I loooooove him. My favorite loyalist chapter and my favorite Raven Guard space marine❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love his brother that bested the Eternal at the same level of coolness
Nykona are good also
Victorus aut Mortis! 🐦⬛
Same here
Same, just got the GW Kayvaan Shrike Mini doing it right now...then i have my corvus from FW
Tau: think they scored a major win by killing the Raven Guard chapter master.
Raven Guard: Get a better chapter master as a result.
So does anybody understand how they actually fooled a chapter master who would've certainly studied the enemy before just jumping to assume a leader, not to mention that tau have an American style command structure so killing one guy is not at all the end. Has he not dealt with Iff before? How did tau fool what is a hundreds of wars warrior?
Another reason I don't like tau, they just win, even the raptors, the raptors did nothing except make a landing and then fail to do anything the entire campaign, they also didn't have air superiority which should be standard for Astartes as that's the only thing that can effectively pin them.
@@tarektechmarine8209 She (Commander) Shadowsun, took advantage of the innate fault many Space Marines have.
Hubris, their desire for glory. Pragmatic as the Ravens are, the chapter master gloated and took enjoyment at the idea of killing Shadowsun. So when he lorded over the decoy he slayed, the real shadowsun appeared into a Ghostkeel battlesuit and got him.
Shadowsun isn't some nobody commander. She's a disciple of commander Purtetide, someone who mastered the art of the killing blow and the patient hunter. Shadowsun favoring the patient hunter and Commander Farsight (another disciple) favoring the killing blow.
And no the Tau don't just win any more or less than any other faction. They're frequently the whipping boys in official artwork
@@shirghazaycowboys yeah, no, a raven guard chapter master, the very same guys who will drift from out of solar system for weeks just so they can get recon. Also, what does art work matter, like I stated 200 raptors, the very same "KILLING BLOW" like marines that did nothing important the entire campaign through. Lore wise tau just win, I'm fine with astartes losing but not so easily.
Space Marines are just as likely to be like the Avatars of Khaine. They are a challenge for a main character to overcome and since they are a main character they will. Like I didn't mind when a Primarch can take down an Avatar but a regular marine?! Anyway, it all comes down to plot armor and what the author wants to say
@@tarektechmarine8209 the author decides who lives or dies, biggest example is how Custodies are portrayed, in one book they’re clueless canon fodder or in others they’re shining paragons of the Emperors finest craftsmanship
If the Great Crusade had badasses like Nykona Sharrowkyn. The 41st Millenium has Kayvaan Shrike.
He reminded Lucius why hes a bitch.
Damn I need to read up on 30K Raven guard lore, I have no idea who that is
@@unruly_ronin Nykona Sharrowkin almost kills Fulgrim with a sniper shot to the head, defeats Lucius the Eternal in single combat TWICE, and manage to secure the Sangprimus Portum (the primary component in developing Primaris Space Marines) from Mars
Sharrowkin, best character in the HH!
He's HIM@@unruly_ronin
Shrike proves that the Raven Guard continues to upholds their Primarch ideals and traditions, and it’s because of him that the Raven Guard it stand against the enemies of mankind.
Glad to see Kayvaan Shrike getting some light by the Remembrancer. His deeds need to be remember by the civilians of the Imperium.
That much of his deeds are unknown and unremembered by mass of humanity is a testament to his skills and prowess.

Its just how the Raven guard are
RG and Salamanders were two legions who treated your average citizen the best and it all stems from Corax
The white scars and the raven guard together is a scary combo.
Raven Guard, Salamanders, and Catachan make a pretty cool team up too 😊.

I genuinely think Shrike's story would make a perfect introduction to the 40k universe for the so called ''wider audience''.
It was his origin story, in a white dwarf magazine during 2007 that got me into Warhammer.
Shrike was the chapter master the raven guard needed. The chapter was growing insular and isolating itself under Severax's watch. Though his rules as of 9th edition on the table have been lackluster, i still do my best to want to field the shadowed avenger. It is natural for Shrike to doubt himself about his worthiness of Master of Shadows. Many of the chaoter masters come from the 3rd company and many fallen into the trap of being too much of a frontline combatant, eschewing the trifold path that corax laid down for them.
The raven guard strike out across the stars with renewed purpose and vigour under the eyes of Shrike, and perhaps there are signs that the raven will rise further given that for the first time that i know of: a generic transfer sheet (that being the one in Leviathan box) has raven guard specific transfers on it
-5:25: Hearing "the Death Beakies" said in that serious voice was the highlight of my day.
"Wherever you tread, tread lightly. We are closer than you think, and our blades are sharp." - Kayvaan Shrike
Pretty badass and very very underrated Chapter and chapter master one of my favorite
I liked that original quote in the end. Wise words
Boy oh boy, the reaven boys have the most cool art works out there
I watch a deep dive video about Space Marine Liebowitz or Tau Commander Whosis, and I go around for a day saying, "Oh, yeah, THIS guy is the best." And then I watch another video, and the vicious cycle continues. But I have a soft spot in my heart for underdogs, and the White Scars and the Ravenguard live there rent free. Thanks for the education about another THIS guy! Great job!
I NEVER get tired of this intro cgi/anime stuff 🙌🏻
As a Raven Guard player this is amazing thank you! Makes for great listening whilst painting.
Raven Guard!: VICTORUS AUT MORTIS!
The emperor protects !!! Was having a shit day then saw the notification can't wait !
I wonder what a Raven Guard - White Scars hybrid Astartres chapter would be like?
Stealth fighter jet bike
It's like an Ork painting their vehichles purple and red.
*Cannot Compute*
Seriously though, that would be one skilled chapter. I love the Raven Guard as they are my favorite chapter, and while I never really got into the White Scars, I do respect them. Every marine would be the equivalent of a fighter jet. 😂🐦⬛
The 1st. The Dark Angels. 😉
Edgy Mongolians
Victoris Aut Mortis! Love the Raven Guard, one of my favourite Chapters. Speaking of the Raven Guard, could you do a video about a Second Founding Raven Guard succesor Chapter, the Raptors? The Raptors are… well, reasonable. They do not engage in melee combat unless necessary, prefering to take out their enemies from afar. Unlike many other Chapters, the Raptors do not care for glory and fame, often using camouflage and hiding their Chapter emblem. They make use of extensive scouting and surgical strikes to cripple their enemies. This often leads other Chapters to frown upon them, but the Raptors do not care. For service to the Emperor is its own reward. I would love to see a video about them. Love your content, keep it up!
Ironic that JoyToy have just announced Kayvaan Shrike as their next figure.
You really out did yourself with this one..19th legion has always been my favorite. More Raven Guard please!
The only one I could accept getting Shadowsun's head before Kor Sarro Khan lol. cant wait to get that JoyToy they just put up for pre-order of him, gonna look nice next to the Kor Sarro on my bookshelf
Good vid thx for this Tribute to the raven guard and at shrike ❤🎉🎉thx for partage remembrancer ❤🎉
I’d argue he is the coolest chapter master currently active
He is cool but lets slow your roll a bit there 🫠
Agree 100%
I am a raven guard man but Dante is greater

Death Beakies. Love that name
I just so happen to be painting Mr Shrike tonight. Right on time my man, excellent as always

The Death Beakies 😂
Had to rewatch this Master crafted video. Even on a second go, it's still so good
Right on time, they just made a 1/18 scale figure of him.
Seen it......Wow!
”Find pride in your own strengths, as there is no shame in acknowledging your talents". I thank you for that.
This channel is excellent, you have a great voice for 40k!
Nice work remembrancer
Loved this, and that was one hell of a conclusion at the end. Raven Guard are my favorite for a reason, honorable logical ninjas of the 40k world.
In modern military parlance, the Raven Guard would be considered "Force Multipliers".
Hail the XIX!
Hail the Raven Guard!
Hail Corax!
Hail Shrike!
Many thanx Master Narrator 👍👍.
Love this… well done as always.
Honestly, I’m thankful for this video because I’ve been wondering how did the other Legion chapter masters come about and who they are what they’ve done to become their chapter master, respectively, and in all honesty, the Raven guard was one of the most curious ones mostly because it just made me wonder like how do you how do you become worthy of leading an entire chapter when you have to practically be the best of the best of the best and I was wondering if there is either an alternative or a different method of judging who can lead an entire chapter what is a pretty good example of what it actually takes to lead a chapter can’t wait to see more videos
God, I love me some raven guard lore!!!!
Your the best ! As a new person to the Hobbie. Your lore videos have been an incredible help for me. Thank you!
Finallyyyyyy.......as a Raven Guard fan, it was about time!!! Love this channel!!
I love this guy. I'm still glad they gave him a bad bum model
His intro feels like he about to become the next Robin for Batman.
Picturing an Astartes being stealthy and clinging to the shadows is hilarious to me.
It makes me think of one hiding behind a tree, but the Astartes is considerably wider than the trunk and is spilling over the sides, yet NO one notices him.
HA! The pre Astartes boy would avoid his Astartes trainers!!! Straight LEGEND!
As always 110% great work. Keep it up.
We need a vudeo on Sly Marbo if you havent done it already lol
I can’t wait to finish painting my Shrike and finally field him in a game, he’s so cool
Cool character...seema like some one who goes through a lot of adventures but no one knows
Rewatching for the algorithm
I don’t even play the game but I love the lore through your story telling and by far my favourite chapter is the RAVEN GUARD 🙏🏾📌
We need a new chapter master
Who we choose?
How about strike? He has great hair
Good point
Pure Ninja Master.

I really do need to build a Raven Kill or boarding Team 🤔

Whoa, dude looks like his dad took him to the city to see a marching band.
JAAAAA i love him and his gear is amazing

I wanna see the Birb Guard fight the Many Head Snek legion. I wanna see a sneaky boi war.
RAGE ON MY BROTHER!!!
FOR THE RAVEN LORD!!
VICTORUS AUT MORTIS!!
Of course it's the Chapter Master of the depressed marines that thinks he shouldn't be leading the chapter due to low self esteem
im far from a true fan of warhammer and all my knowledge come from yt (and like 250 pages of the founding) but something about Raven Guard just pulled me right in
Oooh I got his story with a Humble Bundle Space Marine compendium. His vendetta with an Ork who loves to tag the places he claims.
Can you do kardan stronos please?
Can you do chapter Master tu'shan next in honor of tts
11:52 Tau infiltrator in the bottom left hand corner! Marines do not shoulder their bolters.
Is that my boy Feirros at the start?
Has there been anything else about where and what Shrike has sent the Raven Guard companies that's mentioned in their codex?
If there has been I am not aware of it
Do the white scares know that those demon prince can be summoned back
The ninja's of the 41st millenium
Damn! Im a heretic for not knowing this chad existed.
Aye, what a marvel he is! For me, him and Amit are my fave 'regular' Space Marine characters, it changes though 😂💪
Does anyone know how old he is
Strike and fade. Cheers Remembrancer.
It’s not a phase it’s a lifestyle
One of the few pragmatic, practical and organized chapters, but then again, if you're one with common sense you're like the poor joke of everyone else in Warhammer universe. reminds me of one of their sniper chapters, the "Raptors", they work efficiently but are considered as honourless and cowards by the wider imperium... they would view the YEET tactics more honorable than tactics that yields in lesser casualties in this universe, it seems XD
I’m still new to warhammer, but it seems that just how GW works when comes to advertising the franchise since most people love the crazy brave armies that just charge in blindly. Don’t get me wrong the legions that have gottten attention like the ultramarines, dark angels, and blood angels have proven why there the front line chapters and their primarchs ofc have achieved feet’s that are remarkable. However, I rather learn to be self sufficient even when I don’t have that many resources which the raven guard excel at.
@@linkdancer3890 it's because they mainly cater to the western media where something of a 'Hero' is shrouded by plot armor, so is an almost immortal (or always returning) villain, think of it this way, the reason why this setting is so convoluted is because they have different writers in the same universe. As well as for you to create your own Homebrew lore /faction / whatever it is under the universe you think of... 🤣
@@linkdancer3890 nevertheless, welcome to the warhammer fanbase! I hope you enjoy being a part of this :)
@@shimazutakuma1031 it’s been interesting so far, it’s just the armies I like seem to be the ones who get shitted on a lot by the fans and the company itself.
@@linkdancer3890 it's like that huh? To each their own i guess... but remember this, if the faction/army you like is sensible then most likely the warhammer universe is against it, but that's what also makes it cool! I hope your favorite army gets a cool limelight! Or go search for a book for them if there exists one!
👋👋👋
I love Kayvaan, but I would so much have like to see Corvus singlehandedly annihilate Shadowson and his whole damn company in the process...
Heheh. Death "beakies"
I love my emo bird man
It never made sense to me how the Ravenguard could ever be stealthy in power armour.
I feel like a Raven guard codex should have them wear lighter armour, but harder to hit than your average astartes and can move through difficult terrain.
They are stealthy for marines. They aren't ninjas. Think more rapid strike than lurking in the shadows.
Before we got the Phobos Armor which is the armor suited for stealth.
The Raven Guard favoured the MK6 Power Armor which like the Phobos of the current setting had less protection but produced less chattering noise and more maneuverability.
Other than that the Raven Guard also have those who inherit an ability similar to Cirax where they become invisible to the naked eye, back in 30K they were known as the Mor Deythan.
Since the opening of the Great Rift Kayvaan reinstated the Mor Deythan after learning about these Astartes who gain Corax' gift of invisibility, 4 members in total 1 being a Knights of Raven.
Had to laugh when he was given a Cockney accent.
not every chapters glory is obvious some chapters glory is more subtle but no less impactful
Damn a primarck got owned by a tau SMDH big L
It’s all fun and games till the emo kid gets mad
