they actually rejected that idea given how overdone fantasy themed glowing mushrooms are in the video game world. Still, it would look cool for a fungal cave(maybe less on the "enchanted" side, to be more realistic)
I’m honestly tired of slimes being everywhere underground. We already have slime chunks and we’ll be getting a slime spawner in the new 1.21 underground structure (which seems to be the size of a biome) Like do we really need to encounter another biome where slimes are more common?
I really wanna see some sort of mushroom biome underground, like a dark mirror to the Mushroom Fields, with glowing mushrooms and new mushroom blocks, also maybe some hostile mushroom mob
For the small drip leaf use shears, no enchants needed on them. Also if you leave the lush caves they will grow again. Another way you can get the small drip leaf is by wandering villagers. Don't forget to use bone meal.
I just looked it up, and no, Small Dripleaves do not regrow under any circumstances, not even on Bedrock Edition. You cannot bonemeal them, as that turns them into Big Dripleaves; bonemealing the caves will not generate new ones; and they only naturally generate when the chunks are first created. But you are right about using shears to harvest, and the Wandering Trader selling it.
A cave with fossils, clay pots, suspicious gravel with a new type of collectable.. i was thinking maybe you need to collect 4 painting pieces to make a unique ancient painting or mosaic.. it would be nice to have some new paintings. There could be a couple new ones to collect.. the lush cave painting or cherry tree, the warden or the sniffer, or perhaps the new breeze or bogged mobs.
I feel like a volcanic cave system is another great idea Mojang could tap into. something like the aquifer but with Lava exclusively near volcanic mountains, or a hot spring aquifer that merges some of both the dripstone caves and lush biomes with something like the caldera biomes from terralith. Volcanos are freakin' cool, and they deserve more representation in Minecraft. could be a great opportunity to add some more interactions and uses with lava and magma in the overworld, and a place to find blackstone and basalt too. and they could add things like geysers and lava plumes, which could be an exciting and dangerous new hazard to encounter. and we could find cooled lava caves under extinct volcanos, and there could be crystal growth of new crystals there (since a lot of crystals require heat and pressure to form).
Wattles I have been binge watching your videos and I’ve already finished 3 series including the superflat hardcore, the island survival and the survival lets play (which was my favourite please do something like that again) so now waiting for guide episodes is torture lol. I just enjoy your videos so much
I'd like to see quartz caves: a way to get quartz without going to the Nether but still rare enough to not be game-braking. It would also explain where the masons get their quartz blocks from...
I think a cool idea for a new cave biome could be the depths. The entrance can be found in any deep ocean biome where you can find blue holes and massive trenchs that continue downwards. These caves are massive and very dark so you would need night vision or light blocks that work in water. You would want to bring light because of a new hostile mob found in the depths that is afraid of light but attacks without any. You could find prismarine ore for an alternative way to make the blocks as well as get a lot of xp. There could even be huge sunken cities in the depths (based on the lost city of Atlantis) with new mobs guarding it, new rewards, and a new boss because the oceans could use their own official boss. This idea is inspired by the Alex's caves mod
You're really mastering the guide this time! Really diverse episodes, really good episodes, and the wattles humour makes the cherry on the cake!😇😂 PS: What is your honest oppinion on the 1.21 update so far? Maybe it would only spawn under mushroom islands or anywhere in the world, but it would have lots of big mushrooms for sure! Different kinds than we already have though, I feel like the big mushrooms we have right now would be too stiff, I would want big ones growing off the walls. :)
I wish that there was an ancient cave that had cave paintings on the wall skeleton heads and suspicious gravel and mini fossils, maybe there could be pots with loot and coal could generate there. It'd be nice if there was some kind of place you could go to do archeology that was more common than the temples or ruins. Like a smaller open trail ruins structure.
That was right up the alley of what I was thinking.. maybe scrap pieces to make new paintings.. getting a little tired of the old ones. Like you need to collect four of the same type to make a new painting. You could get it from the suspicious gravel or sand.
