  • Is high inflation affecting Serbia? Let’s find out in our new shopping and eating movie. We will show you supermarket and market prices. Show you restaurant prices in different cities from Serbia like Nis, Sokabanja and Kopaonik.
Is eating out expensive or cheap? We bought some regular groceries and show you the prices so you can compare this with your own country.
To our opinion the prices are higher in Serbia than in other Balkan countries. Eating out, especially in touristic places can be expensive (still cheap comparing it to the Netherlands 😊) .
Seasonal fruits are cheap like sour cherries for only 1 euro per kilo or fresh raspberries for 4,25 euro for 500 gram.
Food on the street can be a little bit cheaper like buying a pancake at a stall for 250 dinar. Fruits and vegetables are often cheaper in the market. Eggs are about 20 dinar per piece in a supermarket and 14-16 dinar at the market.

Kopaonik is one of the most expensive places in whole of Serbia. Non-touristy, southern Serbia is usually much cheaper than the rest of the country.

@@metalpartiez You're welcome. Also, a suggestion if you're still in Serbia. I would recommend you to visit the Tara national park in the western Serbia, nature is absolutely amazing, or Stara Planina (Balkan mountain) in the eastern part of the country (there's a very nice little town nearby, Knjaževac). And if you're interested in some lesser known, budget friendly towns, Valjevo is probably the best for its unique 19th century preserved architecture.

@@Djura567 Thank you very much for the tips! We are traveling to Kraljevo now. From there we will visit Bajina Bašta / Бајина Башта. From there we will try to get to Tara, or at least Konjska Reka Коњска Река lake/jezero.

@@metalpartiez Again, you're welcome. You'll probably see the medieval castle of Maglić from the road, the views from its top are spectacular, but unfortunately there was a huge flood and the bridge leading to it was destroyed, so i don't know if it's accessible anymore. Also, make sure to visit the medieval Rača monastery next to the Bajina bašta, it's incredibly beautiful. Safe travels!

@@VisionofTomo You might like to travel to Prilep and Krushevo too. We made a vid of both. Also I can very much recommend staying at Antika Guest House in Prilep. The guy who runs it is called Hristian (christian). I still keep in contakt with him. He is a nice and intelligent guy. Skopje is not so great in my opinion. Bitola is ok also.
