- To admit karma means to accept yourself as a mortal being. Do not admit you are a helpless mortal governed by karma. Affirm: “I am a child of God. I am His.” That is the truth. Why shouldn’t you proclaim the truth?
As soon as you realize this truth, your status is changed. But when you admit you are a mortal, you bind yourself with the chains of the mortal being. You are the sons of God; you are gods. How could karma influence you? Refuse to be bound by karma; it is an old superstition of the ignorant to believe you cannot change your destiny.

While Autobiography of a Yogi is available as an audio book ,I don't think his other books or writings are, so it's wonderful you are doing this.

Karma is thought to be the result of previous actions because it is stored in Atma which is said to be the silent witness. That means Atma observes our actions without commenting it and that means it is the storage of our Karma, which rules the reincarnation of Jiva (the spirit of a being).

The Infinite Individualization of God is the Soul, and this false sense of being we call "life" is experienced by the Soul, for the Soul. Every human living entity has its personal Karma without any exceptions...but a few have not binding personal Karma which is dissolved at the moment of death....of Nirvana state .
