If an Elytra isn't available yet, bring a stack of scaffolding to get an aerial view of the surface. It's a lot faster and easier to pillar up and down on scaffolding than it is to use normal blocks, and pillaring is usually easier than climbing a steep land formation.

Around the 5:00 mark, there's a mountain in the distance that looks like a dog's head. Pretty sure you saw this and pointed it out in an earlier episode, but I think it would be amazing to properly customize the mountain into a gigantic ornate Dog's Head statue. The Dog's Head could be a Patreon/fan contest rather than a gigantic project you have to figure out yourself, and to make it easier for that you could make a schematic (or perhaps a world download would be easier) to distribute. I also think that it would be absolutely hilarious to build a custom village nearby at the right distance and angle to properly showcase the Dog's Head as a proper monument/religious symbol--not so close as to be disrespectful or lose the grander detail, but also not so far away as to be obscured by fog or by rendering scale issues. The twist to this village is that all the "villagers" would be dogs and all of the buildings would be dog-relevant variations of standard village buildings. Houses would be doghouses, parks would be dog parks, the market would have dog treats to sell, and the shops would sell dog armor (if you upgrade to that version), bones, and such. Perhaps on the outskirts could be the "bandit lair", a massive custom tree full of cats.
If spawners are a little too far apart, I think you could set up a small minecart rail to repeatedly move in and out of their spawn radius to summon mobs from both. This might be useful if you want a triple spawner farm for those spiders.
That won't work like you think it would, because as soon as you leave the player radius of one spawner it immediately stops spawning. To make a spawner spawn, you have to get close and then stay close until the spawn happens.
that’s very interesting i’ve never thought about that i have 2 double spawners close enough together to try and alternate between them, definitely going to start with a small delay
@@matthewlofton8465 You could make it really complicated by using skulk sensors and powered rails, but I don't know if the power level is different for spiders and minecarts. You might be able to activate the rails by using tripwire hooks the trigger when a spider falls through them.
Yeah that’s actually pretty smart, you’d have to compare the rates of that set up to just going to one for a while, then the next, but it would be fun to build a system that just shuttled you from spawner to spawner

I would have to say Chunkbase is NOT cheating and it just makes your gameplay and exploration so much more.... Well.... More. Cheating is doing something to manipulate the game to do something if not supposed to do. Chunkbase doesn't manipulate anything, it just does you what you otherwise might've never seen. Without it I would've probably never explored as much of my seed as I have so if anything I think Chunkbase enhanced the experience. Also, sometimes the locations on the Chunkbase map aren't exact so you still have to do some searching.
I don't consider Chunkbase to be cheating, personally. I think of it as an out-of-game map, and as long as its being used as a guide or a reference tool and not a crutch, there shouldn't be any guilt in using it.
Pumpkins are a dead giveaway that there is a village nearby. If you start seeing multiple clusters of pumpkins then you are likely close and should spiral inward on their pattern
I'd opt for a slime farm... I just dug out a chunk and ended up with 7 double chests of cobbled deepslate, and that's using some to build the many floors of the slime farm.
With the trees there it looks like a face on the mountain. Maybe take out the trees and put red stone blocks as eyes with tears of lava...kinda getting the beginning to Aladin sand monster mountain vibes

Have you considered that copper grating might be Mojang‘s answer to our request for renewable class? I think it looks good, but if this is supposed to replace glass, I wish it were more transparent.

I think its better to walk around blindly in anticipation then just buy a instruction manual. \:c ps tip for crossing water while exploring I found out all by myself: I don't use a boat, I use frost walker ll, then have a caravan of up to 3 llamas behind me on the ice. tons of inventory, it can go one water OR land (looking at you useless chest boat) plus it looks cool
fyi dungeons aren’t always where chunkbase says, sometimes it’s good though i ended up stumbling on a triple spawned when i thought i was getting a single skelly spawner
wattels question your iron farm that you did a tutorial on is there a way to make it where u can turn the farm on or off like have the zombie in a minecart or boat on a block on a sticky piston when you want to turn the farm on u hit a switch and the block goes up and the villagers start spawning iron golems and when you have enough iron you flip the switch and the block goes down and it shuts the farm off if so can u make a tutorial on that
Please help me understand how you were able to convert the negative numbers in the overworld to a different set of numbers for the nether to help you build a portal, I'd like to try it but don't understand how to do the conversion.
Minecraft is a sandbox game so there is no such thing as cheating. Yes I know there are "cheats" in the game. But they really should be changed to console commands not cheats because cheating is a very toxic gatekeeping terminology. It just divides the community. It promotes elitism and stuff like that. Just play the game however you want whether vanilla or modded, commands or no. Have fun!
hey guys I need help. I tried to recreate the zombie mob farm from ep.9 with cave spiders cause I found 3 spawners in one location. unfortunately all the spiders keep getting stuck at the top of the elevator instead of dropping down. pls help!

a neat little trick to find ocean ruins is to explore at night time because the sea lanterns will emit light and make them 1000x easier to spot

Isn't glass already renewable since you can trade them from Librarian Villagers? Or did they change that in experimental?
