Hey PleasantKenobi how do you feel about Scarecrows? They are my first and favorite tribe because of how bad they were before we got all these tribal commander decks printing staples like kindred discovery. I know all the power of the deck is Reaper King, but destroying something as strong as a rhystic study by playing a 3 drop 1/1 is so much fun to me. They also have some of the best flavor text in the game as a tribe combined. Yes I only play true scarecrows, changelings are for cowards.
I’m a Wizard tribal player and I don’t think we deserve to be let off the hook here. We like to bring solitaire spellslinger combos to casual tables and call it a “silly tribal deck”.

Ah Merfolk. I played magic a bit before llorowyn, but my blue white mill / lifegain merfolk tribal deck that I rocked during Friday night magic cemented me in to the hobby. Good times.
There’s still a fair amount of cards for that kind of horde style. As Vince said, army of the damned exists, but Diregraf colossus stands out as a ridiculous token generator. Cryptbreaker doesn’t quite churn out tokens, but it does incentivize you having a lot of them. And Ghoulcaller Gisa will make stupid amounts of them. Vast majority of the tribe’s focus is definitely graveyard shenanigans though.
@@charliemallonee2792 There are a fair number of token generators headlined by the truest of "zombie horde" cards in Endless Ranks of the Dead, but that's not exactly what I am getting at. A lot of tribes can mass produce tokens, but the thing that makes elves unique is that "elves beget elves". I am not advocating for zombies to suddenly start producing mana like elves, but I'd prefer more exponential growth cards that snowball like Endless Ranks of the Dead in favor of big mana, explosive cards like Army of the Damned. If you go watch some of the old Commander Vs. Halloween episodes they play against "The Zombie Horde" deck. That is the play style I would prefer zombies emulate.
