The one problem with that Phantom swivel is the actual swivel isn’t close enough the the brush head, in my experience it can cause the brush to jackknife. Gardiner do the best swivel, their swivel is closer to the brush head and so gives you better control 👍🏻
Hi guys new hear i was wondering what peace times I need with gardener all do I need to change my brush head all over to swivel head could you say many thanks
Glad they have brought the swivel out. I’ve been using my Phantom with a Gardiner swivel for over a year now. If you tighten the screw dose it tighten how stiff the swivel is? 👍
Hi Ashley a really great video buddy, im totally all in on Swivels now, 2wks in and my jobs are remarkably faster and it gives you a more controlled feel on the frame and glass. How high are they effective as so far upto 3rd floor is ok. Its been a big game changer for me and im enjoying the work more so because of this swivel change from fixed. I especially like how it copes with side angles and that you dont have to reposition alot also.....Brilliant!!! and thanks to you mate. Cheers Andrew😊🌈😊
@@aemackintosh cheers Ashley if i hadn't been watching your channel id still be stuck on a fixed head.. they are ok but only ok, where as swivel developments can only make the trade better. Great work you are doing buddy and a Merry Christmas mate!!! Cheers Andrew Stamps Cleaning Services.
Been using phantom poles since came out, the clamps are just the best out there. But been using gardiner swivel adapters on phantoms and I do like there quick change flat jets in brushes as no risk of marking frames. Thanks Ash for good vid mate ✅
Hi Ash I have just bought a Phantom 18 Hybrid which looks great but today I tried to fit my old aqua adapter to the pole but its a different fitting. Do you know if the Exceed univalve would fit my new pole. Also I think I might buy this swivel adapter would make life easier.
Might give the Phantom pole a go sometime. So disappointed recently with Gardiners customer service & the fact they are not standing by their warranty on broken poles! The Extreme is a great pole but so weak & brittle! And when Gardiners won't honour the warranty, it drains ones confidence! Thanks as always for the upload Ashley, looks good mate. 👍
Good luck with window cleaning warehouse when you buy the phantom pole if something goes wrong got into a argument with them about my new pole creaking after 4 months use they would not replace it so will go back to Gardinerpoles for my next pole
@@davidthomas9759 Seems these companies are similar, when it comes to customer care David ! Companies only need to dish me out bad service the once, then im gone! A bad review will cost an awful lot more, than a company honouring its promise!
Hi ash, I noticed a black strip of dirt on the top white sill on your video. Could u do a video pls focusing on you cleaning sills in 6-8 weekly cleans?
Thanks Ashely. Great video as usual. Have to say Gardiner one looks better and use that one. That said I am in the market for a new pole, Gardiner Xtreme are lighter, but would like to just see the phantom. Is there anywhere you can actually go to view products before buy ?? Also what reels you use? Need an extra one (electric) 👍
Ben I think Gardiner is all online, so you would have to know someone who already has a pole to try theirs. WCW are always at the show in September so that would be your best chance to try a Phantom I suppose. Bit of a wait though.😃👍🏼
Hi Ashley, great video as usual. Thanks. This is a bit off topic but I am considering having a 325 litre Facelift Compact system installed in my Peugeot Partner van. Have you ever seen one of these (or know anyone who has one) and if so, what do you think of them? Is it a good system?
Nick Cutting Yeah, they seem like decent systems. I want to make a video to talk about the pros and cons of a flat tank vs upright tanks. I suppose it depends on how you want to use the space you have in your van.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh Hi Ashley thanks for the reply I have spoken to facelift themselves and they could set up the compact system up at the bulkhead with the power up hose coming out the side door so it should leave me with pleanty of room at the back for Gutter vac and othe equipment I might need. Another one I am thinking of is the 350 litre water genie system with the full RO which tells you when the filters need changing, auto flush, and has a filling nozzle. Only thing is that water genie don't do a power up hose which is what i'm after but I would have more room in my garage as I should'nt need a RO set up What do you think between the two systems? (pros-cons)
Yeah, I don’t know much about either system really. But it sounds like space could be a big issue for you, if you would prefer to have more in your garage or in your van?😃👍🏼
Neil Palmer Yes, I think you will actually find it easier with the swivel. Maybe it will just take a little getting used to, but I’ve found it quite instinctive.😃👍🏼
I seen you use that water from a brush but never seen you pull any window , squeegee. Are residential window cleaners using this method nowadays ? It doesn't seem like it can clean a window as good as me with a regular wand and squeegee.
Doozy I don’t think you could have explored my channel very much, there is lots there about how pure water cleaning works and lots of me using a squeegee too.😃👍🏼
@@aemackintosh A wand , bucket of water with a little Dawn dishwashing liquid, and a squeegee cleans a window better than anything. Nothing can even get close.
I know what you mean, I was always sceptical. I’ve been a traditional window cleaner for 20years and now I’ve recently switched to wfp. I have to say that I’m loving it. It is next level cleaning. Doesn’t work in every situation, but there are lots of good reasons to use it.😃👍🏼

I agree, using the gardiner swivel with a phantom pole at the moment, soon moving over to a Slx as have not been to impressed by the facelift gear.
