Webster County is one of those places that you know about but never care enough to go to. It's just a bunch of Whelens that do wail for a minute every Saturday, nothing exactly to write home about. That is, until an ex-DAEC analog 4004 pops up out of nowhere! This replaced an Eclipse-8 at some point in the last year or so. As soon as Tristan and his dad recorded this a few months ago, I just had to give it a try. I have always wanted to hear an analog Whelen in wail, as I've only ever heard alert and fast wail. I coaxed Connor and Dylan into coming with me as well, so that made it even more fun! Right at noon, it booped to life. We were hoping for full wail, like it did when Tristan and his dad went here, but unfortunately it only did the regular one minute test. But it was still awesome! Definitely worth it! Thanks for watching, and enjoy!
Webster County tests their siren system every Saturday at 12 PM, weather permitting.

DAEC never dies
Wait is this Ex-DAEC?
WOW! IT IS!
Glad to see linn county is donating the excess DAEC whelens. To bad non of the older DAEC sirens are still around out there to my knowledge
This wasn’t donated. It was taken out of service by Frontline when Linn County replaced all of theirs seven years ago, mechanically refurbished, and then purchased by Webster County. There is another ex-DAEC Whelen in this county.
I'm glad to see them not being scrapped
@@mnsirensahhh ok least they ain't getting scrapped
holt shit that sounds really cool, awesome video!!!
Great to see them not being scrapped. Request all tones when?
That won’t happen. This is owned by Webster County and they are really picky about their system.
@@mnsirens that's unfortunate.
@@TheCasualSirenEnthusiastI live here, they are insanely picky about their sirens.
