Purple Rain is a movie of its 80s age. It's a "rock film" that became the template for a lot of musical films to come (think Eminem's 8 Mile....). It was hilarious to see your reaction....lol...Yeah, Purple Rain is corny in certain parts....but it's a classic film that broke a ot of ground (got good reviews, too....). You def. had to be there....lol
