power mods unless you do v6 but it is heavy.

Welcome to the family bro! For the 9gen you can do a rv6 PCD, ktuner, intake and that will give you some power. For aesthetics you can lower it on coilovers, and keep your stock wheels or get different wheels and enjoy it

They come off the coupe from any year g37 I believe. You can get the coupe s wheels which are 19s or the non s which are 18s like I had. I found Mine on Facebook marketplace, just type g37 wheels 18 and see if you find that spoke pattern 🙏🏾

Wassup bro hope you are well, if you want to lower your car then you will need to get coilovers or springs. I recommend coilovers because you get adjustability. Springs cost $150-200 and coils are $500-$1000. The coils I got were 600 and springs I did before were 150. Spring installs cost a lot. you won’t find anyone to do it below 400 and coils are more expensive but are cheaper to install. It replaces the entire shock system.

Wassup bro to swap the knob buy one that says m10x1.5 and then once you get it will go right on where your old one was. If it doesn’t go directly on then you will need to use one of the 3 fittings that will come in the pack with the shifter and it’ll go on clean.

You just need the k24z7 tranny if you are already a 5 speed the shifter was the same for me

Was the car play headunit easy to install? I have been looking into them and have not purchased them because on the eBay posts it says not compatible with the cars that come with built-in nav, which mine does and I saw that yours did also. Was this any issue?

great video! i just got some nice jewel lights installed on my 11' accord exl. i thought about doing coilovers or lowering springs (what option is better?), tint, carplay, led tail lights and some other mods. i dont feel like its worth doing exhaust or any engine mods on my 4 cylinder.
Id say coils because of the adjustability✊🏾 they ride good and aren’t annoying and the only way I know this is because my mom can still sleep in the car😂
For engine mods I understand you I didn’t want to mod mine until I researched more about the kseries

Speaking of mods, was your 8th gen stock manual or did you run a swap? My '09 EX-L is auto, and I'm pretty sure they didn't make any sedan variants in manual for that trim.
It came manual with a 5 speed. From factory they made a good amount I believe but it’s harder to find a clean one

I have an 08 bought new. my right front window not working from tje master control on drivers side. Also tje brake, ABS and VSA lights are on, how could I fix it? thanks
Check whatever fuses control the window and if it still doesn’t work then change the module. And for the abs and everything I would look at your brake fluid if it’s low it can trigger the light and if it is not then a bad battery could be making them come on 🙏🏾

You have to buy a set of g37 wheels they can be the 18s or 19s then paint them with 3 coats of primer then 3 coats of bronze

@@connorz6050 as long as they are the 18s they come off any g37 and those run from 08-13. You can find g37S wheels which are 19s but look for the 18s that have the same spoke design as the 19s and you’ll be good

I'm planning on getting a 6th gen accord as my second ever car and I just want to know what's the most important thing to do first on it maintenance wise?
If you get the v6 or 4 cylinder maintaining it is easy. For the v6 (j30) then timing chain will be your only big problem but it is hard for them to go bad. If you have a i4 (f23) then nothing to be honest all you need to do for either motor is change oil every 3k miles, spark plugs when needed, and drive. Best of luck brother welcome to the family

2. Acura TL same tuning as the accord but tops out at 120 governor can’t be removed with ktuner
3. 09’ v6 accord reason I have this low is because it gets the j35 that is very restricted and has an eco mode

Should I get an 03 accord or a 2015 sport? 03 got 76k and the 15 got 86, 1k price difference and the 03 is cleaner outside and inside but it’s stock everything. Seems absolutely to sum to get the 2015 sport but it’s tuff for me fr
it really depends on you brother if you like the 7gen look over the 9gen. I like both but if you want to build one for racing go 03 it offers a better motor in the k24 aspect and v6 if you go 15 you can get a good k24 but no power mods unless you do v6 but it is heavy.

Welcome to the family bro! For the 9gen you can do a rv6 PCD, ktuner, intake and that will give you some power. For aesthetics you can lower it on coilovers, and keep your stock wheels or get different wheels and enjoy it

They come off the coupe from any year g37 I believe. You can get the coupe s wheels which are 19s or the non s which are 18s like I had. I found Mine on Facebook marketplace, just type g37 wheels 18 and see if you find that spoke pattern 🙏🏾

I bought the Android head unit and it slides right infront of the nav once you take off a couple of the plastic pieces where the nav sits 🫡
