- Hi Folks, a tutorial of one of the greatest hymns ever written. It's timely, since the Feast of Atonement (Yom Kippur) is upon us. This is the day when I personally believe the Judgement Seat of Christ begins for those that belong to Y'shua. I'm not looking for a Biblical debate here, this is just my personal opinion. I hope you find the tutorial useful and encouraging:

Nothing But The Blood of Jesus is a traditional American hymn about the blood atonement and propitiation for sin by the death of Jesus as explained in Hebrews 9.[1][2] The song was composed by Robert Lowry, a hymn writer who was a Baptist minister and professor at Bucknell University.

Love this type of guitar picking, Wish I could have watched it 70 years ago might have made something out of myself.. Most of all I want to thank you for keeping your channel clean seems like it keeps getting harder and harder to find anything to watch without all the foul language now days. This is indeed a beautiful tune. Playing guitar with a pick is also a beautiful sound on steel string guitars. The idea of the slow pick is great, learning after this tutorial is a great chance for a lot of beginners…Best wishes from Austria…👍👌

Great video Randy. And that's a very beautiful song. I wish I still had the control in my picking hand that I used to. You played it beautifully. Oh, got that saddle made yesterday and adjusted the truss rod back. It is now set up and ready to go for years of playing. I'm going to work on making that rosewood insert, to temporarily replace the adjustable saddle in my Texan, so I can put in a normal saddle. Can't wait to see your next video too.

Hi John, you’re right, I do very few 5 minute videos 😂. It never even crosses my mind about you not getting over here quickly. People have lives and time is a bit of a commodity these days, so don’t give it a thought.
As far as singing goes, I’ve been thinking about doing a song for a while now. I think it’s coming at some point. I was the lead singer in the first two bands I was in, but that was a long time ago. It really needs to be the right song, or I’ll lose subscribers 😂. Be looking for it, my friend.
