I’m guessing he isn’t using the clutch for upshifts on pulls like the one at 5:20? That’s a lot of power to slam between gears unless there is some kind of automatic throttle blip on upshift. It’s probably got the blip with 1950hp. That’s enough power to send any gear or bearing back to its origins.

My guess for this Viper is bigger motor, bigger drivetrain, more rotating mass, etc, it's around 20%~ drop. Plop that into a calculator and it would be around 2400hp crank, high 1900whp. Or.. you know.. a calibrated dynamometer would give those exact numbers lol.

its a straight cut gear sequential transmission. You move it up or down to select gears and you only need clutch for stopping and moving from a stop

the more power you make, the more power you lose, it’s in percentages, 15% power loss at 1950 crank, is more then 15% at 600
