Donald Fagan is a literal musical god. Sounds just as good now as he did in 72’ Just saw Steely Dan 2 weeks ago and hands down the best concert I’ve ever seen or will see. True top of the line players .

Session guitarists are the most talented, can play anything and make a ton of money doing it for anyone and everyone. Probably why Jon declined to join Steely Dan preferring to be a non contract free agent. Fagen is talented but he sure hit some clinkers in this song.

Music is always a reflection of the times. But never before has almost every genre resembled one another so much. Country and rap are more combined than ever, I still think it's exactly what I thought it was as a teenager and I'm 37 now and that's CRAP!
well, as someone who is old, and loves these guys, and produces music. I don't agree. Music is fine. You look in the old person places and find bad music. That is the issue. musicians are every bit as good if not better depending on what you are evaluating. Most of the band is replacements here and they are young... todays generation of touring people.
