I've bought the pattern, and now I need to find the exact yarn to make it. I really appreciate your tutorials. I've been crocheting for a long time, but I have a brain injury and tutorials are the only way for me to learn. I also think this is a pattern that could have sleeves put on it. We'll see

When I work with the *boo yarns, every once in a while I give the working thread a light twist a few inches down to minimize the split.

Another one on my to-do list! I can't really get Nuboo here for a sensible price, but I found Stylecraft Naturals Bamboo and Cotton yarn, and I think that's going to work for me.

Love your top! I just made a top using the v stitch and Lion Brand CooBoo yarn. I absolutely LOVE the Bamboo yarns. It's so soft and sooo easy to work with. I've saved this so I can see how you did the v neck. I haven't been using a pattern but need to for this neckline.

I’m so happy this top is what you’ve been looking for! Great timing! The Truboo yarn I believe is a size 3 weight so just watch to make sure the size is right. You may need to add more stitches and rows to meet size. Just refer to the tutorial with the chain count being a multiple of 2 until you meet the width you desire and then work as many rows as you need to meet dimension size before making the triangles. Let me know if you need help figuring out measurements. 😊

Hi! I've been looking for a tank top pattern (video tutorial) fya couple of weeks now, nothing was exactly what I was looking for, I'm trying to add a small side gig of crochet women's and home accessories and women's clothing to my succulent arrangement home biz, and I found your pattern a few hours ago, it's absolutely perfect but because I'm just starting out, I had a bunch of yarn donated to me last November and I've just recently started buying my own yarn and what I have is MUCH thicker than what you're using, it says size 4 medium so I thought if I used a bigger size hook it would possibly work so I'm using a size 6 mm hook but the first row is VERY dense, so, do you think it is still doable if I try with an even bigger hook? I have up to 10 mm I believe, please let me know what you think and I'm Ldo having difficulty figuring out how many stitches to make my foundation row for a size medium and/or size Large, it's not for me so I don't know how to figure that part out either. Thank you so very much in advance for your time I hope to hear back from you soon and if not now then I WILL make it in a couple of weeks when I have money to buy more yarn. Cheers!

Hi Heidi! The chart is located in the pattern itself. There is a lot of information located in the chart that took me a lot of time and effort to figure out including chain count, row count, approximate yarn amount and even going as far as the number of skeins of Nuboo yarn you would need for all sizes XSmall- 5X-Large. This is an amazing tank top and I hope you give it a try. 😊🧶❤️

I love this tank top! I purchase the pattern online but, I'm a little confused with the size chart. The width/bust seems really small. Is this supposed to be around???

Hi there OCD! Ok, you’re using a thinner yarn so you will have to adjust the number of chains you will need from what I put in the chart. Just a little, not a lot. All YOU have to do is get a measuring tape. Measure the largest section of your torso (Bust/Waste). Take that number and divide it by 2. Each panel you make needs to be the number inches wide. Take your crochet hook and the yarn you are using. Chain a foundation row chain until you reach that panel width dimension. Make sure this number is divisible by 2 like I say in the tutorial. And you should be good! 👍🏻. Follow along with the rest of the tutorial the same way.

How many skeins did you use? I haven’t gone through the entire video yet, but want to order the yarn from the link. The Amazon link has a set of 3 skeins but do I need more?
Hi Sheri! The amount of yarn you will need really depends on the size of the top you plan on making. Yes, unless you are making an XSmall size you will need more than 3 skeins of the Nuboo yarn. I included the approximate amount of yarn you will need AND even went above and beyond doing the math to figure out approximately how many Nuboo skeins you would need to make all the sizes. Hi Sheri! Great question. The amount of yarn you will need different per size tank you want to make. I don’t believe I mention how much yarn you will need in the tutorial but you can find all the information located in a chart I made in the pattern.
