@@kierangreenfield2815 Anakin was the worst Jedi ever in terms of discipline, the only reason he wss never granted the rank of master js because of the quick and hesitant choices he made. Always in the future he is, never in the now. The only reason he was even given training is because he was the chosen one. Imagine this. You have a group of friends and you have rules and morals, a new kid joins in and barely follows your rules and has different morals, tends to be agressive and has a short temper.... You can't easily kick him out, you have to carefully try to show him the way, but if you initiate him as a full member his morals will poisoin those around him... it will destroy your group & the morals and standards it stood for... What make me sadder is i just accidentally stepped on the 501 st clone but it didnt break luckily
The Tragedy of Darth Vader:
A son who lost his mother.
A man who lost his way.
A person who lost his humanity.
But a father who never lost his son.
A tragedy, yes it is. A sad story, it could be. But a happy ending, it deserves.
A Knight who lost his padawan
An Apprentice who killed his master; his brother.
He still lost his virginity unlike most of the jedi
A man who fell when he betrayed for the one he loved. And a man who rose when he saved his son.
A man who trusted an old sketchy sith lord, and despite logic and obvious signs of distrust decides to trust him even though Anakin knows Padme wouldn't condone this or even accept him if she knew the truth. In fact, it is Anakin's actions alone that directly cause the vision to happen nothing more or less. How on earth did Anakin know a sith lord wasn't telling him the truth and just made up some story? By all means, the Jedi were a bit hypocritical but it's like trusting the United States vs Nazi Germany. One has ideals and clearly fails to meet them, while the other is just a fascist who wants power who has been influenced to such a horrific extent by the corruption and dire situations around them (Palpatine realizing the racism and corruption in the senate is similar to Hitler's realization of the situation in Germany in terms of corruption and poverty and leads both to seek mentors to further their dark path to be the best benefactors of such a situation). Seriously did Anakin not take a single hint at all? Why on earth was the story written into such a logical fallacy of a corner? Honestly, I just came here for the beauty of john Williams composed by Samuel kim himself, but when it comes to the praise the prequels receive I simply don't understand it at times (side note i don't like the sequels either for obvious reasons and just because the prequels may be better than the sequels doesn't make them better films). Tbh if you don't share my perspective you don't have to. Opinions are opinions and you are most definitely entitled to your own, I'm just here to share my perspective on a situation and by all means you can my perspective any which way you desire (please however don't take it in the direction that i'm hating on these movies, I'm not I'm criticizing them. Hate is blind and without reason, while criticism acknowledges the opposition as human beings and respectfully proposes their perspective and reasoning for it.)

Revenge of The Sith is the only Star Wars movie in my top 10 favorite movies (i like the others but Revenge of The Sith is my personal favorite of them all)
For as many problems as the film had, and by God, did it have problems, there's still an incredible story underneath it all, as showcased in Matthew Stover's excellent novelization. I can't say the same for those other "Star Wars" movies we've gotten since.

The film in my opinion is a masterpiece
Especially after watching the clone wars and realising just how much it really changed
He was conflicted. Always was. Even after epsisode 3. After he lost padme he had no choice really, palpatine was all he had left.
Actually it was more like he hated who he became but knew he was too far gone already. The RotS book goes into this.
He only wanted to save his wife, he knew that the only chance he had was with Sidious. He lost everything after bending his knee to Sidious tho. His friends, his wife, his entire life was destroyed by Sidious's treachery.

It was a really great soundtrack, but I would have hoped for it to be more connected to the star wars score, as in having moments where the force theme could trickle into the music, or maybe playing a slower, happier version of the theme at the end.

As his hair from his green thick skin stood vertical, like a vine. Yoda dropped to the floor, in pain, deep agony.
To think they were all of his students at one point. Decades of mentorship and bonding with those Jedi as kids, then feeling all the deaths of his "family" through The Force. Only other character who I think has been in a similar pain was Meetra Surik.
1:43 & 4:23 are by far the most emotional part of this song, you can almost feel Anakin’s pain yourself. It’s amazing work.

Anakin’s Betrayal is the Force being torn apart, despair and sadness fill the space as the life force of the galaxy is corrupted.
Anakin’s Dark Deeds is the Force finally becoming unbalanced, it’s savior turned to the Dark Side. It’s tragic, powerful and unhopeful.

Anakin destroying the Jedi Temple and their brainwashing methods was the very reason why he was the chosen one. He had to unbalance it so something better can rise from the ashes. A Jedi Order that was MEANT to have relationships and love. Creation can not thrive without the Destruction of the old.

This theme makes ROTS even sadder than it already was. When you hear it and deeply think about what happened during the execution of order 66, you’re beginning to realize how tragic these events were…
That theme highlights the terrible events that marked the end of the Clone Wars. Excellent work has stimulated me to think more than once and partly also gave me a better understanding of the cruel consequences of this event

I love it. You could really feel the emotional turmoil of Anakin. The realization that the good he had in him was now extinguished, and that he could not turn back. You can also feel the temptation and pull to the darkness that he had felt

Every time I listen to these songs separately I cry and this is making them even sadder if thats possible. I honestly don't care what anyone says ROTS is one of the best star wars movies and is my favorite one out of all of them ( Return of the Jedi is my next favorite) but god this movie was an emotional rollercoaster.😭

Darth Vader's tragedy is so heartbreaking and with John Williams music it makes it even sadder

The Tragedy of Darth Vader.
Look deep into Anakin's eyes, and you see a man who feels betrayed by the order he was raised to protect, the order that Palpatine corrupted. You will see a man who knows the sorrow of not letting go of the bitterness felt when our loved ones are forcefully and brutally taken from us. You will see regret for what he has done, what he is doing, and what he knows he is about to do. A war rages inside him, a war that we all can relate to. He knows what he is doing, he knows it's wrong, but he knows he can't stop himself. He's convinced himself that it is for the greater good. When he looked into the child's eyes, he saw a face that resembled, and reminded him of, himself. And he was afraid. Afraid of his past, present, and future. Afraid that he could do no right. Afraid that he would never measure up to everyone's expectations of him. "He is the chosen one. He will bring balance to the force." He probably overheard people say this hundreds of times since Qui Gon discovered him on Tatooine, yet he never felt capable.
So he killed, giving into, and becoming, darkness.
Silence.
Void.
Anakin slept in a black suit for nearly a quarter of a century, his body controlled by one Lord Vader. The characteristic flame he once was became a single ember, barely glowing. He knew no emotion but anger, anger toward Obi-Wan, for lying to him, anger toward Padme for failing him, and anger toward Palpatine for controlling him. A breath of wind from the wrong direction would have put him out entirely.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the wind came, but from the most unlikely direction. He saw a face. A face that brought back memory, and feeling, to this man who knew life as a traitor. It was the face of his son, a son whom he had forgotten. Hope surged through him, confusing him. He maimed his son, and tried to make him like himself. And finally, he saw the light. He saw that he was the traitor, the liar, the failure, the cheat. And, yet, now that he saw himself for what he was, he saw hope. Redemption. Forgiveness.
Look deep into Anakin's eyes, and you see a man who felt betrayed by the order he was raised to protect, the order that Palpatine corrupted. You will see a man who knows the sorrow of not letting go of the bitterness felt when our loved ones are forcefully and brutally taken from us. And, yet, you will see a man who has let go of pride and bitterness, embraced humility, and now knows nothing but love and forgiveness. Anakin Skywalker lives, in a way, in all of us. We all know pain, but we know that there can be a brighter future. We don't have to hide in darkness.

Is it just me or do I feel like Samuel Kim has the great potential to be the next John Willams? The emotion he captures into each piece or cover rather is astonishing! The use of dark and harmonic tones as the piece progresses. His use of timing to convey the height of a story and the darkness!
Each piece he covers gives me goosebumps
One thing is to have the talent to mix and use what it've been already created. Not miss credit to Samuel here. And another thing is to create out of nothing, like Williams did.
