From a certain point of view. They are the heroes. They just serve a really bad man lol. That's what George Lucas said to a kid who inquired if the Stormtroopers were the "good guys".
From the point of view of an average Republic/Empire citizen... they are war heroes who took down a secretive order of superhuman monks who exercised an unprecedented level of control in the government and also conspired to kill the Chancellor. So to an average person, they were heroic in this scene.

Just think about how ingenious the whole plot was Palpatine slays his master who knew how to save everyone fron death and is in search for a new apprentice. Through the rise of the Republic, Palpatine disguises himself and follows a political path. Meanwhile, he encourages the trade federation to part ways with the Republic, presenting himself with his true colors and portraying to them a strong economic empire. He introduces his new apprentice, Darth Maul who is to spread fear across the cosmos and warn of a Sith return. In all that, Palpatine introduces himself to the Kaminoans as Jedi Master Sifo Dias, an old warrior who fell at the hands of the Sith long ago, ordering the creation of a large army with specific genetic code and characteristics that of a bounty hunter, Jango Fett, controlling them with inhibitor chips that would be used to make the clones defy no order given to them. In the meantime, he would poison the heart and mind of Jedi Master Count Dokoou, who would later become Darth Tyranus, replacement of the late Darth Maul. Then the prophecy starts to take place and the chosen one is found by Qui Gon Jinn and his apprentice, Obi Wan Kenobi. Qui Gon would die by the hands of Darth Maul in a Trade Federation assault on the homeplanet of Palpatine, and Darth Maul would follow, being killed by Obi Wan Kenobi. Palpatine now gains power and trust after the failed attempt of the Trade Federation to control an important planet to the Republic. A war kicks in. Palpatine assigns General of the Seperatist Alliance, Grievous, with his new apprentice overseeing the operations. Palpatine now turns to gain full control of the main government of the Republic, becoming Supreme Chancellor after the failed regime of chancellor Valorum, which failed to come in peaceful terms with the Trade Federation. Now, Palpatine pushes to an all out war. He makes it known to the Jedi that a clone army is being made by attempting to assassinate his former Queen, Padme Amidala who chose to become senator. Meanwhile, the chosen one, Anakin Skywalker is being trained by Obi Wan Kenobi who is set to become a Jedi Master. Palpatine ensures that Anakin will be tempted exactly where his weak points are, love and affection. He would use Padme as a distraction as well as the kidnapping of his mother to pull him to the Dark Side. The Jedi discover where the facility of the Seperatist war machine is and are all deployed to destroy it, becoming pawns of war at the hands of Palpatine. The clones are deployed, the war has officially begun. Throughout the course of the war, Anakin is forced to deal with the challenge of being a Master to a young Padawan who would later abandon the cause after being betrayed by it, an event orchestrated by no other than Palpatine himself. As we approach the darkest hours, the war escaletes over a full scale invasion of the capital planet of the Republic by the Seperatist alliance, taking Palpatine as hostage aboard the mothership of this operation where Grievous and Tyrannus are both located. Anakin and Obi Wan board the ship and rescue Palpatine, with Anakin breaking the Jedi code and killing the unarmed sith apprentice, Darth Tyrannus. They manage to flee and return to Coruscant. After this event, all powers are given to Palpatine. He could do whatever he liked. So he started shaping the upcoming Empire that would replace the former glory of the Republic. The defeat on Coruscant pushes the Seperatist alliance leadership to a final attempt of reorganization. Without Darth Tyrannus, Grievous and his forces hide to a distant planet, Utapau, where they would fall at the hands of an army lead by Obi Wan Kenobi. Anakin is left behind with his pregnant wife, Padme, with doupts about the future of his family. It's then when Palpatine reveals his true colors to Anakin and promises the prosperity of his wife and children if he joins the Sith. Palpatine knows the conflict within the young Jedi Knight, as he has sent every Jedi all over the Galaxy in battlefronts against the Seperatists, an incredible trap that would guarantee the death of every Jedi. Anakin reports to Jedi Master, Mace Windu who will face Palpatine with three more capable Jedi Masters. This is where Palpatine takes the gamble. Face the Jedi face to face and hope that Anakin will come to the rescue, or every Jedi will die with him. Yeah, we didn't get to see this alternative, but it was one. The gamble is successful and Anakin finaly turns. Now the greatest plan is set in motion. The fall of all the Jedi. Order 66. Death. Death everywhere. Only a few remained. Those who lived either fled to distant worlds or joined the dark side as apprentices to their new master, Darth Vader. Now, the Emperor, creates the Empire. With all the power he has, he has the political ability and power to dictate without anyone doupting him. The support is huge. The war immediately ends, the Seperatists are no more and so are the Jedi. A new war machine is now built, Star Destroyers, high tech fighters and weapons as well as the decommissioning of the Clone army that slowly fell incompetent and ineffective. A super weapon is under construction. The galaxy is under full control and no one has to say anything about it. In the end, Palpatine rose to power with a masterplan that no one could foresee. He took the only hope for the Jedi and turned it into a weapon of anger and lust for power. That was Palpatine. He might not have been able to consume planets or bring the dead back to the living, but he was always a step ahead of everyone else. That was his power, his mind. A well scripted character, a menace, no, he truly was THE EMPEROR.

Ironic, isn't it? The Galactic Republic had forfeited every moral, and ideological justification for its existence. Its Government, primarily the Senate, established to maintain peace and prosperity through mutual understanding, and consensus, had ceased to represent, or adequately serve the most neglected of its citizens beyond the core. Slavery, poverty, and criminality ran rampant in the name of local autonomy, and cultural traditions that ran counter to the very essence of a republic. Its People, the Citizens, had abandoned the patriotic duty of defense, having forced the burden upon SLAVE CHILD SOLDIERS cloned and bred to die, kill, and suffer on their behalf without even the mention of any political rights, or of a life outside of the military. Its Defenders, the Jedi Knights, defenders of all life, of each individual, having so strayed from the path that it had deprived itself of personhood by treating emotions, and relationships as something to be suppressed, not acknowledged and managed, and who in their complacency thought nothing of how far gone they are from the days of old. The majority of them did not even realize how ABHORRENT their arrangement with leading a slave army was, even if they might argue that it was necessary for desperate times. And by this profound, three-fold collective failure, they had unwittingly allowed a far greater evil, more ravenous, exploitative, arbitrary, and oppressive, to be unleashed upon all. Where entire species were enslaved, eaten, ethnocided, and genocided like resources, pests, or both. Where power for its own sake, or for ego, is consolidated instead of used to some truly meaningful and sincere end. The rotting corpse that was the Galactic Republic was felled by the very tool it had eagerly wielded to prolong its grip on power - an army of slaves now made the fists of a tyrant. A "Grand Army" of clone slaves who had known nothing but the chaos of old who would personally and fervently desire nothing but the imposition of order on a galaxy that had shown itself unfit and underserving in every aspect. A parody of the order and peace that the Old Republic from 10,000 years ago was. Ironic, isn't it? The Republic had the power to fight others, but not to fight the very rot within itself. The Rebellion therefore can be seen not merely as opposition to a tyrannical Empire, but a rejection of the old complacency of their parents, and grandparents, a resumption of taking direct responsibility in everything one does. The Temple burns, but the Jedi Order of old was dead long before the 501st stomped into its hallowed halls.
This is truly awesome! I really wish Lucas would have had Anakin as a teenager in Episode One and made him a sympathetic character that slowly turned to the dark side in Episode Two then full on Soth Lord in Episode Three with the Vader suit at the beginning of Episode Three and just going on a rampage throughout Episode Three with this theme sprinkled throughout the movie.

Beautiful :D
Love how the marching cadence/percussion beat continues through the fight clip as despite whatever troopers are skirmishing on camera, there’s still a force in formation steadily advancing unchecked in the background.
0:56 Has the most unique composition/instruments I've ever heard in an Epic version of Republic Army March. This will remain my favorite remake of any theme from any composer for the rest of my life...
Keep it up!
I know it's Star Wars Music, but to me this is the sound of the Grand Fleet leaving Scapa Flow on the eve of the Clash at Jutland.
Enemy sighted, all engines make steam, and ready the long guns.
I would say more when they were underway to Jutland, and everyone lined up and showed all their signals, and colors like they were on parade... a nice miles long parade of warships.
@@airplanenut89 Sounds epic!
The stomps of the Troopers give off a Badass vibe
Absolutely astonishing. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing this is.
“I just felt a great, vast disturbance in the Force…”
A Shadow Cast over The Republic, And A Sunrise To The Galactic Empire
A black sun rises and casts it's shadow over the galaxy.
Listening this in Gym right now GOOD SOLDIERS FOLLOW ORDERS ! LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE!
Playing this on the stair climber and feeling like I’m marching up the Jedi Temple’s steps
"Brainwashed brawlers blindly bend" more like
Democracy dies in thunderous applause but empires rise in the silence that follow
The stomps just make the whole theme sound better on a whole other level.
We marching into malovalent creek
Oh god... just wait untill devs unleach 3rd enemy race of iluminats. Mind control, teleprting aliens with technology and shields
This is nothing like the simulations.
FOR THE REPUBLIC! FOR MANAGED DEMOCRACY!
This will make a fine addition to my collection.
The automatons have been pretty quiet since this one dropped
The automatons are gonna shit themselves when all the Battlefront 2 vets come in with this blaring behind them
imagine this: A whole Fleet of Troops Carriers flee over your head at low altitude, in order, and with the open door on the side whrere you can see the unflinched mask of Imperial Troopers Clone - Battle Scared Veterans watining in order with their own thoughts and watched over you as they depart to battlefied, where they land, order in formation and battle till last man .. 501st, 334th and 200th, 100th Airborne, RangerTrooper 75th Clone Army and Marines -160th Airborne (space marines clones) ...Such view will be awed in respect and with honor salute ! ( From citizen of Republic)
I thought the final hours of the clone wars were supposed to be quiet..not trumpets and stomping!
Great cover

This is perfect. These songs always overlapped in my head. Now I can hear them properly.
One of the saddest and most epic marches! Clones are always epic!
Great music my noble. Congragtulations for this ost.
Even since 20 years order 66 scene is still incredible
Awesome version of this song, I highly admire your work on this.
That "execute order 66" gives chills every time 😅😅
I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to experience the wonderful tunes you have chosen, thank you so much!
For The Republic!
Truly a work of art. I also notice at the end the general grievous theme added in which is kinda crazy when you think about it
Palpatine control two sides
Another masterpiece from our lord !!! Thanks you !!
Just with the marching sound at the start I was hyped. Perfect sonority.
thanks )
1:31 No one talks about how a fucking youngling lasted longer than Master 5head.
3:12 - second part (without emperors voice line)
This gave me chills
How can anyone dislike this? Love this so much, thank you for your content
So this is how liberty dies, with an ass kicking soundtrack
🤣🤣🤣🤣
At least it died in a very cool way better than dying in a very shitty way 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I really wanna learn this on the trumpet
More clones and bad batch themes in all styles!
we stormin the jedi temple with this one.
This was pretty awesome kinda has that tone of the 2003 clone wars version...well to me it sounds little like that but more better
Once again you have absolutely cooked GLADUS!!! Frieza once again feels like THE final boss of dragon ball. Strongest in the Universe has never been more real. I also appreciate you kept the “hail frieza” part. I can’t wait for your renditions of dragon ball media ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
Sounds so powerful! This is awesome :)
Thanks my friend! 👍🏻
Once i had an order 66 in a restaurant.
Just as the founding fathers intended
Democracy dies only to such music.
Long live the Clone Army of the Republic!
The Temple burns, but the Jedi Order of old was dead long before the 501st stomped into its hallowed halls.
hey good work where can i find this scene as a background at 2:17 Thank you.
This is truly awesome! I really wish Lucas would have had Anakin as a teenager in Episode One and made him a sympathetic character that slowly turned to the dark side in Episode Two then full on Soth Lord in Episode Three with the Vader suit at the beginning of Episode Three and just going on a rampage throughout Episode Three with this theme sprinkled throughout the movie.
you have the clone wars for that
@@kanoaikawach Agreed, I love TCW, but I would have preferred to see it in the movies
"Magnificent, aren't they"- kaminoen

2:31 gotta love the little Separatist march excerpt there
I like live the clone army march for itself, but this mix has something that makes my brain somewhat addicted to it.
The song we'll play when we march into Ottawa.
Une légion blanche d'un millions d'hommes marchant au pas cadence , une belle discipline .
We're taking down the Jedi Temple with this one.

This is most excellent, Krutikov Music. Thank you!
Interesting variations on the motif
