Smash Remix 1.5 - All characters Continue Screen (Classic Mode)

- A short video to showcase all characters' continue screen pose and their animation if you choose YES in Smash Remix
Some characters share the same pose, but I found surprising that the devs took their time to give unique animations to some new characters such as Mewtwo, Marth, Banjo and Marina
I saw almost no difference between NSTC-J and NTSC-U character, with the only notably differences I spotted were Mario and Luigi (bigger head).

The rom can be played in Nintendo 64 (through everdrive + Expansion Pack), Project 64 and Retroarch (Not tested). It can also be played in Not64 (Wii homebrew app), but it suffers from several sound glitches in my cas

Can't wait for more character mods for Smash Remix! Characters like Shantae and more would be cool because there are multiple stages without the actual fighters ingame.
How about Pichu, Roy, Ice Climbers, Princess Peach, Princess Zelda and Mr. Game & Watch?
Personally I hope someone mods Agumon or a Valve character, hell if I ever get into modding one day and happen to have my copy of Smash 64, I'll do it if no one else will!

Same here. Among the characters that already have stages yet are not playable in the mod I would want are: Shantae, Geno, Juno/Vela, Joanna Dark and Slash. It would be so cool to have most of the other N64 Rareware protagonist characters in the roster as well as Gruntilda and Mumbo.

As a kid, I always found this Continue screen strangely creepy due to the lack of music and the characters just laying there lifeless.
Even the WebHead got something dope, thats so cool.
And I thought it was just the “3…2…1…GO!” would be the only thing that got stuck in my head. This is just another Smash-related thing I’ll be hearing in my head for awhile 😂😂

I notice a lot of the new fighters were built using Mario as a basis. Wario's continue animation is literally just Mario's but not edited. Dr Mario is an obvious one, but Goemon and Ebisumaru also share his animation until the finishing pose.
The Star Fox crew literally just use Fox's animation so no need to explain. And Ganondorf and Dragon King still use Captain Falcon's animation. Just noticing some minor details 😅
I personally love how Sheik does the pose for Transform when she reveals herself in Ocarina of Time. Marth I think is based off artwork for Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, which is pretty cool 😁

I find it interesting that the continue animations for each character of the base roster of SSB64 stayed the same. You’d think they’d do something different between American copies and Japanese copies, but no.
I still wanna know where this continue screen is supposed to take place, and find the music to be a bit unnerving, but I know that's what the *vanilla* games continue screen is like, so I'm not blaming the modders for that.
It’s right outside the toy chest from the opening of the game. The characters just landed on the floor.

Now that you have both Banjo & Conker in Smash, I strongly recommend in the next patch to add in Fulgore from Killer Instinct Gold. This bad ass is just far too tempting and cool to pass up on. ^-^

Quick question: Does the 1.5.0 mod with Spider-Man included console compatible?
Somewhat. It crashes on console but it's being worked and also adding polygon spider man (check ultima's Twitter)

@retrogamermax8287 Each smash remix games you play on Nintendo wears out quicker or is more likely to crash than super smash bros. even though it's completely new and not only that. You would need an expansion pak to play smash remix.
What does NTSC-J mean?
It means it's in Japanese locations or just in the east in general. Hope this helps!

I am sure Link is used to this screen, because you know, he sucks in smash 64. The remix team should merge Young Link and Link profiles and free up another character slot
