My all electric Kia Niro, EV 2022 was $12,000 off after federal and state rebates and incentives ($4500 CA/ $7500 instant discount for leasers). So instead of leasing it as if it was worth $44,000, I was leasing it as if it was $32,000 making my monthly payments only $300 a month for three years. Charging is a learning curve, but it’s way cheaper than gasoline, and sometimes even free. After a few years of driving an EV, you mostly stop using DC fast chargers unless you’re on a road trip or in a hurry, because you realize you don’t need them. AC is everywhere and often free.
This show is pretty lame. Not much different than walking the dealers in Stevenscreek avenue.
And charge $14. I can go into a dealer and look at cars that I am interested in.
Yes. And you can test drive the vehicles at the dealership unlike these auto shows.
"Speaking of fuel efficiency, here are the electric cars... " Literally the only cars there that don't take fuel
Not directly, but don't be fooled. The energy has to come from somewhere. And the majority of that is still fossil fuels.
@@krane15 Ooh wow. The wisdom.! What do you call this place? Earth?
Dont go. All the cars are locked. Whats the point?
They don't want you to see how just much more plastic they are this year.
Yea, whats the point then. Thanks for the info. I was going to check it out but not anymore.
Did u ask why their locked? Isn't it suppose to be open like the one in sf?
Wait. I saw another news clip that shows people sitting inside the show cars. So perhaps specific makes and models have their cars locked. I can see why Porsche and Aston Martin don’t let ppl sit in their cars
OH YOU SHUT UP, BRIAN THE TRUMPSTER FREAK!!!!!
Is this one you carjacked?
2:09 It seems that Tesla will be present, something not common.
Funny how this news clip failed to even mention Tesla. I was there earlier today, Tesla was jam packed.
Does this news station also send reporters who know nothing about fire to cover fires?
First, they don't get to chose their stories. And second, reports are experts on reporting, not on the item or subject of their report. To your inference however, yes, they can do research, and some are better at it than others.
"Fuel efficiency definitely top of mind" says the lady about the 3-row SUV only sold in America lololol okay lady
Cognitive dissonance.
I’m in the business and still laugh at people who buy an EV thinking it helps the environment.
True, but we've got to start somewhere.
@@krane15 in twenty years when there are millions of dead EV batteries it will be an environmental disaster. So EV is not the starting point.
Literally all ev cars that no one wants
