FYI, a smith machines barbell is usually only 15 pounds instead of the standard 45 pound barbell bar. So he didn’t really bench 345, it was more like 300... which is still really impressive.
Pushups work great for building a chest. Decline, decline wide, diamond, and the endless variations. Then did other calisthenics for arms, back, and only lifted weights when squatting, farmer walking, and deadlifts

Thanks for making me not feel inferior or lazy for not looking Like Mac does working out an an hour a day 4 days a week juggling overtime at work, continuing education/self improvement, social obligations, and paying for all the necessary stuff helps. I wish folks like The Rock, Ryan Gosselin, Chris Hemsworth and so on would be honest about the advantages that they have even if only to hedge against the potential for toxic positivity in the messages they put out.
