If you die however you lose everything you take in so it's incredibly tense when you get into gunfights with people, like nothing I've ever seen and the gunplay is excellent. It basically has the same gunplay as contractors which you've already played. You have to decide tactically how you're going to engage people because if you just run out into the open you're going to get shot to pieces. It has food and drink requirements so you have to either bring it in with you which takes up space in your backpack or try and hunt some down in like supermarkets or peoples houses. It also has quite a detailed medical system, each limb has health and can bleed which you have to patch up. If you get shot too much the limb dies and you have to staple it back together and inject yourself with morphine. If you head or chest dies then you die in the game. Overall it's the most tense and accurate representation of what being in a shootout with people would feel like and I thoroughly recommend it if that's something you're interested in.

Glad to hear you got over the VR motion sickness quickly. Sadly not everyone does. Not an issue for me and I'm utterly hooked, but a friend who was mad keen on the idea on the idea of VR had to give up on it because of how bad his VR motion sickness always was (longest he could manage was 30 minutes without throwing up). Admittedly he also gets incapacitated with motion sickness on relatively calm ferry rides, so if you're sensitive to it keep that in mind. He doesn't have an issue with Mixed Reality mind you, but that's still in a fledgling state.

Gaming has always been a poor person's hobby. I remember searching the bargain bin for $10-$20 games and finding gems that could be played for hundreds of hours. The ones dropping thousands on a gaming PC are a tiny minority, don't let the enthusiast voices skew your perception, VR is absolutely mind-blowing. Graphics don't matter when you're too busy fumbling a reload because a horde of zombies are coming at you. I imagine the kind of person who scoffs at graphics to be the same who never takes a toy out of the box and misses out on the joy of playing with it just because it'd scuff it up.
You can connect the quest to PC to play pcvr games you get a good deal relly I found leaving the battery's on the dock did drain all 3 battery's dead .I hand to charge them up one at a time With original charger all good now bobovr headset best buy keeps you cool
To me the graphics are subpar. I do have a gaming pc but it was only $1500.00 connected to a 55" 4k tv. There is a huge difference in the graphics. I see the screen door effect and the games in the store have large polygon count making them look like they are from the nineties. Thought I would like it better but do not.
Screen door effect basically disappeared after the Quest 2 released. You can still see the pixels though. Which is different from the screen door effect.
You'll be hard pressed to find a single company making a headset as good as this, zuck acquired the brand in 2014 so clearly hes a creative innovator and that's what VR desperately needs one huge company to invest and push the tech to the mainstream overall it's a damn good thing.

It is really a fantastic experience for movies. Great quality and a big screen feel.
Very good each lens is 4K 120hz
@@BYTltdscreens are more like 2k each. But 2d and especially 3d movies are great on a headset. 4k headsets like apple vision pro are very expensive but US$2000 ones will release in 2025
I have had big problems with Argos in the past and they refused to let me return a product. I only use them for things that are low tech so I wouldn't need to return.
I would like to see more reviews on tech related, even travel tech, that’s why we were interested in the Quest so we could d/l watch what we want onboard and not being stuck with the airlines movies
Great idea. It would feel like your own space. I recently ordered a travel bag for it so I may test that out!
A good review interested to see how the shooting goes on the meta 3
"I stopped gaming altogether....y'know I started work...lol brilliant :)
I have a full racing simulator with motion. I use the Quest 3. Ive gotten into my real life car to drive to the shops after a long session and had a similar experience of feeling like Im still in the sim 😂😂😂😂😂
That sounds epic!
Try blade and sorcery and VAIL VR it's worth it brotha vails free actually
Demeo for a board game with good multiplayer option and community. UNDERDOGS for a workout.
Bro he needs to ween into VR get him to play 20 minutes eat ginger beforehand bare feet on long hair rug and strong stable fan blowing on him for few weeks or few months and he will get into it it takes far more time for some but my friend got over it and he couldn't play for more than 10 minutes without vomiting he played in 5 minute intervals and after 4 weeks he could play for a hr and now he can play indefinitely he also would get sick with mixed reality so if my friend thats worse than yours gets sick faster trained himself to play VR your friend can
I wonder if any natural remedies could help?
Vr is my main console now and becoming my only
Gaming has always been a poor person's hobby.
You can connect the quest to PC to play pcvr games you get a good deal relly
I found leaving the battery's on the dock did drain all 3 battery's dead .I hand to charge them up one at a time
With original charger all good now bobovr headset best buy keeps you cool
Been really enjoying the game Aim VR it’s free wish they would add new maps but still a lot of fun
Been playing vr since 2016 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Home sports is much better mixed reality kills vr sickness spatial ops is great to play
If you want a hidden gem look for toy monsters a mixed reality plants vs zombie style game. You can play watch TV and rub your dogs belly😊
Now my dog definitely likes that idea..
You can play half life on your quest 😉 Look up team beef and sidequest 😊
Do you shoot at Southdown?
I'm glad you found something you like, but it's not for me. I'll pass.
Interesting. I had assumed pr0n would be blocked.
No it definitely was not!
😭 nah they literally make games for that on steam vr that you can stream to the headset if you have a pc
Butchers gun stock

Meta? Anythng Zuck = hard pass.
I dont care who owns it. I just know it is pretty cool.
You'll be hard pressed to find a single company making a headset as good as this, zuck acquired the brand in 2014 so clearly hes a creative innovator and that's what VR desperately needs one huge company to invest and push the tech to the mainstream overall it's a damn good thing.
Zuck isn't so bad. He has released a lot of free open source AI stuff.
Really good review, thanks
