I put screen protectors on all my cameras. I got the glass kind. But if you try and flip if so the back is black again there is a small bump because of the extra glass so I always just leave the LCD screen showing.
I did the same, and having issues with flipping it properly. But there are people who purchased screen protectors with lesser thickness, and are able to flip & fold it properly.
I cannot tell how happy I was to find your channel. I have been using my Nikon D700 for 10 yrs now and refused to upgrade because i'm so in love with it. I have so many high quality full frame lenses that I've purchased over the years and have been thrilled with all of it. Lately, I have been wanting to upgrade to something lighter, but wanted to stick with Nikon, because I learned photography on it and have accumulated a lot of lenses. After checking into mirrorless cameras it never dawned on me that I wouldn't be able to use my lenses. I don't want to use an adapter. I've spent countless hours researching cameras and have decided to switch to Canon also. But, the thought of having to learn a new camera brand is overwhelming to me, plus the thought of having to start collecting new lenses is not appealing either. I would LOVE it if you could do a tutorial on setting up the R6. It would at least give me a head start and I would be so appreciative that it might help to remove any anxiety i have over the switch. Also, would you be able to recommend how to go about selling all my Nikon gear? I have no idea. Thank you, for this video. It really helped me to know that I've made the right decision.
ahhhh this makes me sooo happy to hear!!! I love having you here!!!! It sounds like you are in the same boat that I was in a few years ago before I made the change. It was so hard knowing the money I'd invested in Nikon though even with the added expense, I am so happy with my decision!! So many are upgrading to mirrorless these days so if you're considering the switch I wouldnt hold off too long so you can get good market value for your current gear. I sold all of my gear on Facebook marketplace and it worked great for me in my area. The biggest trouble with going nikon DSLR to Canon mirrorless is not having the adapter, so the switch was pricy! I will absolutley do a video on how I set up my camera. Since all the buttons are customizable, it took me a while to find a set up that I was happy with. Like with anything, there is a learning curve but its very user friendly!!! I 1000% think you're making the right decision!! Have you thought about what lenses you might get first?
@@bokehbiz Yes, more than likely the 35mm and a macro lense as well as a great lens for traveling. Also, later on I would like to purchase the 85mm, even though I thought I would love the 135mm, I decided to purchase the 85 instead. But, that one will be down the road. Aslo, Thank you for replying back. You have no idea how much it's meant to me to find your channel. I look forward to all your videos. Very informative!!!
Thanks again for putting all this out there! On the Canon 90D DSLR camera now, but am saving for the R6 and the first RF lens. Loved your coverage of dual card shooting in your other video. Attending a workshop in April with 8 separate models and now think I will use a new card for each model... or maybe 2 models per card.
Oh thats exciting! I love doing in person workshops!!!!!!! You'll be so excited when you make the jump to the R6! The dual card slot is an absolute deal breaker in my mind. That paired with swtiching your cards and having a good storage system is 1000% worth it! Which workshop did you decide on?
@@bokehbiz I am attending Joey Wright's Swimwear Workshop in Miami. I figure shooting outside in natural light under instruction is probably a good way to overcome any type of nervousness about shooting outside. : ) Will be using the 90D for the workshop. The R6 will have to wait for a bit... planning on buying it with the 50mm f/1.2. Since I don't have the dual card slots, definitely plan on switching out cards during the shoot (8 models). And using your storage system.
Hello I just subscribed to your channel. I have a Nikon D7200 and many lenses but I want to buy the Canon R6 and I wasn’t sure about the lenses, because I thought about just upgrading to another Nikon mirrorless but I really like the Canon R6. So I guess the only solution is to sell the Nikon lenses that I already have. So If you can give me some advice I would appreciate it.
THANK YOU :)
You're welcome!

Great idea!

That was the big jump I made, sold everything Nikon and switched to the Canon. It was a big change but one I'm really happy I did
nice
Thank you!
