I didn't realise how nice the area around this mobil directo was. The google street view is pretty gloomy, but on this video it's surrounded by a lot of nice greenery!
@@carolcanada6340 As is visible, the siren in the video is powered by an elecric motor. However, If I remember correctly, this specific unit used te be powered by a gasoline enigine but got converted to what it is now.
Somewhat incorrect..only the first BN prototype units had Federal rotors. The later ones appeared to have been patterned off of the federal units but were not made by federal
@Mike1693_tsmlover No, that was a decision made by both Milwaukee County EMA (the party wanting replacements) and Sheboygan Warning Systems (the party replacing the sirens).
Great video!
In my opinion, this siren has that Sentry rasp.

I like it
Juicy recording 💦
AND HE EVEN GOT A DRONE SHOT 🗣🗣🗣
Nice bro
I think this was installed in 1964 because it looks way older then Yorkville fire stations mobile Directo
And a month later it failed to do Alert go figure at least half of a test is something, nice video
Is it the same as a ACA Allertor 125?
The Mobil Directo is the Allertor's predecessor.
@borkluchtalarm wait does that mean it is similar to the Allertor 125 but it has something different
@@carolcanada6340 Yes. The Allertor is an updated version. Mainly the rotation system and rotors/stators were changed.
@@borkluchtalarm is it gas powered or electric and is the thunderbolt 2000 always gas powered

I don’t even sound like Yorkville either
More of a rotational Fedelcode than anything else, really. 8-port Directos had their rotors/stators sourced from Federal Electric.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks!
Def needs new bearings
Has been like that for a long time sadly. Doesn't really matter a whole lot though since it's getting replaced with a T-128.
@@BusMaster99 Really? That's boring.
@@V.G.F. Yep. Everything except for the Hurricane is getting replaced. I stopped filming Milwaukee just a month before that decision was made.
@Mike1693_tsmlover Why do you think he's stupid?
