Turns out Miquella has thing for half brothers
We shall treat mogh with respect
Mogh: "It should've been me, not him!!!"
I've been feeling for a while before the DLC that Mohg was being used by Miquella, not the other way around. The DLC just confirms it for me. Mohg wasn't a perfect person, but he's also not the creepy kidnapper we were led to think he was in the base game.
Miquella: I like you, and I want you. You can choose the easy way or the hard way. The choice is yours.
Radhan: We are not gonna be doing anything in any kinda way.
Malenia: Oh oh I see you choosing the hard way.
How is this not the top comment? :D
Miquella should have just chosen Malenia or St Trina tbh.
I think they made a vow that Miquella would give Radhan a honorable death
@@RavenGamingOverLordIf Radhan knew about what happened when he make that vow, being used as a sock puppet with zero to no free will and inside one of his half brother corpse. He might heavily reconsidered it.

His entire life he looked up to the two Elden Lords.

Hes basicly Madara thats Charismatic enough to charm everyone into believing the Infinite Tsukuyomi is good for them.
After fighting Prime Radhan, I understand now why Malenia had to nuke Caelid.
Read my mind dude
To think it wasn’t even prime Radhan, didn’t have half the physical prowess the Starscourge had
It wasn't Prime Radhan. It was Mogh's body and Radahn's spirit Frakensteined together. He doesn't say a word... or make any kind of noise. He's a puppet, created by Miquella.
"Had to" bruh she chose to nuke half a continent for her brother to fuck their other brother
That was not prime radahn, his armor is called "young lion" so he's definitely just a young radahn
Now I understand why Radahn had the Godslayer Greatsword in his tower basement.
holy shit that was a nice find.
Whats the connection? Isnt that the sword of the gloam-eyed queen?
@@yourtypicalniceguy there is a theory that the gloam-eyed queen is melina, and now we know that she is the brother of messmer. As a child of marika, she might have been in contact with the other demigods. Torrent being the basis, melina gave torrent to us and torrent's master is speculated to be miquella, since ranni knows who torrents master is, that goes to show that perhaps melina and radahn might have interacted at some point.
now this is all speculation, but i think melina herself has a split personality like marika and miquella, that being her and the gloam-eyed queen and melina is aware of this. (The lord of frenzied flame ending forced the gloam-eyed queen persona to finally take control, like what marika did to radagon and miquella to st. trina.)
Now, if melina spoke with miquella and radahn before, then maybe radahn knows melina and her other self, and requested the godslayer GS weapon from melina in case miquella finally shows up and confronts him."
@@blnkblnk9985 ok I get what you're saying but werent the powers of black flame stripped after the defeat of the queen as the destined death that it was tied to it was sealed by maliketh and therefore blackflame no longer holds that power.
It is also related to why Hewg is tasked with making "a weapon fit to kill a god," wouldnt the game be just about getting us to steal the godslayer weapon instead of it was capable of doing just that?
@@yourtypicalniceguy it might have been a 'restoration project' work in progress, hence it being in the basement and not on his hip
Now that Radahn is using Mohg’s body as a vessel, I find it funny that he is now kinda considered a son of Godfrey, the person he idolizes XD

Miquella discarded his flesh. That is why his body is in the Lands Between and his spirit is in the Shadow Lands
Hmm, maybe this is why we don’t find his actuall body parts? His flesh
Mogh took them back and glued them? Lol
Just like Ranni real body, that would explain the "two faces" and "four arms" thing
Also worth noting that "Miquella's body" in the cocoon shares an identical model with Morgott after you beat him..
It is similar, but not identical. The faces are different.
It's a reused model
Not really same model but close enough
It's mohg, you just bought his blood.
When Malenia stabbed herself and Radahn during their fight she was actually breaking her needle the one holding back the Scarlet Rot
Seems quite plausible
would explain why we find it both in half, and at the center of the flower in caelid
The same way Messmer broke his eye to let the Abyssal Serpent come out.
They literally fought to a standstill.
Unleashing the rot was the only way for her to actually win.
And even then, she still lost.
Radahn held back the stars. The stars are tied to fate. By holding back the stars he was preventing his fate of becoming Miquella's consort.
And also Ranni from becoming a god of the greater will. She wanted to make her own fate and as a brother he probably knew this
Interestingly, he is also a member of Carian Royal Family, meaning his own fate was tied to the stars too. Ironically, by killing him, we'll set his own fate into motion as well.
I think that Miquella didn't choose Malenia because she was an empyrean and a vessel for another outer god.
Also i think it is fair to say he did have feelings for radahn
The item description and the way he speaks of them gives that vibe
Aswell as how when you beat the boss you see miquella hug radahn as they both die
@@doolenny9458I believe it has less to do with his feelings and more with the fact that Radahn was literally the only person capable of telling him "no". Miquella, either due to being a child eternally or because he thought he should just get whatever he wants, couldn't accept that answer, so he found a way through his manipulation of his believers to reconstruct Radahn stripped of his own free will to get his way.
I also believe he viewed Radahn as a powerful potential candidate who had no problems from birth, unlike Malenia.
@@anecro well we know why he had feelings for radahn
He viewed radahn as something he wasn’t strong physically and unlike most people of thay power radahn was kind
I don’t think radahn was chosen out of strategy but love
When you defeat them you see miquella hug radahn whilst dying also the fact he faught alongside radahn at risk of himself
I also don’t believe radahn was against miquellas plan and miquella might not have even had his power over radahn since going of his rune breaking he would have lost control of mohg and while he has his grab he didn’t physically appear until the second phase of the fight
my mind did NOT understand how miquella was leaving stuff behind in the shadow realm, while also being in the cocoon at moghs palace
Yeah, he'd already shed his flesh...
Hmmm 🤔
It's the shadow realm. His corporeal form remained in the physical world while his spiritual one had separated and was acting within the land of shadow. This is why he waited for Radahn to be killed in the festival, so that he could capture and re-purpose his soul in the shadow realm.
At least that's how I think it works.
Did anyone notice Miquella after stealing your heart and saying let’s go together, stretches out his hands for yours just as Ranni did
I got why she's got 4 though, it's because she's in a custom made Marionette
But Miquella...
Did he just see her and think "She looks cool, better look like that myself, and that one closed eye? I'm gonna close both of mine I bet that looks cooler!" 😂
Edit: Granted, her closed eye is because she's a busted doll eye, you know that kind that open and close as you lay down the doll or sit her right up. Yeah Miquella, not as smart as I thought he was.
@@samf.s.7731you're glossing over deliberate character design decisions that have deeper meanings than just "oh that's broken".
Don't forget that Ranni's doll body was constructed based on her teacher. Miquella could've assumed that personality and role, pulling some strings from way, way back. Either that or 4 arms signify something related to godhood or something those have in common that we haven't figured out yet.
The closed eye is arguably even more important. Both Melina and Ranni have a closed eye and both times it is marked. Melina's closed eye is purplish as seen in the frenzied flame ending, possibly hunting at a connection with the gloam eyed queen who may have existed within the current realm of shadow. She was also in opposition to Marika, something shared with Ranni.
There are a lot of coincidences here that I'm 99% sure aren't just that. We just need to dig deeper, Miquella's godhood form is extremely suspicious.
@@anecro Miquella was born after Ranni, right? After Radagon abandoned Rennala. So he couldn't be her teacher. Also, I'm fairly sure we never see both of Marika's eyes. Could be that in order to become a god, one has to give up an eye. Like Odin gave up his eye for wisdom.

I think another reason Miquella chose radon is that its a perfect mixing of all the blood lines. Moghs body, child of Merika and Godfrey, rodan, son of ranalla and radagon, and Miquella the son of Merika and radagon, makes them the complete combinations of merikas children.
My guess as to why there really aren't that many Albinaurics in the Halligtree (if any sans Loretta) is because they probably went to the Moghwyn Palace portal by mistake.
That’s actually exactly what happened
@@Paladin_Lawbro Doesn't help it's in the same area.
Weirdly enough, while we see no living Albinaurics in the Haligtree, there are cocoons which are shaped JUST like the 1st Gen Albinaurics, like we find in the Village of the Albinaurics. So it seems that any who make it onto the Haligtree die and the cocoons are how their “souls” are transferred to the Haligtree similar to Erdtree Burial. I do find it strange that there aren’t any second generation Albinaurics there though, perhaps they all end up getting lost and going to Mohg’s portal? Or maybe the Misbegotten were hostile towards them… Who knows
I don't think it was by mistake that the Albinaurics went to Moghwyn Palace, I think they we're following Miquella's presence or something and followed him to Moghwyn Palace
And that's how that area became our go to place for farming runes in the base game LMAO 🤣
I don't believe Radahn refused the vow and actually accepted, however that doesn't mean they can't end up on opposite sides.
Let me explain, what I think the timeline looks like:
In their youth Miquella asked Radahn to make that vow to become his king consort.
I believe Redahn accepted, since his name in the final fight is promised consort, implying a promise was made, as well as the vow being honored, must mean a vow had to be made in the first place.
Now if Radahn made that promise willingly/or due to Miquella's charm is another matter.
This vow stood tall until Miquella got disillusioned with the golden order due to it not being able to cure his and Malenia's affliction.
Miquella turned his back on the golden order, Radahn stood by it and now they were on opposite sides.
Radahn now doesn't want to keep up the vow.
Miquella tries to manipulate Radahn with his charms, however Radahn due to being from the Raya Lucarian royalty has his fate tethered to the stars, so by halting their movements he can resist the kind of enchantment Mogh and everyone was under.
I believe that is the reason Radahn originally challenged the stars.
So Malenia is sent to fight Radahn in order to make him keep the vow.
She nukes Caelid in the process, but doesn't succeed, since Radahn manages to not only survive, but keep living with the help of his great rune keeping the scarlet Rot from killing him.
The tragedy here is, Radahn even in what is basically his death manages to hold on and keep Miquella's plan from succeeding, until we come along and go through the events of the Redahn festival.
The rest is explained ingame already.
Mogh gets brainwashed by Miquella and forced to bring him to Mohgwyn palace, where we kill him like Miquella wanted, becoming probably the most tragic character in the entire game in the process.
Miquella puts Radahn's soul into the body and resurrect his Frankenstein's Redahn as the Consort that was promised so long ago.
Well if Radahn accepted or went through with the vow only because he was under Miquella control then obviously he refused the vow himself
This is definitely biased by my own view about Miquella, actually not being a truly benevolent person as everything he does is self centered, even the curing of Malenia.
But maybe that vow was something different in the beginning and Miquella actually held back what it truly entails, namely becoming his consort and creating basically a whole new world.
The vow initially maybe was something along the lines of forming an alliance to end The Shattering by joining forces and rebuild together after ending the war.
Just because I believe, while Radahn definitely was loyal to his lineage and Godfrey and Radagon being his idols for the champions they were, I can't see him being the biggest fanboy of the Golden Order itself.
He doesn't use any incantations and outside his basic infantry donning the "standard" attire with his colors, literally nothing symbolizes The Golden Order in his domains, quite the contrary, he is deeply aligned with Glintstone magic, Caria and their rituals with one of those giant half bowls right in his courtyard. Not even his men use incantantions, they all use Glintstone magic stuff. I think he never intended to recreate the world and get rid of his beliefs. He also loves war and in a "Age of Compassion" there is no war. What would be his place there? That's against every fibre of his very being in addition to the fact that he has to become the consort of his "little" brother, which could have weirded him out even more.
So, I think, Miquella definitely tried to talk him into his weirdo plans some other way and Radahn realized in time and took his measures fully realizing how powerful both Miquella and Malenia were.
Also, I feel like Radahn was the winner at the end of it all. He may have been mindcontrolled in the last dlc fight, but he got to fight in his prime and truly earn his death burying his enemy alongside him with a worthy and incredibly powerful tarnished as the victor and someone who picks it up from here. After all, this is what Radahn revered all of his life: True warriors and the art of combat. I can absolutely not see him ever having revered Miquella as he is the complete opposite to that and then without any shred of honor on top of that.
@@pogd740 Yeah, gotta agree here. A "vow" made via compulsion wouldn't be a vow freely given. But it's possible a younger Radahn agreed without recognizing what he was really doing. Maybe people had a habit of treating Miquella as a child because of his appearance, and Miquella banked on that fact. Who knows?
@@pogd740 Yeah but the end result is still him accepting the vow initially.
I personally believe Radahn accepted willingly, since how would he free himself from the charm to begin with, after succumbing to it that early on.
Miquella wouldn't relinquish control if it was necessary for Radahn's compliance.
And also you gotta remember, in the beginning that vow was completely fine from Radahn's perspective if he liked Miquella.
Only once Miquella wanted to abandon the golden Order and prrsenst World itself him becoming a god could be considered a bad thing.
Radahn accepting that vow in the past of his free will isn't a stretch.
@@delta_1632 Well Miquella was pretty much on good terms with the golden order. His relationship with Godwyn and Radagon are proof that he was okay with it. So Radahn accepting the vow make sense cuz he thinks it was the "benefit" of the golden order, until Miquella abandon it all after witnessing everything the golden order/Marika had done to the rest of the lands between

I went and did exactly what you said. I even took it a step further, inheriting the frenzied flame and quelling it with the unalloyed needle after defeating both Plasidusax and Malenia. I then allowed my heart to be stolen by Miquella and recieved the "Let's Go Together" gesture. I moved on without killing The Lord and The God, finishing off Radagon and the Elden Beast. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed at Marika's body without an extra prompt for a secret ending. I tried using the gesture at Marika's feet without response. I also tried the "O Mother" gesture with the same outcome. I tried repeating both in Malenia's set of armor; also nothing to report. Maybe inheriting the frenzied flame was a mistake? I'm not sure. I'm very open to suggestions.
was looking for this comment. dam, would have been the so amazing if you could do that
I'm afraid, even if they initially intended that kind of another ending, they eventually cut it. The dlc story is self contained, it doesn't affect main game sadly.
@@Kayfear Which is unfortunately a FromSoft staple. Still, I wish they would've given us a Miquella ending, or even two - either the "Age of Compassion" would've been essentially mind control for the denizens of the Lands Between, OR we defeat Miquella and Radahn and get to convince Miquella to repair his rune for us to attach to Marika in the end. Maybe it would've had the same outcome, or maybe the Lands Between would've been enveloped in the embrace of bounty. Idk, could've been cooler than it ended up being, imo.
I more like the idea the Radahn was the one person capable of resisting Miquella’s manipulation. It frames the situation much like the 2nd battle between guts and Griffith where Guts is the one person that Griffith can’t have, so he desires him even more
Pffffff
Nope.
The lore is written by GRRM bruh
What did you guys think about the final boss of the Elden Ring DLC? Satisfying or no?
Heck yeah
Was hoping they did a bit more with mesmer though
Peak fiction.
After the specticale wore off I was very disappointed. Everything felt like it was building to Godwyn being the final boss. Also phase 2 is bullshit.
I don't like the lack of new interactions or new endings in the base game after beating the DLC. Idk, the player should be able to tell Malenia about Miquella, or Renalla about Rellana, or hell, Melina about killing the Lord of the frenzy flame? idk kinda disappointed in that regard.
also the lack of alternate endings to the actual dlc is a bit odd as well, makes it so the choices with St Trina for example amount to literally nothing.
@@Amferam literally NOTHING was building up to godwyn. Radahn on the other hand had a whole questline as build up.
Wow, I never even thought about that theory about the third ending. I am only about halfway through the DLC, but I am definitely going to test it out.
A lot of people have brought up that they wanted to see that ending. I am curious too, for sure!
We thought, moghlester
But it was instead, miquelester
I was thinking that Radahn was chosen for a few reasons:
1) His personality was kind, so somewhat aligned with Miquella's ideals
2) He has the strength to be a Lord, seeing as how the past few Elden Lords needed to be strong enough to enforce and protect the will of their Gods
3) Radahn is probably the only sibling left who isn't 'tainted' by another God. Thinking of the other demigods who still live: Malenia has the scarlet rot on her, Messmer has snakes in his head, Melina was given a task by Marika to burn the Erdtree to make way for a new order (and being without a body and may be the gloam eyed queen or inheritor of that power), Ranni is possibly being hated for killing Godwyn, and Rykard is being blasphemously digested by a snake. Mohg and Morgott were out from the beginning since they were Omen, having traces of the Hornsent in them. And the Hornsent are susceptible to transforming into man-flies and/or going mad with aggression.
Malenia going to Caelid to kill Radahn to get him to fulfill his 'vow', whether Radahn actually agreed to it or not in the first place, was also probably because Radahn was very much loyal to the Golden Order, and stuck 'holding back the stars' to do any weird 'consort to my brainwashing half sibling' shenanigans.
What is interesting to me is that Miquella's journey to creating his order started when he realised just how flawed his mother's order of gold is, but in the end, he is still treading the same path as Marika. And while Marika tried to destroy her own order, with her other half Radagon trying to stop her because he represents Order, Miquella is trying to create a new order and his other half Saint Trina is trying to stop him out of love.
Melina is also afflicted with an unknown curse (gloam eyed thing?) just like her old bro mesmer afflicted by a snake, his eye was replaced by marika. Both makes fine kindlings
Miquella the tickela 😞
This may be a crazy theory of mine, but after reading Leda's sword and what its ability can do (cure the attacked of all aliments and buffs), I think that Miquella may have finished his needle. Because if it can do that, that means it can cure Scarlet Rot. So I wonder if he couldn't do that before the land of shadow, or what if he didn't cure Malenia on purpose at some point? Maybe, it helped his plans. Oh and I just remembered, I had the thought that the Blacksmith must be one of the last Hornsent survivors. He mentions how he saw how terrible Marika was.
I was wondering about him curing Freya, before the lands of shadow..with a kiss? So wait, if he could do that, couldn't he give his sis a daily goodnight kiss to rid her of the rot? If one wouldn't be enough.. He cures a random stranger instead. If he would be unable to cure Malenia, maybe cuz she's the source of the rot, a direct link with the rot god, how about healing the lands and creatures she poisoned during the fight that he himself ordered?
Sometimes it feels like he wasn't trying to cure Mal, at least not anymore, he was only containing the infection. Until a moment he could use the rot, like with Radahn? Idk, but its a bit weird, especially since we learned he could just casually heal Freya with a kiss.
I don’t think this is crazy at all, rather it’s pretty plausible. I never even considered that Hewg could be Hornsent, so that’s a huge revelation for me and it makes perfect sense, as Marika’s guilt about her genocide of the Hornsent probably started her assignment to Hewg, to create a weapon that could kill a god. It is quite ironic she would task someone of the race she spent so much of her life despising to do so too.
Just my own thoughts, but I curing afflictions and curses are two separate things. So while it’s easy for Miquella and his needle nights to cure people afflicted by scarlet rot, it’s difficult or impossible to cure Malenia of a curse from an outer god.
He’s found a way to cure scarlet rot, but not rid Malenia the curse that gives her scarlet rot. Which is why in her case, the best solution is to halt the spread of it.
@@aaronzeezer I was under the impression that Miquella was pursuing godhood so that he could definitively stop all influence from the Outer Gods and usher in an age where only he had the power to influence people.
I would also like to mention that using Miquella's Unalloyed Needle eliminates the inheritance of the Frenzied Flame on your character(after the 3 finger ritual), which seems to be more than just it's influence, but a physical manifestation of power as it needs to be transferred or given. In this regard, I personally think he has at least the capability to partially cure or erase the effects of Outer God powers to some extent and not just halt the spread of it.
Radahn is chad. He was literally offered the world and he said no purely out of loyalty.
I don’t think he said no to Miquella but sure believe whatever you want
He ... didn't
His loyalty is with Miquella.
You honestly think he wanted to be his step mom's (Who's also his dad) consort? Then why did he march on Leyendell and clash with Morgot's forces? Or halt the stars to stop Ranni's fate?
That won't add up at all.
@@samf.s.7731Then why sent Malenia to kill Radahn?
@@samf.s.7731 Considering he was a huge fanboy of both Godwin and Radagan -yes. The reason why he went to Leyndell was because Morgot was an omen who aren't the most popular people around. If he had any intention of becoming Elden Lord, he would've done so. Radahn was the strongest demigod besides Malenia, who had no intention of fighting him at first.
@@samf.s.7731 Radahn is literally stated at several points to be a borderline fanatic of Godfrey and a fanboy of Radagon. He was obsessed with the Golden Order at every turn and even had its iconography imprinted into his armor. He was a Golden Order loyalist through and through. Also, do you really think being his brother's consort is much better than being his step mom's? Lol
You knocked me for a loop with "hawk tuah". Well played!
If we draw parallels to Miquella being Griffith (too many similarities) and Radahn being Guts (since he is THE chad of the universe and has all qualities of Guts i.e. being extremely strong while being extremely kind), it is safe to assume that Radahn must have made the promise long ago in their childhood as perhaps a part of a child's play. The problem was Radahn grew up whereas Miquealla did not, just like Griffith and Guts. Radahn chose to follow his own path while Miquella held on to the childish promises made in a much different time long ago. And just like Griffith, Miquella's mind goes completely cuckoo when Radahn or Guts says No.
How was Miquella supposed to "grow up" when he is afflicted with eternal childhood both mentally and physically? Miquella is more like a kid with benevolent intentions that made mistakes along the way, partly because he is eternally a child, rather than someone like Griffith who just wants absolute power for himself alone.
@@Ariviste Was it ever said he was forever mentally a child?
@@TrueReverse74 I'm going with the information presented i the video which does say so around 4:45
@@Ariviste I don't think that his affliction is supposed to be applicable to his mind though. Also he did make elaborate plans and tools to solve issues across Lands Between especially with his siblings so clearly he is not so childlike that we all want to think.
@@BigBilly2009 Yeah Im also skeptical of the claim that Miquella is mentally a child I just went with it because thats what was told in the video
That empyrean eye, so that explains why Ranni has a closed eye, she divested herself of it just as Miquella as a rejection of being an Empyrean. Why Melina also has a closed eye, hers must have been sealed by Marika after her rebellion (since she is most likely the gloam-eyed queen) as she only opens it after the Frenzy ending. Always wondered what the deal was with their eye.
i'd imagine if there is an ending it involves the frenzied flame needle

Makes me wonder, which happened first, the night of black knives or the Promise Vow of Miquella?
Gonna assume the vow after the shattering miquella seemed ego already be doing his haligtree business.
@TheNamezZ because I stand by the idea of the age of stars, not directly interfering in the lands between. All other ends feel very overbearing.
@@willsword8100 I agree although I think goldmask ending is the actually the best. A golden order with no god and death returns making erdtree useless. A world with no god is chaotic in nature but better than living in falsehood. Miquella would’ve been perfect for a world such as the goldmask ending as he could’ve been who he was meant to be as a saint wandering the world saving those who needed it without having to be in complete control as a god with no will.
@TheNamezZ but free will much remain. Also, Marika and Radagon deserve to be smacked for betrayal of their respective spouses. Godfrey deserved better, and Rennala deserved better. Hence why I stand by the Age of Stars. And as It must be an Empyrean to be successor and seeing how we (as of current date) cannot side with Miquella or Melania, Ranni is the horse to bet on.
I just want to add on this that Redmane Castle is about as physically distant from the Haligtree as possible. Im betting he set up camp there to get as far away from lil bro as possible.
Or becasue he wanted to cover as much distance as possible between the two of them so that their kingdom can span the entire distance.
With Miquella having the Haligtree as a base, and Radahn having Tedmane Castle 😊

thank u so much for mentioning that last part of the gameplay trailer
since the dlc dropped i've been looking every where to see if anyone has got to that cutscene but just no one talks about it
29:30 so I decided to do a run just like this, get grabbed by radahn and got miquellested just to try out if theres an alternate ending. Sadly there is not, ive gotten my heart stolen, ive speed ran through the base game and i see no summoning sign of miquella inside the erdtree, only the option to touch fractured marika and mend the elden ring. I should also point out that when i got miquellested miquella said "lord of the old order, let us go together" so i believe when youre fighting radahn you are in fact the elden lord. It takes place after you mended the elden ring.
i hope there is more to it. like the "May Erudition Light the Way!" emote that can open locked magic door. and we didn't even get credit scene after finishing the dlc.
@Berserk0098 ill test out if the emote "let us go together" will work if i do it in front of marika. Ill let you know if it does anything 👏🏼
@@Berserk0098 yep. I re-did everything. Got grabbed by radahn and got miquellested. Went to speed through the game and i used the emote. It does nothing unfortunately
Seeing the Master Chief getting a weapon upgraded threw me for a loop lol, great video!
Another reason for Radahn being a high candidate for consort is the fact that bro singlehandedly held back cosmic horrors. A very useful ability for an essentially apex being to have if your goal is a world of peace

Every video is a masterpiece. Keep doing what you're doing!
I love how the original elden ring trailer with the melania and radahn fight actually has melania saying something right before the bloom. It matches the description from the armor, which tell us she said Miquella awaits thee, O promised consort." So it seems like fromsoft had at least parts of this planned since before base game released!
The emote you get during the second phase when grabbed twice!! Maybe if it was used during the boss fight!!!
I didn't finish your vid when I made this comment😂. Great to see we came to the same idea of a another ending.
I thought radahn was chosen because he was able to resist miquilla’s charm to a degree with his conviction and that resistance “enchanted” miquilla with his strength of will
Great video 🎉🎉 now it all make sense all the theory in the game
Loved the video, and the very scientific approach with the sources. Keep up the great work
Lucky Radahn, it should've been ME ahhhhhhh
...Miquella has the body of a child.
Said everyone who follows Miquella
@@fearlessfailure2848 How would Radahn be a consort of Miquella then if he HAS the body of a child
Miquella chose Radahn because he is strong. Just as Godfrey says. "A crown is warranted with strength." And Godfrey was the first Elden Lord afterall. And the reason why Malenia and Radahn fought, I think Radahn made a vow with Miquella. What vow, I don't know. But something went wrong. The Shattering happened. So Radahn, probably broke his vow, and began to go to war. That's all he lived for. Just like Godfrey, his idol. So, probably, Miquella sent Malenia to take Radahn by force. Malenia stood no chance and she nuked Caelid. But this didn't work because, although he lost his wits, he was still alive. So Miquella's plans, for now, came to a halt. Until the Tarnished arrived. And it wouldn't be too far fetched if Radahn was forced into this. Because Radahn was also kind underneath all the war. And Miquella used this kindness to make him King Consort.
Great work, solid editing, good humor at parts when it was warranted but not too much. Very lore driven. You got a "subscribe" from me. Looking forward to seeing your other vids.

This DLC was really shocking but interesting. My one complaint is I wanted more boss cutscenes.
Side note, but I wonder if the body in the cocoon is Mohgs? Atd the Mohg we fight is a apparition? Idk. It's all still confusing, even more so now (like we all knew it'd be 😂)
I'm still at "who the fuck's arm is that in the cocoon?"
Miquella is missing an arm during his godhood.
I think we know the first thing he sacrificed to enter the Land of Shadow.
@@goroakechi6126 True that is weird. But that arm in the cocoon is the length of Malenia, and Miquella is supposed to be child size?
And the cocoon-arm is a right-arm, Miquella is missing a left arm.
@@goroakechi6126 wrong arm tho. the model of the thing in the cocoon has all limbs in tact and is a reused asset of morgott's corpse just curled up with one arm poking out. In the land of shadow you also find miquella left behind both his left and right arms at different crosses
Speaking of arm, I didn't even notice this until watching the cutscene again in this video.... But why does Miquella have 2 right arms when he's wrapping himself around Radahn? I mean, Melania is missing her right arm (hence the prosthetic) but.... Now that I look again, he has 4 arms... What's up with that?

I haven’t gotten to play it yet but I started up a new save file for the dlc a month or so ago and I just got back into the game and I beat mohg just like 5 hours ago and I’m getting the dlc tomorrow I’m super excited for it
Make sure you are at least between the levels of 120-150. Most people are over exaggerating how hard the DLC is. But those levels will make you have a comfortable amount of health and endurance because the DLC isn't really meant for leveling up I would say. I need around 300,000 souls to level up once so it's mostly about the gameplay and experimenting with new items and spells
Unless you're a Pro Gamer it's definitely as hard as everyone says it is. The first two enemies I came across killed me like 10 times each. So I gave them the Sentinel treatment and came back later. Then I realized trash mobs kill you in two hits
level is not really matter
the new fragment system is more important
just look for it first for easier run

I’m pretty sure that Miquella didn’t bring back Godwyn for one very important reason, his soul is completely obliterated. The night of black knives explicitly states that Ranni used the curse mark of death to rid herself of her body at the same time Godwyn was killed, using his soul and her body as a complete sacrifice. Furthermore, whatever Miquella planned to do at Castle Sol for Godwyn failed, this inevitably led to Miquella not being able to use Godwyn’s Soul in Mohg’s body, as he was unable to restore it or even give him a true death.
I would also like to comment on Mohg. Personally, I don’t think he is without blame. I think Mohg is charmed *after* he takes the cocoon from the Haligtree. His character motivations all align with him wanting to start his own Dynasty based around the Formless Mother and his blood of which he’s been shunned his whole life for. More specifically, I think he shouldn’t be apologized to because he is still a terrible person, his realm is bloody and festering, like the sewers he grew up in (see the swarm of flies incantation), and the culture he cultivates of his Pureblood Knights and Bloody fingers is that of the hunting and mutilation of others seemingly only to please the Formless mother entity. A bad person got taken advantage of by another bad person, after he tried and failed to use what he thought was Miquella for his own means, is all I really think happened.
I think mohg needed godwyn for his dynasty i mean MOHGWYN
I never understood the Godwyn eclipse theory, because the eclipse is specifically said to be tied to the mausoleum knights and the soulless Demigods that rest within them and the idea that Miquella wanted to resurrect Godwyn is outright disproven in the base game because the golden epitaph description basically states how Miquella in fact mourned Godwyn and wanted him to die peacefully and not be in the state we see him in, so I always thought that theory made no sense.
@@Doommarine-sr8y Yeah I agree. The discourse around the Eclipse theory is confusing and seems to have a lot of variance depending on who you ask. Personally, I always thought Miquella was trying to use the Eclipse to achieve Godwyn's "true" death and not as a tool of resurrection. Although, seeing as Malenia failed to fully kill Radahn, the eclipse is moot anyways as it won't happen with Radahn holding the stars(and what I can assume also the Moon) at bay.
27:20 totally agree that's the ending most likely to happen, considering how freaking strong Radahn is.
deserved a sub for mentioning the most amazing book ever in the beginning amazing comedy
Well, even the Marika's cutscene where pulls out a golden strand out of a bloody womb and ascends to godhood at a bloody and piled with bodies Gate of Divinity, which was in trailers, is nowhere to be found in the DLC. So even Miquella's trailer cutscene may be a ruse or we have still not found out how to get those cutscenes.
Sadly. That stuff is probably cut content. St. Trina has a 4th line in game with no triggers, and The knight before Trina the pestulance knight is called gloameyedknight in game files. Meaning somewhere along development things changed.
Marika sacrificed melina her firstborn who she had with the seduced male counterpart of the GEQ then consulted formless mother to assist in ascension and it required a literal Mountain of blood and Marikas lineage was cursed as a result with aspects of the formless mother (the crucible). The greater wills original mistake. Miquellas deal is he sacrificed his very flesh and power itself which would’ve had him acend but he would’ve been a puppet god just as radahn was his puppet consort. He would’ve had none of his will left intact which st Trina knows. This is the fate of emperyans who ascend they sacrifice the most important thing to them. Marika her children and miquella his love and eternal innocence even his flesh which has the innate abilities of blood and the formless mother. I believe the GEQ must’ve done something similar (if she indeed ascended).
It is in the dlc it's just implied not show
That wrinkled flesh was the Head of Metyr, the eye was Metyrs Eye and Marika was seduced by it into becoming the elden rings vessel
In exchange for the strength of Gold to avenge her people and to ascend to God hood.
Metyr came to the lands between in the golden star and was bearing the elden beast

Excellent video, Bandit. 10/10.
The other possible reason why Miquella chose Radahn over Godwyn, even perhaps before Godwyn's death, is that Miquella could've been somewhat psychotic.
It might sound crazy, but hear me out: You have an ability to always lull people under your influence. You will never really know real love, because you can always enforce it. Which means, Miquella simply couldn't have grown up 100% well. Yes, he means well, but meaning well in his mind might be something else from being truly good.
On the other hand, we have Godwyn, who is a natural leader even without mind abilities. Which means, Miquella could either be jealous or even spiteful. Or simply just not understand him at all, it would actually suffice. While Miquella wants to help, he does not know how to actually get people to like you outside his ability. Godwyn does it through charm, but Miquella through his power. So while Miquella wants to help, he needs people to like him, but the only way he knows how to gain loyalty through subjugation. Cue Radahn, the ultimate subjugator.
Radahn would conquer everyone, so Miquella would be able to help everyone. Well, with necessary sacrifices.
Yeah, this theory is possibly far fetched, but I think it is a possible alley of thought to be considered. You simply cannot get the proper social skills and the proper empathy, if you can literally mind control people.
Just did this 2min ago and nothing happened, I killed elden beast before going into the dlc but didn't finish, I went to radahn, he got me 2 times, I received an emote, I tried to go to radagons remains and clicking, also tried to do the emote but nothing changed, maybe it needs more steps

Yeah most likely
Might be a dare 😂 he's one crazy MOFO.
Probably no, they had a quarrel, probably over St. Trina who Miquella ends up shedding to be a God and have Radahn as his consort.
Adds up that way. I guess you can love someone hard enough to lose a part of yourself in the process. But in this case, I don't know if Radahn is the one at fault, seems like Miquella was born to be a god, a gift and a curse equally for sure.
05:14 not to be "that guy" but it is specifically her Great Rune that grants her life draining abilities, as even shown in the fight - not a single Rot attack gives her health in phase 2.
Okay im subscribed and im looking forward to all of your videos
Someone posted the theory that regarding the position of Lord, only Radahn was available. Malenia is already a vessel for the God of Rot, Morgott an Mogh are Omen and their souls do not return to the Erdtree (and Miquella requited Radahns soul), Ranni and Rycard are quite obvious. With Godwyn being the Prince of Death, that only leaves Radahn. In addition, Messmer is also already afflicted by an outer god.
I wish more people would discuss lore in the comments instead of memeing

Radahn is like Goku. Pure of heart and loves the challenge. I beleive he was even able to resist Miquella's bewitchment. Radahn truly is the main character.
the 180 of Miquellas story bothers me so hard in the DLC.
Miquella with his very clear points of agenda:
1. Curing the curses of himself and Malenia
2. Reviving or fully killing Godwyn
3. Building a place for the rejected and exiled (much like the Painting in Dark Souls)
and here he is in the DLC, wanting to become a god the same way Marika did, to atone a sin we never learn about, with Radahn (excuse me what) at his side instead of Godwyn whose story is tied to Miquella.
Then he even invites us to the Realm of Shadow just so we can be a stone in the cog of his plan? Makes no fucking sense.
all of this can be achieved after he reaches godhood. He can't be a god if he has no consort.
Except reviving godwyn which is impossible to do.
@@fortress7493 Is it impossible though?
we literally saw Miquella transplant a different soul into another's body. Soooo.... he could, theoretically not use Mohgs body, but Godwyns... maybe even use Ranni's soul (hehe) and make it even weirder.
ooo, the miquella ending speculation is pretty cool 😮
At 11:30, it is not implied to be a product of Malenia’s bloom, but rather one of the sisters of Milicent.
From 23:00 onwards, this is too much of a conjecture regarding Radahn’s intention. If anything, the more probable conclusion is that Radahn was corrupted by his Great Rune after the Shattering. This is actually stated in game prologue. Malenia then went to him to remind him of the vow. Remember, Fromsoft games are notoriously ambiguous, enough to pave the way for various interpretations. Anyone remembers Velka back in Dark Souls days?
