Yup it works. The trick to keep it sharp is to always clean it at the end so no food stays on and dry it off. If it stays damp when it’s put away, the blades will dull fast. Also buy on with replaceable cutting blades instead of those cheap ones that you have to throw the the whole thing away.
It works, but you are better off spending the cash on the restaurant version that has existed for decades and is all metal and won't just break on you one random slam...

They still have to cut an onion with their hands to make it fit into it. @@victoriavictoria3941 I do as well. I used one of those devices for quite some time, and they do work. Then my knife skills got better and I am able to do it faster by hand. Mainly, because I don't have to wash the chopper. Just the cutting board that I would be using either way.
@@Scotty_J. I learned to chop oignons as a teen when working in a restaurant s kitchen ... so it takes me only a few sec to get it chopped and I love it!😄
My husband used one of these while he was a cook for waffle house over 10yrs ago. I would cut an onion faster than he would using this utensil. They still have to cut an onion with their hands to make it fit into it. I was raised in a family restaurant so once your knife skills gets better you can cut Vegetables quicker than it takes to use this gadget.
