Thank you SO much for your explanation!! I have had a WinKeyer for several years but could never get it to work with my KX3. Turns out that I did not know about the Port Settings needed for the WinKeyer, which your video detailed. Once I made those changes to what had been my default settings for the WInKeyer Port, everything worked great!!! Many thanks. Jim N7RCS - Palm Bay, FL

Hi Duncan…. Go to hamcrafters2.com/WK3tools.html and download the WK3tools 5.3 s/w and the associated guidebook. You’ll be able to connect your wkusb and define your messages. Use the guidebook for more info. Hope this helps
@@ND3N Fine business Tom, tks for Your fast reply., Yes, I have programmed the device, however, when tried to key in the Red or other buttons will not work b'cause when I connect the CAT of my FT991A, will automatically disconnect the WKUSB device, is there a way to activate these buttons, use my FT991A without the Key/Paddle? In your video we notice You are using your Key or Paddle, how to do without the Key/Paddle using just your computer, sorry to bother you.

That’s strange because the cat controls have nothing to do with the wkusb. What serial ports are you using for the rig and the wkusb
