I've never fully understood the construction of the smart dolls- I thought the vinyl on the outside was really hard!! So it was cool to see you put them together heated up. I'm so happy for you guys, your studio looks great!! Can't wait to see the videos you'll make there- and BOY i'm exited for Marceline 🥺🥺🥺
The vinyl only is squishy when heated up with a heat gun. After some time it will harden back, but to stretch over the frame without cracking it needs to be squishy 😊
Yeah the limbs/outer shell are more of a soft vinyl, you can squeeze them! They aren’t squishy per say tho xD I also thought they were stiff until I got one so I don’t blame you! xD

Even if you did use the Patron funds to buy a few of them it isn't embezzlement. You use your Patron to help fund the channel and the smart dolls are a big part of your channel now.

I mean they custom and make dolls so makes cents to have a few dolls to custom so we can see what they can custom these dolls so they can have ideas for future dolls they print out/ make as well so it’s good as they have them for examples

The marbled doll made me a little emotional. The texture of her skin reminds me of stretch marks and cellulite, which reminds me of my own body. Thank you for dressing both her and the vitiligo doll in outfits that show a lot of skin. I know I shouldn't be ashamed of my natural body, but there's still a mental hurdle and seeing these girls unapologetic about how great they look makes me think "hey, I can do that too".

Rainbow High has a Doll with Vitiligo named Jewel Richie. I first saw her a few weeks ago. Don't know how new or old she is, but I thought she was gorgeous. Courage is equally stunning.

Congratulations on the studio space! I was looking at the Smart Dolls and I love the disability accessories. I have invisible disabilities, but sometimes wear wrist braces to reduce inflammation and was really touched that the creator thought of hearing aids, something that a few of my family members use. It's the little touches that really make a company stand out and make you feel seen and heard.

For decorating the background, you could try getting prints of the photoshoots of your previous creations, especially any commissions or collabs that you don't have anymore!

For the grey dolls, you could always do an awesome spin on things and do full-on cyborg versions of different existing (or even OC) character trios :)
My teenage daughter was born with vitiligo. Thank you so much for sharing about yours and showing a beautiful doll with this condition. My girl has it around her torso and up the side of her face and she feels uncomfortable about it. So being able to share it with someone she admires for their creativity and spirit is amazing. It means the world to me and I cannot wait to watch this video with her and remind her that beauty is diverse. Thank you again.

As soon as I saw the Boy Smart Doll wearing that jacket, the doll absolutely gave off Howl (from Howl's Moving Castle) vibes. I think it would be such a cool project. I absolutely love your videos and hope to watch more of your fun and amazing videos!
As someone with vitiligo I really love Courage. It also does take a good bit of courage to go makeup free and show the world your spots. Right now I'm so pale that my face looks mostly all one color until you get up really close, and pretty much nobody gets close these days, so no worries! 😅 Being a tanned preteen and teen with very noticeable spots was definitely difficult, and back then it wasn't a widely known condition, so I found myself reassuring other kids that it wasn't contagious just so they would sit within a few feet of me. That was tough, but so am I. Self depreciating humor is a great coping mechanism for people who are "abnormal." If you make fun of yourself then their insults don't sting as much...
You should do a Stock box type episode and take some of the extra bodies and design something just for them, Maybe an android faery or one with patches of Space Virgiligo would suit of your grey bodies. There are lots of cool concepts that you can use for these and I look forward to seeing what you do with them!
Barb is so brave to climb that ladder onto the roof, I could never! I vote Jotaro as a JoJo doll, he's my absolute favorite. Jolyne is a close second, though.
I got one of the grey diy chaos doll too. I got mine secondhand and I’m soooo thrilled to own a smartdoll!!! I still have to do all of the cleanup and get her assembled but I’m so happy!!

PLEASE do Courage next! I haven't seen that many dolls with Vitaligo and I would really love some representation.
I have vitaligo on my right leg going up towards my hip and ending at the back of my knee. I had to get special laser skin treatments (which left my skin very sensitive and sore) because the doctors were afraid it would spread. I didn't have it when I was born, but as a hormone reaction during purberty and it caused *MANY* skin infections. I always get questions and looks when people see it as it effects the hair growth/texture where it is. Thankfully it has not spread since the laser treatments, but I consider myself extremely fortuneate that I was even able to get them.
So please, customize the doll with vitaligo, I know you two will do an amazing job and I love your content!!
