Thanks for making this video cause I am struggling with the 2 tracks classical orchestra or classical piano. I am an opera singer recording my stuff at home. Would be great after this video you show how you master the same track :-) and get it ready to be uploaded for streaming services like soundcloud...I noticed when going into the master stage the L2 limiter isn't limiting anything when I hit the 14 LUFS when I crank the volume up it goes way above 14 -

What's good my man, thanks for reaching out! 1. For this specific compressor, these settings work for the sound I'm going for. It's a taste thing rather than technical. Also worth noting, I'm typically only tapping this compressor (no more than 3db of compression). 2. I'm not using the limiter on Ozone. These settings may have just been a preset, but they're not actually doing anything.
its tough to hear the A nd B when its switched on the note change. I would be able to hear it better playing the whole progression or bar. I like to hear how its affecting the second note as well especially the bass. nice job though.
Can someone please clarify this for me. So if I get a 2 track beat that is too loud, on Logic Pro can I select the beat then head to the Region section and turn down the beat with the gain there rather than using the fader
