But still, dozens perished, communities are isolated, interstates are demolished, and to top it off, we may have seen the end of a handful of scenic and historic railroads. The last week has been hard, and the coming weeks won’t be much different. I send my prayers to those who are affected by this tragedy, and for those who will be affected by the subsequent economic disruption. In a time where we can’t afford groceries, the worst thing that could happen to increase costs actually happened. For what it’s worth, all who are affected are in my prayers.
