Our publishing company loved this show so much we published two business books (Change Management Lessons From Downton Abbey and Leadership Lessons From Downton Abbey). Both books use stories from the show to illustrate business lessons. Good job receiving the BAFTA!
Of course, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa's performance was incredibly gorgeous and moving, but another thing stood out to me about her. I always instantly love and respect a singer who immediately urges for their musicians/ accompaniment to share in the applause. CLASS ACT.
The most disappointing thing about the episode she appeared in was all the dialogues where they discussed her singing like it was unbearable and that it sounded enough like shrieking that it hid Anna's screams 🙄
3:17 that was a GREAT, FANTASTIC trailer for the show. Hats off to the editors for that. If any of you want to introduce a friend or family member to this amazing drama, I would say show them that trailer. It's a shame it's poor quality. If anyone knows of a better quality clip of that, please share it with us!
That was SO good!!!! So amazing to see them all together and so clever and funny with Maggie Smith and Lord Crawley doing their skit at the end. AMAZING. So very witty!
wonder how many seconds it took them to decide to put that song into the program. Dame Kiri is amazing, but it reminded me of anna's rape. i skipped it entirely. :/
@@organboi They all had 3-year contracts regardless if the show was a hit or a miss. His contract expired and he opted not to get it renewed. It's not his fault they killed him. Blame the writers for completely writing him off the show.
@@organboi They originally signed three year contracts. Dan Stevens chose not to renew. I can only imagine, that someone who was suggesting legal action, could only be an American - because an actor decided not to renew the contract when the time came.
#YvonneIwonaD @ITV Surprised to know it was on BBC1 Not so in Britain. It's on Independent Television in Britain. You've made a mistake. This is owned by and shown on ITV . BBC are good at period drama, but this one isn't one of theirs.
Downton Abbey ran from 2010-2015. It's a bit late to be holding back information for a show which finished 9 years ago (or 4 years ago given the date of your post).
"Barrow deserves a documentary all on his own"

Downton Abbey, the movie, DID NOT disappoint. I’ve seen it twice.
Disappointed me I was so bored
Everytime I finish the 6 seasons, I just start watching all over again. Can't wait for the movie sep. 13.

Believe it or not, I binge watched the whole series 20 times.
Maggie Smith and Hugh Bonneville were just superb together... acting genius!!! Then the musical genius of Dame Kiri!! What a fantastic night!
3:18 - 4:55 the music makes me well up every time I hear it.
Wish I was English 😢
I was crying and my enotions were having a roller coaster ride.
We need more tv like this!

One of my favorite shows of all time.
Hugh Bonneville and Maggie Smith have to act together again
Maggie Smith with Shirley McLaine gave a master class of acting.
She’s dead

What’s the song?

All the creative team that compose this project is brilliant. Perfect!

Maggie Smith is my fav actress of all time! I adore this woman!
The scene of mary crying with Carson consoling her over what happened to matthew always makes me cry
Extraordinary actors and actresses.. love from the Philippines.

I watched every episode this past week I thought it was PRICELESS. Didn’t hurt the ladies are “babes” too... 🥰
That last scene gave me chills
Dame Kiri Te Kanawa a brilliant New Zealand Opera singer was asked by Prince Charles to sing at his wedding. I never forgot that.
Thank you so much!!!
The opera singer is triggering memories about what happened to Anna in that scene 😭
i love lady Mary soooo much

Host replaces his "Rs" with "Ws". The Elmer Fudd Wascally Wabbit school of enunciation.
It was a big success in France too. Why? because it is fucking good! because it is british. They are the best!!
OMG thank you for sharing!
Will there be other parts of this soon
+Josh Chaney Yes, part 2 is uploading and it should be up soon, there will be 4 parts in all ")
+ElizabethMcgovernForum My wife thanks you much!
+ElizabethMcgovernForum thanks
Josh Chaney eat shit
Waiting for the movie.
Only in the UK could Barry Kripke be an emcee and a star!
I *do* hope you're joking.
He's awesome in his own show.
I can't get past Matthew's death. I'm finding it really hard to get through season 4 lol
Correct. It was just too much. Bad choice. Dan Stevens should have been sued first, rather than allowing him to leave. What was that all about?

Wish they didn’t have the laugh track on and just allowed the real audience reactions be the sound.
Beth Campbell seriously annoying
When is the movie out I so badly need to see it
I am, can’t wait
Can’t wait
Did Robert James Collier attend?
Am I the only one who is reminded of 'Mr. Bean's Holiday' listening to the opera?
Quand je vois tout ça, j'ai envie de chialé c'est fini 😞
I love 💕 it... Beautiful English, BBC one :)

It was on ITV (Channel 3) nothing to do with the BBC
Look at the top left of the screen, you see the ITV logo
Lol Loved this
¿Porqué no lo subtitulan?
Lady Mary🤗
I know he is a popular host....but I can't with those R's !
You should give a SPOILER WARNING. This is not for people who haven't seen the whole show.
organboi lol! Oh, ok.

What the heck is the matter with his pronunciation of ‘r’?
♡
to think that the downton abbey tv series ended without the family and even her ladyship know that miss o'brien was the reason of her miscarriage
👏💐❤️
It’s a shame the host wasn’t Michael McIntyre
johnathan ross spoils this programe
Me me me me 😍😍
I wish he could say his R’s it is painful to listen to.
