@@Nik-ji5ck Best mid champs for high cs/good side lane imo are: Cass, Ryze, Irelia, Trynd, Yasuo, Yone, could maybe make arguments for Kass/TF/Sylas

I really appreciate that when you talk about lower ranked players in this case diamond you don't say they are trash or terrible you say these are the mistakes I see relatively high ranked players make. You acknowledge their accomplishment while still pointing out unforced errors they often make.

I main ADC but I found that a most of these concepts still hold true and found this information very valuable. Also appreciated that you took the time to approach mid game from a ADC perspective.

I'm not used to commenting on YT, but this time I really have to do man. For the first time EVER I got 404 CS in a 45 minutes game, and all because of your video. I was able to do those paths stealing all the enemy jungle camps on the top side, keeping constant pressure. Moving from the jungle (plat II) to the mid lane after 3/4 years stop. Luckily YT suggested your channel, and definitely I'm going to watch more of your content! Keep up the great work, and thanks again!

The legend! Saving this to watch later and looking forward to more fundamental guides! I came back to League a year ago and my goal since then is to improve my farming. I see good results, but noticed I have a hard time balancing the farming and actually using the gold I earned, not missing the important fights. I hope I can find some good macro balance using this and future guides!

For fun my clash team is shaking up roles and these are really helpful coming from 8 years of jungling. Turns out it's harder to last hit creeps than jungle mobs...

@@ShokLeague May I ask for an advice about a mid laner champ mage that I should main while I learn the game mechanics and stuff? I started with Veigar and moved to Vex, because Veigar's game plan is a little specific. Should I stay with Vex, go back to Veigar or is there a champ you think it'd be better for me to try? I enjoy playing either one and im open to try a new one
@@joelochoa2770 I think both those champs are fine, just keep playing what you enjoy. Even if Veigar's game plan is a little specific like you say, he still tests a lot of good fundamentals (positioning, farming, laning etc) as he can't really 'skip' any phase of the game like some niche champions can.

I run normally at 85 ping or so and re works for me if I hit e as soon as the dash begins. Might end up inside the ring and having to walk out sometimes to the the passive but yes it works for me. If it goes well I’ll end up with an instant passive and the time I need to e back with a q and r out.

This guide has improved my CS tremendously. I'm consistently starting to hit over 200 cs on katarina which is awesome! In late game should I prioritize grouping or also sidelaning? Thanks!
Later in the game just prioritize grouping, the objectives fights like baron/elder become too important and hopefully you're mostly full build by then anyway.
I think thats an important oncept in general, that on paper going for cs in certain situations might be better, but in reality its not. If your team has the tendency to get caught/not respect that you are not there its often better in the later stages of the game to just not catch a wave, cause if you team dies you often end up losing the game. Another scenerio which I see alot is people basing for an item/item part(s) in mid/late, giving their team a time window where they can "int". On paper it would be correct to get your item first, but if its not absolutely necessary for you to win the next fight its sometimes better to just not base and stay with the time, removing the chance of them getting caught :)

Yeah I definitely will do a video about this at some point, probably the most underrated part of solo queue.
I wish everyone understood lane assignments and why they matter. I mainly play ADC and in Soloqueue I often end up having to fix side lanes by myself as my mid and top will usually just end up sitting mid lane walking in circles. On the upside it means I get a ton of solo xp and gold compared to the opposing ADC, but it can also be difficult to be present at the random soloqueue fights if I'm on clean up duty the entire game. At this point I just ignore the fights if I'm too far away and try to take a tower or something while the enemy team is distracted fighting my team. A few times I've just walked into their base and ended because no one even noticed that I was pushing in waves.
Hey, this is some pretty good content. I really like your description of "method farming" which most people seem to kinda get but never master, and other guides just assume you know it already. If I had one critique, this is a lot to handle in one sitting - it would be nice if you had broken it up into 4 separate 15-20 minute videos (better for your monetization and channel growth too).
I actually prefer the longer form videos. I don't think they need to be consumed in one sitting and I think it makes it easier for people to come back to the same place rather than searching for information scattered across several videos. I appreciate the feedback though!

@@magnusballard512 Normal items, make sure you have corrupting pot. Runes take elec primary and sorc secondary (manaflow transcendence)
Thank you so much bro! Even though it's a year old, this video popped up on my recommended and I've always struggled with getting good CS. Usually no higher than 6 early game. But I played several games today while keeping this video in mind, and my CS early-mid game was 8. Though it dropped down a little late game when I was roaming and team fighting more and leaving lane. Do I still come back to lane every wave late game? Thank you bro!
Late game it's more important you just be at all the fights, obviously you wanna farm when you can but prioritize being at objectives

when you say mid champs that are not strong in sidelanes or at pushing waves, do you suggest they play the mid game entirely differently or just try to do that to the best of their ability?
Depends on the champion and the gamestate so its hard to give an answer that fits every scenario, but I'll try my best. If you're a champ with low econ (essentially doesnt need much gold) and low waveclear like lulu mid for example you probably just want to catch sidewaves when they are close to your tower and not really push them out and just try group. If you're a champ with high econ that still sorta sucks in the side lane like Zoe you probably only want to push waves to the halfway point since you can't really pressure towers/enemy camps. If you're a champ with low econ but high waveclear like karma mid you just want to push side lanes when you are able to and group when you are not, essentially just do it to the best of their ability like you said.

Which champion would you say, has the easiest time to wave clear that result in most time when he has a "turn" to do something?
Probably Ryze, clears insanely fast and has a huge mana pool. Can also use turns really effectively to farm camps or to roam with ult.
I've given up on League because I struggle with the controls when things get chaotic and get my right/left click mixed up. I'm pretty terrible. But I tried Wild Rift recently and it's much easier for me to use with the controller scheme it uses. It's made the game much more enjoyable for me. Though I'm still sooo bad at this game, I feel so bad for my teammates. I feel your topics in this video are definitely my weakest areas so hopefully I can work on it.
Nice guide. A few Qs: Whats CS? Last hit? And how do you stand still nearby a mob?
CS = creep score (minion kills), last hit is getting the last hit on the target so you get the gold for the kill, you can press S to stand still.
