      As a ukrainain I can agree, but sadly in the same it matters who yells it.
      You can't help but link both words when you see people with actual nazi symbols on them, screaming those words that sound similiar to the word "nazi"
      And generally there does exist an unpleasant background in Ukraine in regards to nazi worshipers.

      The Ukrainian military, who have been trained according to NATO standards, tell journalists in an interview that the benefit of this knowledge in real combat situations is close to zero. Because Ukraine does not have air superiority. Coming under enemy fire, a Ukrainian soldier cannot call for air support. Minefields lasting many kilometers. And it is not the Taliban in slippers and on mopeds who are fighting against Ukrainians, but a technologically equal opponent.

    • @joblo341
      @joblo341 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@AndreyRadyukov I agree, your points about lack of full NATO arms and different army are valid. Ukraine can't fight all NATO tactics because as you pointed out they can't set the initial condition, air superiority. I've heard the complaint about NATO traininers being clueless about the extend of russian trenches and minefields. That IS a failure of NATO leadership for not coming up with new doctrine to suit conditions in Ukraine, and for not fully informing the instructors on the conditions in Ukraine and likely questions they would be facing.
      But, there are lots of other things, tactics that Ukraine could/should adopt against the russians. Ukraine has already seen the Soviet style "meat" / human wave attacks don't work. But attacking russian positions with combined artillery and small units does work. Giving small unit commanders discretion gave them the breakthrough and advance in Kharkiv last fall.

    • @AndreyRadyukov
      @AndreyRadyukov 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@joblo341 NATO instructors cannot teach Ukrainians how to fight effectively against Russia. The military doctrine of the NATO countries is designed for war with a deliberately weaker enemy. In a war with which there is no front with a length of 1000 kilometers. Against which, most likely, an offensive air operation will be carried out first. Where hundreds of American planes will destroy any resistance of enemy troops. And an American soldier will enter enemy territory when there is practically nothing to threaten him. This attitude to war among NATO soldiers and officers is formed from the moment they enter military service.
      The Russian military is initially preparing for a war with an equal opponent. Land battles with which will take place on the fronts of thousands of kilometers. Since throughout its history, Russia has fought with Sweden, Turkey, Poland, France, and Germany on its western borders. Russians are good at fighting in this type of war. Unlike NATO countries, which are initially preparing for a different type of war.
      You have watched Hollywood films in which stupid Russians arrange "meat" attacks. In reality, Russian officers are trying to protect the lives of their soldiers. You can see this by remembering the Ukrainian offensive a year ago near Kharkov and Kherson. Where the Russian troops retreated. We lost the occupied territories, but saved the lives of soldiers.
      The use of artillery and small units is a tactic of the private military company Wagner. With the help of which they captured Bakhmut.
      The Ukrainian army has no superiority in artillery over the Russian army. Therefore, attacking with small units, Ukraine lost more than 60,000 soldiers in three months and advanced several kilometers. Not having achieved the goals of their offensive. Therefore, Ukrainian tactics can hardly be considered successful.
      The success of the Ukrainian army last year near Kharkov was due to numerical superiority from three to twenty times. And the lack of prepared defensive fortifications of the Russian army. As the Russian military say in their interviews with journalists - "Near Kharkov, the Ukrainian military had to try harder to find the Russian military. Because the distance between the nearest Russian units could be several kilometers of unprotected territory."

    Was thrown unto this episode automatically after some other Ukraine coverage, so would not comment on anything besides one moment which stood out to me because it involves Ukrainian language I'm a bit familiar with.
    I am a lithuanian, with quite a bit of Russian around me, and now with refugees, Ukrainian too. I'm not fluent in any of those,
    but familiar enough to point out that greeting/slogan/shout "Слава нації!" is not a n.... saying, but literal "Glory to the Nation!", as ukrainian word for nation is "нація" and it is used in dative case in the slogan. So I believe it'd be a misunderstanding to interpret it as showing allegiance to that disgusting ideology. It is a saying from a nationalist worldview, as it involves the concept of a nation of course, but can be used by all sorts of people and does not contain radicalism in itself.
    In my language "nation" has couple of words at least and one of them sounds identical to ukrainian one, including the damned sounding consonants.. Wouldn't raise a brow in any circles however.

I have seen some interviews with people from D/LNR (in Russian and Ukrainian, barely any know English) and for the most part it's either the same stuff you'd hear in Russia from Russian soldiers, people who are pro-Ukraine and in hiding, and the last bunch who are scared shitless and are hiding from the draft. Two of those 3 above will never show their face unless they're already in Ukrainian controlled areas because the security service in the D/LNR is very vast and people have been killed for treason due to the things they say online (unlike in Russia or Ukraine, the D/LNR still practices executions). Keep in mind that most of the people I've seen interned are civilians so their stance will be a bit different from that of soldiers.

      DPR is an anarchist state. It's even worse than any poor region in Ukraine or Russia. If you say at least something that's not close with idea to these people, they can surely execute you or at least make you silent.
      In terms of this war, it doesn't matter as Russia already mislead 500 times with it's goals. Occupied and murdered regions that don't relate to DPR or LPR what so ever.
      It was clear from the beginning, that it's a war with territorial gains and not some "liberation". Almost any type of weapons were used, except nuklear. Lots of casualties and lots of soldiers were used by russian goverment. If you think that around 200k - 1M soldiers is low, than you are clueless. It's a really big countity that can only compete with WW2 period. Very weak ideology of russian liberation on neighbour territory during peaceful era.

    25:30 - Yup, the US armed anyone who was willing to fight the Soviets during the Soviet-Afghan war, not caring how extreme they were and then only to have to go in there a few years later to try and disarm them again (and from how that war ended actually only ended up giving the more up to date weapons).
    Glad to see this guy address it so honestly.
    I mean it could mean a few things though. I don't think the US government haven't taken this into account at all. Why do you think the hesitancy in supplying more and better modern weapons? Arm them just enough to beat this enemy and not too strong so we can take them easier in the future.
    Well, if they do have to go in there at a future point, luckily I am too old to be conscripted and far enough away to probably not have my country be involved. And if they do expand conscription's age range like Ukraine did now and I might just be so ticked off for having to go in and help clean up the US' mess that I might go out of my way to sabotage it. Might make me crazy enough to do things like mentioned at 16:26 Like to the point where pride in my country gets overshadowed by the stupidity of what they are getting involved in.

      Even in the Afghan war the USA armed Ukrainian Nazis to fight the Soviets, you can find photos of Yaroslav Stetsko meeting with Mujahideen in the Oval Office.

      part of the big WACL-ABN cluster of Nazis used to fight anti-communist conflicts that came from the USA absorbing the Nazi's Eastern Front intelligence arm to form the Bundeswehr under Reinhard Gehlen (and the Wolverine terrorist units used to execute strategies of tension in the USSR).

      The "hesitation" has only be because they want to DRAAAAG it as long as posible with less as cost as posible.
      Olygharch in washington know their abuse it getting more and more dificult to hide, people are at their limit, french revolution all over again.
      So their try to .ind expending, WHILE still saphoning money, why you think the budget hasnt been accounted correctly BU DECADES?
      Also, afghan fudge to get people "back in" fail, they need a NEW FEAR and a war to keep Defence expending going UP.
      Is expecially notisable when each new adition is either to counter a russian action, or when ukrain show extensive failure.
      Keep ukrain alive enough so russia can exaust itself by punching it.
      Typical proxy war.
