I also ordered a Topeak Explorer rack (the most minimalist of this kind of rack by Topeak) which works perfectly with the unit. And, I agree with you - I think the rainproof cover should come standard with all of these TrunkBags! I ended up buying one online for $24.95 plus something like $7 for shipping (no tax for my state via Todson Bicycle Distributor in MA). But, the main compartment of these TrunkBags is great for storing your food and additional drink as well as bike tools, innertube/patches, wallet, keys, cellphone, etc. Thanks for the video - good review!

I like the way you can still use the side pockets by just cramming in whatever without even pulling out the drop down bag.

the only drawback about the topeak mxt is its so easy to steal it from your bike,it would have made sense to put a lock on the front clip on.

Is it insulated?
No, but it will keep your drinks cool if you have them iced down. I use a plastic bag of ice which worked pretty good. Thanks for watching.
My Topeak MTX trunkbag DXP is excellent, but I would never set it onto my car because the risk to the finish is too great.
Doesn't your rear-end hang over the saddle onto this bag? I'm also a full grown adult and it seems like there isn't much to keep this from happening.
No it doesnt. While I am riding never once hit it.

The bag is very good but zippers on it are poor quality. After only two
years of using the zipper broke and the bag is useless now.
