Hey guys great topics discussed tonight. I’m an MG4 SE std range owner. I understand there’s some concern about range during colder climates for the MG4. One thing I think needs to be pointed out is MG4 is rear wheel drive, it uses more friction so it’s inevitable ZS and 5 get better efficiencies. However, having driven all 3 models, the MG4 is so much better to drive. It’s a trade off, but I’m excited to see what the car does in summer months.
just watched sept to dec over last few days ordered mg4 se sr in black 27th dec could have had in 2 days but collecting on 3rd jan, striaght in for ceramic coating, so might get it back wednesday night thursday dinner,
Have had the facelift MG5 Trophy LR for a month almost. Looks incredible and feels incredible inside and out. On the road it rides well, accelerates excellently and is very comfortable. Love the MGi Smart app and my ability to check on things. Initially I had to do an airport trip which turned into a nightmare, not all the MGs fault. With preheating underway available mileage dropped off markedly and I have learned what you need to switch on and off to do the mileage you intend.on this trip I was intending to recharge 2/3 way to airport but the services were blocked. Barely got to airport had to leave son and grandson to own devices for an hour an half to find a charger sufficient to then pick them up and hope the fast charger at Knutsford services was available. It was and it took an hour to give me enough juice to get home (90 miles). That said just done return trip in slightly warmer weather with 199 miles full charge.... not yet been able to get more than 210 miles. Could’ve just got back without charging. Mileage much better, did charge at BP services ( ultra fast) and took coffee and breakfast bap to give me 90% . Ride home was great. Infrastructure on current evidence is still rubbish.
Sadly, this has just become an old man's chat page with holiday notes and inaccurate assumptions based on hearsay and lack of knowledge. Yes, there is some value but too little. The one expert has difficulty countering the barrage of what-ifs. Sharpen up please.
@@CastleKnight7 yeah we'll all follow like sheep like the British always do there's big money being made on evs and the average person won't be able to afford them thats how they will get people on public transport and that'll never work

Zs ev availability, MG response for that why not have an mg4 or mg5. Well neither are an suv and don't fit some people requirements.
