out of my 5 years of engineering records at different studios I can still say I've learned the most crucial tips from youtubers like this who barely get any views, crazy. Definitely using this to mix a youngboy record I'm working on🔥
Umm I think it’s still a bit much , more sound than feeling to me . Plus it’s hard to put the bass in a mono field when you have that two track stero mix . Most people use a transient shaper
Do you know of any songs that have done well that used a 2track beat instead of the full track out of the instrumental? I'm curious. I know it's supper important to have the full tracks but producers charge alot to to own the beat out right so it's hard to pay for the stems of a beat and release the song just for someone to swoop in and buy the beat completely and own the copyright to your song
I think you’d be surprised how many big trap hits were mixed with a 2 track. Its not ideal, but many times you don’t need to flexibility of the track out to make it sound good
I don't touch that section. Linear phase doesnt work very well with low end and causes pre-ringing. I would just leave it at the default setting which I believe is just zero latency. Natural Phase should be a good option too, but honestly, what setting you're on is kinda overthinking it imo. The setting will not make or break a mix. Good Luck!

Dope ! I use the promb splitter and sometimes mess with that or gulufos with it from 22-60hz or up more to see what it does
I you want to refresh tonal balance control and insight you need to deactivate and active so the plug-in to show the new sound.
Man u´re dope! great tips!

I use them all the time
Isnt that going to introduce phase bc of the cut?
It can so be mindful when cutting!
this is awesome!!
You are awesome
great video buddy
Thanks 👍
What type of subwoofer do you recommend dude ??
For this type of processing, it would be better to set the pro-q3 to natural phase or linear phase instead of zero latency.
