dude, it's totally a Speedmaster competitor. Not to say you can't love them both, or own both! But if someone is looking to buy just 1 luxury watch, these would totally be two watches they would compare. They're both chronographs, around $8-9k, from solid brands. Both are the respective icon of each brand as well
What? The only similarity is that they are both chronographs and both are tool watches. Navitimer has a slide rule for calculations and the speedy has a tachymeter to measure speed and distance.
@@charp150 seriously you don’t see any similarities between 2 sports chronographs by a couple of mid-level luxury brands? You think 99.99% of the population is actually using the slide rule or the tachymeter ?
@@charp150 I think you're missing the forest for the trees. Are they two different watches? Of course they are. And if you have a large collection there is no issue having both. But for the vast majority of people (who might only buy 1 luxury watch in their life), these two are definitely similar in the ways I stated in my original comment.
I keep looking at the Omega mentioned in the clip, i still end up concluding I made the right decision FOR ME to have bought the Navitimer. I bought the black dial. Happy birthday to me!!!🎉
The short lugs give this large Watch a modest footprint on the wrist. So you could pull off the 43 but 41 would be better maybe anyways as that’s hardly a small watch and the same size as a new Sub for example. I even tried on the 46mm white eyed blue which looked sick on the strap but the enormously wide 24mm bracelet was just too overpowering. Overall a great striking piece and some crazy nice dial colours. The black looks the most iconic or course but the others are more summery and playful. This one was a little too shiny and illegible under harsh light or sunlight. Great movement. Maybe I’ll go for the 43 black afterall on the strap.
Having a real hard time deciding between 43 vs. 46. I have 7.75 Inch wrist so I'm inclined to go with the 46, but I want a watch that I can also wear to business meetings and still look professional. If anyone has similar size wrist as mine can you share your thoughts? I have an older Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean that is 45.5, which I have worn for years and love. Trying to switch things up and try something different than say the Omega Speedmaster Racing at 44.25. Last year I brought the ORIS Big Pilot Day Date which is 44, great watch but the quality is not what I'm used to. 43 or 46? Thx!!
The relatively short lug to lug of 48 for the the 43mm makes it very suitable for even wrist like yours at 6.5”. Looks completely fine on your wrist.
The problem with the 41mm is that it doesn't come in the reverse panda dial like the 43 and 46.

@@stephen9609 99% of the population isn’t using any complication on any watch. I’ve never found the Navi and the Speedy similar any anyway.

I think you chose wisely because that is a stunning watch in that colour👍
The 41mm size is best size in the new Navitimer line. The proportions are better and it’s closest to the feel of the original Navitimer.
