That is a beautiful arrangement, I'm not very familiar with either of these Christmas songs so I can't really be sure which one it is, but it sounds great with the boom chick fingerstyle it has a great groove, very well played Randy and I agree with you about TH-cam it's great to interact with people all over the world to share music, thoughts and many other things besides 🎸👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I think The little clip on tuners was one of the Best things ever made for most all musicians. When I started picking we had to tune by ear. Tried to get it in tune close as we could. When some one got a new guitar every one wanted to try it out, Some were very good guitar pickers some were about like myself but the first thing they all would do when you reach them the guitar was start tuning it. I was Just thinking back over the years and wondering if any of them got it right or were they just sending a message to the other picker that they thought they could not tune a guitar. Wish I could pick like you but after all the years I know it aint going to happen. Every one Was not cut out to be a guitar picker. Merry Christmas Randy and all your family

Kinna off topic but my rd318 is plays way better since I lowered the saddle and worked the nut a little. I bought the ibg hummingbird to with the #23 !!..Ya know boss a person can really miss out if he doesn’t set his guitar up to its full potential..Anyways thanks brother for the videos..

Randy. This is your Ft Worth watcher. The pick guard on my Epiphone J45 knock off must have the thickest pick guard
ever. Talked to my luthier about a swap to a thinner guard. Luthier thinks guard isnt hampering resonancy and a change would offer no appreciable improvement. Do you think a swap would be cost effective.Could you email me your opinion? Thanks.
Hi Arthur, it seems to me that it would make a difference, even if slightly. I think the physics of it says it would. It might be slight, or it might be more than slight. Either way, it changes the vibration, which impacts sound.
