@@StraightandLevelCFI Yes... after labeling the video "engine Failure at 700agl" then pretending that it was a real engine out... you clearly state that you planned to do it "Now that clearly wasn't a real engine failure..." in your own words. Thats called click bait. A not click bait title would be "engine out practice in a seaplane from 700agl" I watched it to see how you paddled it to shore... and whether the winds were gonna push your nice looking place into that mean looking bridge.

Good job but I would've landed parallel to shore using the shore in your peripheral vision for height reference. Smooth water can fool you into thinking you're too high or too low. This can cause a plow-in or belly flop if you flare too high or too late.
I find it frustrating that some choose deception over hard work to build views.
