- my first seoul vlog! my actual first week was honestly a mess and so chaotic (still contemplating if I'm making a vlog for that lol) but happy to share how I spent my 25th birthday this year. Cafe hopping is popular in korea and that was definitely the priority for me. And let me tell you I was in AWE of all the cafe's I saw. I don't know how I'm going to visit them all in 2 months haha. BUT please enjoy watching me celebrate my first quarter century 🤍

I just found your account while getting ready to move to Korea, and I completely relate to you!! I get out of quararantine in a few days, which is the day before my 26th birthday, and you're making me feel comfortable about being alone for my birthday and to go explore lol

Happy Birthday, glad you had fun and enjoyed your birthday. It's a good thing to realize at your age that you need to live a life that makes you happy. I did home stay for 15 years and so many young Asian people I've met are trying to please their parents and live their dreams for them and that can be a mistake. Living your own dreams is the best, it's your life after all.

Can you make a video on informative video on general life in Korea with covid? Do you have to wear a mask even if you are outdoor or at the gym? Do you need any proof of vaccination to enter shops and stores? Are bars and clubs still open?

I visited Seoul 2019 by myself and yes - the hardest thing for me was to go eat at restaurants alone. In 2 weeks I went only like 2 times for dinner alone (lunch was a lot easier for me) So I feel you! My personal challenge for my upcoming trip - going out to eat alone and not feeling embarrassed ;)

Thank you! (: You need to go to a local health center and they'll register it in their system there. Then you'll be issued a paper pass that can be used at restaurants. Hope that helped!

A little! The language barrier is a bit harder here than when I was in Japan but it’s not impossible (: learning a little still goes a long way and I use Google translate a lot

No it’s very easy! Just go to a health center and they’ll register it on the spot. But Korea just changed the rules and they don’t ask for it anymore (:
