Question on service plans and official MG garages, When I bought my car is was with stonarce in Nottingham who where an official MG garage but now they are not and the MG garage is now a different garage. I also took out an service plan with stonarce at that time, but as they are not the official garage now for MG how does this affect by MG and cover etc like the AA and the fact can stonarce still do MG software updates now they are not the offical MG garage for nottingham, or is it best to talk to the new offical MG garage and arrange a new service plan with them?
A burst brake hose will nly cause a loss of fluid, hence braking, on one half of the system. The brake fluid reservoir has a fence which separates the reservoir into two compartments. So, if one compartment drains, the other half retains its fluid. Thus, the only way there would be a complete loss of brake fluid would be if one or more hoses were burst on each circuit - e.g. if the rear axle was totally torn out. But I guess if that happened, you'd have bigger problems 😜
I bought an MG ZS EV Mk1 in Australia because it was the cheapest EV but I really would have preferred a car the size of the MG4. The Mk1 has been excellent. In Australia there are now three small EVs at A$39K. I have driven the MG4 and it is brilliant. However, it does not have 360 degree cameras for parking in the base model. I have opted for the basic Good Cat because it has 360 degree cameras in the base model and I and my wife love the funky two-tone interior. I am a senior and I feel the MG4 is more a young man's car with its black cabin and "fast" looks.
Really appreciate these podcasts 👍
Miles is a great advert for MG dealerships - very impressed.
