The Flippin' Pickle is SimpleShot's very first PFS! Based on Nathan's personal favorite PFS (made many years ago), the Flippin' Pickle is named after the original handmade slingshot company - FlippinOut Slingshots - founded by Nathan.
We've said it once and we'll say it again. This is an expert level slingshot. If you're new to slingshots, DO NOT BUY THIS SLINGSHOT! We won't be answering many questions about this one, because it's only for people who are very well versed in slingshots and know how to use a PFS!
I have a lifetime of experience shooting slingshots; therefore, I understand and agree with the stipulation of requiring an advanced level of slingshot experience before fulfilling one's order of this new product, but with all due respect to you Nathan, you might want reconsider what you conveyed and revise this video. As with any refined skill, such expertise is always preceded with the initial first time. Since I've never shot with a pickle fork, I apparently have to rely on someone else to teach me what I need to know before I can order this from you? Do I need to see if B.H. of PP has a video on this sort of knowledge? You are arguably the master (no pun intended) of slingshot tutorial videos within the slingshot industry, considering the many articulate video presentations you've provided over the years, sharing your vast insight. Quite frankly, I was shocked when I heard you say my order will be denied if I ask what I need to know, in respect to compatible bands. This is contrary to the helpful live chat assistance one typically experiences on your great website. I know you usually prefer to educate, rather than regulate.

We're also glad you know our preference to educate, not regulate. In the end, the only way we could come up with to differentiate an experienced shooter from inexperienced was to say, well . . . if you don't know what bands to use, this isn't for you. We understand it seems crass, but it was the best we could come up with.
It's not so much about regulation as it is finding a way to distinguish a beginner from an expert. We're just asking beginners to not shoot the Pickle, but to choose a different frame.

I purchased the pfs from simple shot. Best shooting I've ever done. Thinking real hard about not shooting anything but the pfs. From now on.

Been shooting for over a year straight been looking for one of these for a month of research on the pfs so must of reading my mind I ended getting one yesterday so thank you for getting this out to the public.

Glad you’re selling a PFS. I’ve always liked them. I shoot instinctive best with one. Only trouble I have, was no matter how I switched up the ammo and bands, I’d get nasty hand slap.. Same setup (OTT, bands, and ammo) on a Axiom Flipkung I was shooting at the time, and no hand slap... I never figured it out..
Try shooting heavier ammo with those bands to absorb more of the energy. Or shoot a lighter band to make sure all the energy ends up in the ammo!
@@simpleshot I actually remember trying that, and still having hand slap. But, I could be remembering wrong... It was a while ago. (At least back to when the Axiom Flipkung was sold!)

What kind of bands are you putting on it?
When I was a kid I built slingshots , but called them FLIPS. I could drive a half inch nut through both sides of a metal Havoline oil can.

I bough a sling ring, I didn't know how to shoot frameless but I learned, same with butterfly, I learnt, I will learn this too. You can't become an expert without learning, right.

Been on the fence getting on till my last trip. I had so many opportunities to catch small game and space was at an all time premium and I could have brought my scout lt but even that was just a little too bulky I didn't bring it *I wish I did. Ive made pfs and enjoyed them but I finally now ordered one 🥒🍴🐇😋

I’ve seen some Chinese use a pfs as a sling bow I think this simple shot model would work really well for that

If it’s for professionals I think the price should be more any newcomer is going to look for the cheaper stuff thinking it’s for newer users just saying
That's why we let people know and it does not come with bands.

How come when I Google ‘Derek Guillory slingshot PFS’ nothing comes up? I want to learn more about him and his slingshot.
Derek Guillory is the man, from what I know, but unfortunately, we're the only ones who give him credit. It has a lot to do with the age of the internet is my guess.

Will you guys ever make a pfs with the flip clip system? I love using pfs but want something with a bit quicker band change
There are not plans for it. The Pickle is so small and thin, adding clips would take away from that so much!

Just kidding. Of course, there's some variance here. No solid definition. But you'd HAVE to understand latex, have an impeccable release and anchor, and truly just be beyond forkhits for sure.
@@simpleshot I'm not an expert, but I want to learn, don't worry about me buying the slingshot right away, but I have to learn this stuff somewhere. So can you tell me, or suggest where to become and "expert"
