Hi Friends, Today, I'm sharing my very honest thoughts on some of the most popular luxury pieces and trends I'm avoiding in 2024. Most of these hyped luxury pieces will make you look basic and are not worth your money. This is why I wouldn't buy the Loro Piana Summer Walk loafers, the LV Horizon luggage, and wouldn't use Hermes boxes around my home to decorate.

I completely agree with the rudeness. Not only do I believe we should treat everyone with kindness on a moral level, but also, it's really bad for business to be around liabilities who can ruin your reputation by association and potentially harm future deals with nasty behavior. I have worked retail jobs when I was younger. The rude customer might not remember me, but I will forever remember them and how they treated me. I own my own business now and will never tolerate any elitist behavior. Thank you for addressing this.

Agreed! So cringe when ppl use Hermes boxes or shopping bags as home decor. It's so unnecessary, and just looks kinda thoughtless and tacky.
The Hermes blanket draped over the sofa is cringe to me

I personally think that the loro piana summer walks only look on tailors chinos, suits or good quality shorts. If you want to wear it with jeans or sweatpants get your self some Jordans XD

I cannot begin to describe to you how much calculated and deliberate rudeness to staff annoys me. At LV here in Melbourne it is like a sport among some of the shoppers. It is mad really because the staff have a certain amount of power over who to sell limited items to! That is a self-serving reason to behave, true, but it does amaze me that the obnoxious people do not factor it in! Thank you for the video!

Hey G, I just recently received my customized LP summer walk charms and they are absolutely divine, they are super comfortable and as you said incredibly well made. I love the personalized touch, it has my initials and it just feels special. I was definitely not planning to wear them with jeans nor with tracks😅 My biggest ick are rude customers as well..especially at Hermes. It just ruins the experience for everyone around them..makes it really uncomfortable. Another ick is waiting in line outside any luxury store, it doesn't feel like a luxurious experience. While I don’t put effort into what others do, I can relate on what you’ve shared. Being rude is a big one for me - it makes the person being rude ugly in my opinion. It’s so much easier to be kind. Congratulations to the winner!

My biggest ick are people who look down on people who are just starting their lux journey and/or Hermés journey 😬
Honestly I don’t get “ick” on material things, I don’t really mind what others are wearing or not. It’s personal taste and I actually appreciate the differences. But your last point, absolutely! Some behaviors give me the biggest icks and I cannot past that. People losing their temper over small things, people that cannot talk appropriately or that are very loud in restaurants or other public places, I cannot stand it and I 100% roll my eyes at them.

I was in Hermès Zurich on Friday and overheard an SA telling a customer, that a Constance is also/still a quota bag. I don’t understand why, but it’s a quota bag.
Yes, I saw the video of the russian chick, who was selling the course on how to get a Birkin 😂😂 I really hope nobody buys her absurd package.
About the link selling, I saw a video of a lady in San Francisco, I believe. She flat out said in the video what her SA told her to buy in order to get the next quota bag (she has a lot of them) 😮😱 I have never heard such a story of SAs in Europe, it’s always in the US. So, I don’t think it’s Hermès behind the link selling, more like the SAs. But that’s my opinion.
Probably bc quota bags have no sales commission.
Fascinating, I've never heard of the Constance being a "quota bag" unless it's made of exotic skin. But I do know that since Hermes blew up, Constance bags are also offered on a wishlist basis. Thank you for sharing your experience 🤍

My ick is an entitled client. Some people think that just bc they can shop at certain luxury houses that the red carpet should rolled out w/o reciprocating some respect and kindness.

Summer walk charms most favorite and comfortable easy to style with any casual chic outfit. I do style with buggy cropped jeans with no problem it’s suits my mom style but mostly I wear with bermudas or dresses. People wear whatever they want and how they want I guess if they can afford Hermes, Loro Piana and Brunello they don’t really need anyone’s opinion what to wear. Sorry but not sorry.

LV has become so tacky. As well as Gucci and other brands in similar rank. Thats why I’ve started to look elsewhere and I totally agree with this video.
Rudeness is my biggest pet peeve. And, unfortunately, the type of people I often see in luxury boutiques these days tend to give of a very ... arrogant vibe, to say the least. Being surrounded by other customers who I might find unpleasant does put a damper on my own experience. I think the show-off culture is getting out of hand.

My ick with the summer charms is that I’d have to custom order them to get them in my size. I have enough shoes to dress down my corporate wear, so rude of them.
Snaps to rudeness, I have dropped friends immediately after seeing how they treat staff at dinner, it’s the worst.
I can't blame you. When I was younger I always tried to give people the benefit of the doubt, but at this point, I don't tolerate rudeness around me 🙌

1.I had NEVER seen or heard of anyone decorating with designer boxes.
2.About the shoes/ espadrilles by Loro Piana…. You would be too young to know, but 25 years ago TODS used to make the best espadrilles and some of the LP styles are photocopy of TODS….
Tried to find photos of me wearing them and couldn’t. TODS used the make the most comfy shoes / espadrilles.
3. LV carry on is very heavy and doesn’t take much! With my OCD, I need to be able to wipe and clean things that so many people have touched…. 😂😂
