- SCP Orientation is an archive of files of the SCP Foundation.
Today we will be studying item number SCP-110: Subterranean City, Object class: Euclid.
SCP-110 is an entire city that was found buried 0.5 kilometers underneath a large farm in [DATA EXPUNGED], New York. Numerous items of high interest have been discovered within SCP-110.
A note was discovered along with the remains of the city stating:
“To those who find this document:
My name is Stephen Kolsnik. Rather, my name was Stephen Kolsnik. I will be dead by the time you read this and I was the Chief Engineer of this city.
Nobody here knows where we are.
Life support systems will go down soon; I would estimate that they have between 4 to 10 hours of function left.
To whoever finds this:
Contain [DATA EXPUNGED] as best you can. Do not follow the same mistakes as our containment procedures had. If you do, you shall regret it.”
Proceed to begin your training.

Oh man, I love [DATA EXPUNGED] New York, so beautiful this time of year
Me to it’s so great
I want more stories about this SCP, it's so intriguing. It holds so many questions, one of course being who or what is SCP-110-1?
Yeah, who was the survivor?🤔
@@evanabbott2737 Yeah, I mean the report didn't explain who -1 even was
Yes! An SCP that's an entire city?! You'd think The Foundation would have an encyclopedia's worth of information about this SCP!
@@fredashay They probably do, they're just redacting it. I want to know more about this city!!!!
Could potentially use this as a “backup foundation”
I mean it’s massive and self-sustaining...it has an entire ring devoted to housing and containing Euclid class SCP’s...
Possibly. But would you want to live inside a ring of euclid and possibly keter class scps? To answer that...O HELLLA NO! maybe if the containment was inside and people were on the outside and if there were redundant life sustaining systems not just in one central place.
@@CromeDomeOmega I was actually thinking of it just being a HUGE foundation. The various rings could be repurposed into staff living quarters, storage for safe class SCP’s, control mechanisms, etc. for containing certain SCO’(the ones that need certain things to feel secure). The environmental controls could be used to house SCP’s that require temperature and humidity to be set up a certain way, or environment.
@@emberarashi1987 true true...but there is something to be said about not making the same mistakes as they had already. I would learn all that could be learned from the city and possibly scrap the entire thing. It was tried before and failed so i wouldnt be too quick to try the same thing again
rule of thumb, don't re-populate an area displaced from its original time. If it happened once, it's entirely possible it could happen again.
@@redfinale well not re-populate as in civilization etc but as in a consolidated foundation (several smaller foundations consolidate into a larger one with better security etc)
I love how there is always a person just drinking coffee on the side.
Wait till there is no one drinking coffee
@@tdpuuhailee8222 ..... I'M SORRY WHAT
@@Johnlocked.on_bakerst i'm warning you
@@tdpuuhailee8222 Why are you warning me?!
@@Johnlocked.on_bakerst bacause... memes and jokes
imagine living in the suburb next to this thing and never knowing. it could be you.......
So, this being SCP-110... this would be one of the first documents on massive SCP group releases from a temporal or dimensional displacement.
Not necessarily. Sometimes old entries get deleted or the author takes them down themselves, leaving the space open for a newer entry.
Disappointed they didn't name any SCPs found in the wreckage, it seems like a cop-out to me
Writer might have wanted to avoid, breaking continuity/stepping on anyone's toes, by claiming that SCPs of other writers are from there. Also, the [DATA EXPUNGED] could become available later.
@@Sienisota there's not any real continuity with SCPs anyway but I see what you mean. I just think them keeping everything blank doesn't fuel the imagination like having even 1 or 2 named SCPS or even something that alludes to an scp
It's an early SCP, this one survived most of the purges, so it got to keep it's early eccentricities of the site, where they didn't explain much, and in fact, would sometimes have entire pages of redactions instead, to leave it up to the user's imagination. Basically, when this was written, the idea was to imply more than what you showed, rather than the current 'world building' we tend to see.
@@SageofStars This one does open a lot of potential connections later on.
Like someone could make a new SCP, with the origin being: "Found during an exploration of SCP 110"
@@electrobob992 I'd love to see someone write about what that scp that destroyed the city is... even as a tale about what it was like when they realized they were all going to die :D
Better than Unlondon.
SCP-752: "angry breathing"
oh
Unlondon is SCP-1678
@@theunknown5564 yes
It is more comfortable though. After all, SCP 1678 is a copy of Victorian England London, not modern London. This one has modern design to support more luxurious options. Unlondon has the bare minimum to support human life.
@@minhducnguyen9276 and it can't even do that properly
Oh what SCPs where found in the city?
Data expunged
OH NO! Not the Data Expunged!
@@Stuffman1861 sir, all the [Data Expunged] have escaped.
@@kneecaps4530 There's only only for it. We have to use the [Data Expunged].
Holy crap. You just keep raising the bar. Good for you my friend.
This one gives me major Brave New World vibes. Well done.
Oh, someone else remembers "Brave New World"! 😃
It seems this city did not last longer than one generation, since the last person was one of the designers of the city.
I wonder if it could have been self sustaining for an indefinite time, or not.
@@TheNoiseySpectator one of my favorite books. But yes, that’s true. The design of the city seems like it was intended to be indefinite but it collapsed.
Not [DATA EXPUNGED]! Anything but that!
thousands of dead civilians? This is a mega city with multiple layers and a complex tram system, it has a capacity of tens of millions at least.
This place sounds like an awesome place to explore
Note to self: when suffering from insomnia, do NOT start watching these videos. I expect to see dawn's first light in a few hours' time.
Oh neat, the entrance was found on one of my birthdays! Wait, I’m not an SCP, am I?
you're not a reality bender are you? >->
Me looking at the thumbnail: oh is this about district 9?
Me looks at title: this is fine too
Turns out this is where they found SCP-420-J
Wow, this one IS really cool!
I am sure they are develop ing a first person computer game where the player explores it. 💡
AKA!
This is a big advertise ment for an up coming SCP game. 🙄
So it was an extra dimensional city that was somehow displaced into the scp universe? Cool. Sucks that everyone died, though.
Thank you!
For a second I thought it was an unLondon file until he mentioned Newyork lol
Basically unYork :D
this city is a futurists dream
Well except for the part where a temporal displacement damaged the life support systems beyond repair and and the skips got loose.
this sounds like the aftermath of a bioshock game
I'm kind of angry we don't know anything about 110-1
Concerning coincidence:
No lie, I once had a dream several years ago where I was being given an exclusive tour of a biochem company with a logo that looked sort of like a target with arrows pointing at the center, and I vividly remember seeing a row of the machines depicted in 10:27
[DATA EXPUNGED]
These release at Texas 8:00 A.M time.
That is interesting to know. ✔️
not to burst your bubble but SCP-110 was tiny compared to the largest subterranean city located in Turkey
the only difference was that the Turkish underground complex has no power plant , shopping mall , condominium unit , etc
Shit, i've heard over and over about unlondon... But this??? Why hasn't this one been talked about more?!??! this place sounds so cool and scary.
@03:50 showing lloyds financial register building in London breaks my immersion, as I used to work there......unless.....................
When day breaks, suvivors could be moved to SCP110.
Make sure to contain [DATA EXPUNGED]!
Hey, I'd love to, but you're kinda making it difficult by expunging what I'm supposed to be containing...
We miss you, we await your return :(
Sounds like a field attempt by the minute charitable foundation to try to help
There are no SCP’s in Ba-Sing-Se
hey I know someone from data expunged new york, nice city
UnLondon wants to know their distance to them, to make sure they survive, their own way and not of the broken world above.
Ah yes, SCP-110, not SCP-1678.
SCP 1678???
You think people could live _inside Siren Head?????_
Ehm...SCP-1678 is UnLondon. Siren Head isn't even an SCP.
Not even SCP-752.
Oh, UnLondon.
That's different 🙂.
@@filiptomek11 What is that?
The zoo in the U.K. where animals from other planets just appear and disappear?
Un-NY
Btw I'm guessing this city was originally on land with normal humans and then displaced underground?
I never noticed the man in the lab coat move before
They had classes, nothing of use was lost.
You could name at least one SCP found in 110, but you didnt fail to mention (more than few times), that foundation have found many of them there...
I don't see. Why they would keep any of them secret.
I don't see why the SCP foundation would keep any of this secret.
I like the art 🎭
I’m guessing that the displaced city was probably an alternate version of the “old world” city, especially Europe (in particular possibly Western Europe, Central Europe, or the Nordic countries/finniscania), or at the very least probably not in an alternate version of the US or Canada, considering that it’s layout of the poor living farthest out from the core and richest closer to it is more often inverted for American/Canadian cities.
These release at 6am Arizona time?
This is a sad clip :-( ... All those people ... :-( ...
Qualcommm SNAPDRAGON ACTIVATE PENTAGON DEFENSE SYSTEM Activated
Its starting to feel lile the only interesting parts of the stories are the parts where the data is expunged. Maybe I've heard too many recently.
I have a theory of what that notable scp is... but im not sure...
Well, so what? _everyone_ has an idea like that.
Are you going to tell us your idea, or not?
Tell us >:/
@@TheNoiseySpectator Welp, my theory is 001, the one that ending the world... which is more than 1.. the howling moon.. maybe, the prototype, or any world ending important scp, i theorizing that because that city is come from another dimension... idk my theory is weak tho
or maybe it could be just big ol' ordinary scp. 682 (maybe)?
again. im not sure

Unnew York?
Could this be the lost cities of Atlantis
This place is like the imc facilities in titanfall 2 lol
Why would they keep this secret, from the public?
@@jackneeson591 Well, I don't see why they need to keep up the "Veil Protocol".
If I lived in a world with all these monsters and evil forces, I would & want there to be an international organization to deal with them!
It is not like they have any realistic chance of hiding something like "Breaking News" from the public.
Why not let people know about it, so they can cooperate, or contact the Foundation on a tip line, or something else helpful?
do the scp 111
hi
