Imagine being a froggy stumbling around Paris some night and your buddies bring you to this club where you hear Black Sabbath for the first time.. and maybe you don't even know English.. then stumble home and wake up about noon and go WTF was that? Life Changed! How many French folk had to drink 2 espresso the next day to figure out what they saw.. and later years maybe realized what an epic show they saw... so good.
Also man the audio quality for a live performance from 1970 .. it's insane .. whoever mixed and made that vid (movie at the time) was a god. The whole concert is fire.
At the same time Chicago at tanglewood (just one song) th-cam.com/video/7uAUoz7jimg/w-d-xo.html is amazing the same way .. live.. and sound so good and the live is better than the studio.
    cheers mate..

The drummer is Bill Ward. For another oldie raw powerhouse performance, check out Grand Funk Railroad's Inside Looking Out. And for something just dropped, check out Liliac's live cover of Metallica's. Master of Puppets.

I never heard of grand funk railroad until the simpsons when Homer was asked about his favourite band. Man that`s a great band

Try Fairies Wear Boots from the same album - there is a live video from the same concert too. Liked your description of their sound as 'authentic' - that pretty much sums up our scruffy heroes.
Bill Ward (the drummer) said it is one of his favourites.
We also have Geezer Butler on bass and lyrics and Tony Iommi (the maimed god) on guitar.

Another great Black Sabbath song to react to is “Supernaut” from 1972. It’s probably their most aggressive song.

Back when I ised to attend record fairs there were so many bootleg copies of live sabbath concerts. And no 2 were the same as ozzy would sometimes forget the lyrics and make them up on the spot.

Try Sabbra Cadabra and Symptom of the Universe.

Cool reaction bro. Check out "Holy Wars" by Megadeth. That's proper thrash metal 💪🏽
