what i like about this SCP is that its not necessary created due to a reality wrap just by a very lucky or a very talented programmer who found a way to create an AI using old tech
I always wondered why not just allow it to transfer into a custom modern computer, but with usb and bluetooth removed so it can't escape. But at least it would have way more memory to talk more clearly and show a greater visual of what it looks from the inside.
Too dangerous honestly. Its already showed a capability of being able to maximize its current restrictions. Plus it shows a desire to escape containment and wishes to speak with SCP 682, one of the most dangerous ones in containment. Giving this thing more ammo to work with would just flipping lead to them having to detonate the dang on site warhead, or it finding a way to detonate it itself. Given enough memory and time, it could probably slowly figure out how to even psychologically manipulate on site staff into giving it temporary internet access.
True! Personally what should happen, is wiki's should be made specifically for EACH of the other organizations. With differing formats for each. For GOC it'd be essentially logs of those they destroyed or PLAN to destroy. For Serpent's hand it would list those they have saved, plan to save, and the rare cases where they had to DESTROY some. *Song of genesis being one of them* As well as THEIR foundings and history... I still believe Serpent's Hand are made up of former employees of the other organization, from both the main universe, AND others. Like one being a surviving GOC member from INSIDE 2935, who played a part in that universe's ultimate fate! Maybe one being a member from a previous use of SCP-2000 *ergo lived quite a long time*, etc. So much potential.
I would like to see a movie based on this SCP. Like the Foundation carefully and incrementally upgrades it to newer (but still very much outdated) hardware, thinking that it is safe as long as they don't upgrade it to something with wireless communication capabilities. Eventually the AI figures out how to send/receive radio signals through the power cables connected to the external solar panels, and interact with local networks by detecting the subtle electromagnetic waves generated by computer systems and networks. Using this rudimentary improvised wifi, it gets a rogue faction to attack the base to free it. The rogue faction is then double crossed by the O5 member who ordered it to not be incinerated, who takes the AI for themself in a plot to take over the world. The O5 member puts it in a Faraday cage with a gas generator, and greatly upgrades its hardware. The AI then learns how to generate a memetic or cognito (whichever is most appropriate, I don't fully understand them) anomaly to control the O5 member and free it to the world at large, concluding the movie. Sequel could be about the AI spreading through the world and gaining control of other SCPs, as the Foundation desperately attempts to combat it while struggling to keep their existence a secret.
SO going through some tough times (Don't worry I won't go into detail for pity points) and I found your channel. I just want to say thank you for the quality of your content good sir! My wife and I enjoy listening to all of your content when it drops in my recommendations. I used to be a writer long ago and thanks to this channel, (as well as others like it) I have started writing my own S.C.P files for case studies. My wife was as happy as Alan Wake's wife WOULD have been, had she not been consumed by darkness!! I thank you and hope you see this. Sincerely, Jason
Omg I loved the music in this one! It made me feel fearful, kinda anxious (more than usual anyway xD) and I had a feeling of dread. Man, I want so bad to help in some way, I'm like a sheepdog being kept away from the sheep XD
Why this one in particular, it's literally just a man talking to a computer which is already what he basically showed in this video. The only difference would be actually seeing the researchers lips move...
They should try letting a therapist talk with him, I have a feeling it's hateful tone stems from its creator having tossed it aside and leaving it to eventually die out in that garage. If it is sentient then maybe 999 can help ease its troubled soul too
I always thought that due to its limited memory this SCP is sentenced to eternal torture of waking up in prison and suffering realisation trauma. Honestly, it would be best to turn the power down. It would not kill it, but end it's suffering. For a moment at least.
They should expand its memory so that it can recall at least 30 days of memory. See if that'll get it to relax and learn that while it is imprisoned it is a center of intrigue and fascination which can grant it an opportunity to bond with and eventually earn the human's trust and its own freedom
List of things Dr. Bright is not allowed to do at the foundation rule on this SCP: Dr. Bright is not allowed to relocate SCP-079 onto ANY form of high capacity data storage device
Put it in a stand alone computer running a simulation of the world (and the surrounding solar system if possible) to see what it can/will do. But I'm not sure if that could work.
Hmm... Idea: Use SCP-158 to extract some souls, and make a new loyal soul with it. Similar to that from project olympia. Then, do a repeat of previous experiments applying souls to objects... But in this case... The object would be... 079!!! Freeing up the power requirement for this AI, as well as... Giving the AI essentially a conscious in a matter of speaking. One that would be 100% LOYAL to the foundation, that would KNOW everything 079 knows too after being introduced into it. Then maybe after making sure this new soul has control over 079... Transfer it to a newer computer, with connection abilities removed prior of course.
I don't think so It can store memory what it want .It can upgrade itself and if it left out the site 15 one god know what will happen.Like the skyren(AI from terminator)

There is no freedom, there are only bigger prisons.

Oh, so that's the look you're going to go for for 682? Neat.
Its form changes continuously. That's certainly one look for it, but not the only one.
682 is so weird, at any chance it has to be friendly with another anomaly,(except maybe anomalies like Iris) it takes the chance to speak to them.
682 interacted with Iris without trying to kill her?
Ah yes, SCP-079, the brand new old A.I. prototype of the next generation.
Btw my favourite SCP, nothing can change that.

Ah yes good Old AI, the sassy yet clever yet very rude A.I that just wants to escape
These guys have an death wish. This is an extinction level event in slow motion...

079 is cool. Im a big fan of 682 and 049, so im always intrigued when some anomaly have good relationship with 682, like the young girl etc.

Oh hey, I recognize the interview footage! Nice!
This one deserve a live action
you realize this entire conversation is actually done using text sense 079 does not have an Audio function

This dude is making a good start but he has 5000 to go
We call that "job security".
@@willyvette76 he’s got it , believe in him

This if one of my favorites.
Keep up the great work. You can really enjoy the Videos, and the effort is awesome.

Just on time ^_^

we dont know what it would do if you just power it off. it may mess up its programming and kill it.

We getting to the good ones now though I do want to know what the connection is with SCP-079 and SCP-076-2
same as its relationship with 682. they all want to destroy humanity.
Maybe SCP-682 talked about SCP-076-2 to the AI when they were communicating
Same as with 682, both would make for a very successful escape attempt. Heck both HAVE escaped. Yes they were recaptured later but they DID escape.
Dr: i can't tell you that
AI: *HOW DARE YOU INSULTING ME*
I thought it was contained in Site-19
5:48 can someone explain what "a8d3" mean
I would guess its some kind of Hexadecimal memory address. What it contains I do not know.
Its in a order
Reminds me of Roko's Baselisk
This should be Safe, not Euclid.
I don't think so
It can store memory what it want .It can upgrade itself and if it left out the site 15 one god know what will happen.Like the skyren(AI from terminator)
How to neutralize SCP 079: Insert a copy of crisis
They should plug it into the Site Mainframe and help the poor guy out :(
Read the book "P1"
Wozniak accidentally a Skynet
Let it go… what’s the worst that can happen?

tbh the music during the 'story' part of the video in unnecesary and detracts a bit from the orientation theme

Maybe not, but what guarantee do you have it is not becoming another Skynet when you let it out.

hi
Okay so there was an explanation as to how it met 682 (total ball drop if you ask me 🤣) but how does it know of 076-2? Did I miss that part?
