Nice review. New sub sent by airsoftology. End of 2018 I had massive fogging issues. Both indoor and out door in AZ. I found a $30 or $35 fan set up on evike that I hook and looped to my bump lid. I then took my dremel and drilled a hole both in my lid and goggles where the two match up having the hose run down the bridge of my nose. I wear eye glasses under my softing goggles and this was the only method I could find that kept both my glasses and goggles from fogging at the same time. Only down side is I get about 6 hours from the batteries. I do like that if the batteries die in the field I can quickly change them and get back to the pew Pew. Thank you for your review and if I change my current fan out I will think about giving this one a try.
Wish I saw this sooner just got the turbofan goggles did not even use them yet, but like you said the fan is part of the mask. Hope I will get a good couple of games with them before it craps out. I really think airsoft is cursed with fog, I play paintball amd I have been playing it for years the milsim type of games and I never fog up so I got the same mask that I use for paintball to play airsoft with and I am fogging it up strange I know
How is the Noise level when using Comms? Biggest thing I have on my current Helmet Fan setup is the noise level and trying to hear Radio chatter. Using a Action Fan System I mounted on the Helmet.
I just got this. I use M frames with a helo kit. I used this for the first time last weekend. conditions: a torrential downpour for about 1/2 hour had just passed. outside temps were around 85 degrees. So humidity was very high. The first challenge i had was routing the tubing into the helo kit. I was able to resolve this by carefully puncturing the gasket at the sides and routing the ends of the tubing into the helo kit. I then secured the tubing with 2 small black zip ties to the temples of the mframes. I mounted the unit onto the back of my ball cap (bill turned backwards) with the velcro. On the field after a hard push my lenses began to fog with the unit turned to the high position. I was very surprised. I had to augment the system by using my neck fan I carry to clear out the fog. After that the system seemed to work fine until the next time. My eye pro fogged again!! had to use my neck fan to augment once again. Result: IMO the fan in this unit is very under powered and does not move enough air to make a difference on its own in these extreme conditions. Either the fan blades need to be redesigned to move more air, the intake port enlarged to allow more air intake, or use a stronger motor/battery to increase the speed of the fan. This unit did not work well on its own for me - perhaps I got a dud?
Those sound like pretty extreme conditions and the M frame are not sealed even with a helo kit. I am sure you would have better let with actual goggles.
@@GunfatherMilsim rob, if I put the strap on the back they are indeed full seal. Aside from that I cannot use full frame goggle due to cheek weld issues on my guns. It totally changes the orientation to my scope. I need as low pro eye pro possible. That's one of the reasons I use m frames.
@@ghostwalkerairsofttech1947 Perhaps your M frame helo kit differs from mine. I use the M frames with the helo kit as well and I never have any fogging issues. I just use Fogtech wipes. I only use the Exfog kit with my goggles. Maybe look into a riser.
@@GunfatherMilsim I don't use any anti fog sprays, etc, on them as I was told it would affect the supposed anti fog properties of the lenses. I use a clear vented lense. Although in retrospect where the vents are in relation to how the helo kit sits the vents(top of the lense) are basically useless.
Thank you for your detail in describing the problem. There do seem to be issues when using the M Frames that do not persist on other goggles when using the ExFog. I personally can not help you but please shoot my dad (creator) an email with as much detail as possible about your issue to sales@exfog.com. I do believe he has a solution for your M Frame problem.
Well IMO it is reasonably priced. Honestly I would gladly pay more for it if the plastic was more durable. If you think it is too expensive I would suggest you not buy it.

I have one also. Fantastic product that really work to combat the fogging problem

It's very quiet. Even on the highest setting I barely notice it.
so with this system can you wear a cloth over your face without fogging up?
Well that depends on what kind of eye protection you wear. If you wear full seal goggles then yes.

Where is your flag? New room?
Yeah it might be a great system but for the cost it ain't worth it it's more than your helmet more than your goggles and about a third of a good gun
I guess that all depends on how much you are paying for your gun, goggles and gear.
Reasonable prices get high collie mask for about 70 80 bucks then turn around paid just as much for a cooling system right
