Honestly you'd be surprised at what's still out there. I live in Nashville and walked into Guitar Center one night and there weren't many people there. The employees were huddled around a guy playing a Les Paul that looked just like this guitar. It had belonged to his aunt, and when he wanted to learn guitar as a kid she gave him a 1959 sunburst Les Paul to learn on. Somehow it survived and sounded incredible.
It is so important to keep alive the stories each of these instruments have wound around them. To everyone in this video, thank you for sharing a small part of your lives for this effort.
Would've loved more content on the new owner and his story leading up to the purchase. That's what made the first episode really special in my opinion.
dude. you’re onto something with these guitar-delivery vids. i think bourdain (RIP) did an episode with sean, too. btw 10 years ago i was in seattle on a shitty biz trip. i came into emerald to cheer myself up cuz i’d just gone thru a bad breakup. We chatted about that. Anyhow, long story short, you let me play a burst for 30 minutes-You knew i wasn’t buying it but you left me alone with the burst. thnx brother. ps: as someone who is half jewish, i wish the new owner could’ve left religion out of it. after all, the guitar was given a name by the original owner-or the name stuck over time because the owner was, in fact, a reverend-it’s part of its history. there’s something profoundly arrogant about renaming it. i’d leave the name as is. if it was meant in jest, somehow, in the context of the video, it didn’t come off that way. My 2 cents.
You have a point - then again... it's all just fun and music at the end of the day.....one of those things in life where you can look at it from different angles and feel different things..... I've learned that usually the best assumption is to assume the best of people until they prove otherwise.
Ehhh, I got no issue, with renaming it. It’s a special unicorn type guitar, but it’s still a guitar at the end of the day, which was made to create music and have fun. If renaming it, helps him to connect with it more, so be it. He paid for that right lol. Just my opinion though. Ain’t knockin anyone else’s feelings about it. 🙌
I cant express how much im enjoying these vids. I dont think this guitar sounds as good as Bernie Marsden's "beast" but it sounds pretty damn damn great!
Make the 59 of cheese burger's? Make a burger and leave under your bed for 62 years. It will re-emerge in a pristine condition. But seriously, awesome film.

I LOVE these videos! Thank you for doing them!
Thanks for watching!!!
Somehow people keep finding “the cleanest example we’ve ever seen”
It's probably the same guitar !?

Loved the video, especially when John Osborne is jammin while his dog is snoring.
Man love these guys and watching their trips! the Reverend evolves into the Rabbi!

Nashville looks so cool. Need to come for a holiday from australia
Fantastic! Can’t wait for the next!
Love these videos!! OMG, the Reverend is beyond Mint Gorgeous!!!!
Great video!
I've learned so much from this video ... mostly there's a lot of tornadoes in Nashville
Loved this Trevor!

Thanks for Sharing
🎶 Shalom ♾️🎵
Makes me sad that the name got changed. Loving the videos though.
19.40 the dog just lays there. “I’ve heard it all before.”
I’m thoroughly confused. Who’s buying the guitar? The chef, the stoner or the guy at the end who is barely seen?
Keep ‘em coming! I’ma recent west coast transplant and gotta stop in the shop sometime, especially if you ever get some cool old tenors in!
dude.

he threw away the lineage and story of the guitar when he renamed it

I like the parallels shown between cheeseburgers and Les Paul's lol. Two of my favorite things
I must admit that my 56 year old eyes saw "The Reverend loves the bubble butt" when I read the thumbnail! D'OH!!!
Love this!
oh look - another unplayed, superb condition 1950s guitar, how lucky is that?
Every week is a '59 Les Paul giveaway? Count me in :D
I cant express how much im enjoying these vids. I dont think this guitar sounds as good as Bernie Marsden's "beast" but it sounds pretty damn damn great!
Hey guys, what amp was John Osborne cranking the guitar into ? - sounded epic
It was a cool little Harvard clone!
Wuh-huh-huh-hooow!
'Nuff said. Done. 🤙

cool ⚡⚡⚡
SB the chef seems dope
I don’t appreciate original 59 burst owners that lock them away, they’re meant to played!
Great video..shame about the new name for the guitar..
Damn, what's the deal lately that you have to go deaf to hear a discussion with the background music being twice as loud?
WHAT?
jeez
How the other half lives...
You don't change its name. Blasphemy.
So, I’m guessing the new Jewish owner didn’t want the guitar to have a Christian name? Lol.
Nice video but your mask was on upside down the cheeseburger place lol 🤦♂️
What a waste of time! I want to hear the guitar, not about cheeseburger history. 🤦🏻♂️
These films are about people and stories, with guitars being the glue that connects all of them.
