That was funnnn and def had some food for thought for future anthurium mixes! I have some tree fern fibre but haven’t tried it with anthuriums at all!

At the 31 minute time when you place the mixture from the little bin and stick a cutting into the mossy mix, no moisture is added. Is the mix already moist? How long do the lids on the cups stay on and how do you know when to water?
The mix is already moist :) I pre moisten my moss before I use it and keep a lid on it to keep it hydrated. The lids get opened once a week to check if I need watering and to air out for a couple of minutes. Sometimes I will tape the lid on - leaving a crack open to allow for more airflow if I want to transition it into less humid conditions. I know when to water when the moss is drying out but for rooting purposes - I generally keep the moss moist most of the time :) Thank you for watching 🌿🌟
So did anyone else notice that as she is mixing her Hoya/Aroid mix it looked as if an elongated black skinny creature on the inside of her tote or was it just me?

So the Hoya Mathilde splash is different from the splash/silver? I just ordered two of these from 2 different sellers and one has much larger leaves than the other and they both really have no silver on them. Hukana plants has a h
Mathilde splash that had the silver on it so now I’m confused
It’s most likely more mature or has been in lower light. Splash and Silver are 2 common names for the Mathilde with silver/splash on it 🤍
It's the same plant! I often see variations of the same name.
Silver, Silver Splash, Super Splash, Super Silver Splash... some sellers just add extra words to make it sound fancier!
The only difference is usually between the regular Mathilde, versus the "silver"/"splash" which typically has a LOT more silver on it :)
